Workers were efficient and knew what they were doing

They arrived on time and worked on my roof for a good portion of the day. They also pointed my bricks and put a special protective coating which will last forever. I had several estimates done before hiring this company. One of the other companies pointed some things out. This company was the only one that got everything. The price was satisfactory for the amount of work that was done. The boss seemed to have a nice rapport with all his workers. He made sure they stopped to have lunch and made sure they had something to eat.

Super responsive, even on Labor Day, and came promptly at the time they said they would. Have fair advice and a fair price. Highly recommend!

They do good work but the clean up afterwards could be better

They did an excellent job. It was so amazing, that I hired them to do a larger project. The crew were professional, the work was excellent, they were innovative, and they completely and thoroughly explained the options.

I hired Louise August to clean my gutters and roof in Capitol Hill, DC. They quoted a very competitive price over the phone. They were prompt, communicative in arranging a time, and very professional. George, Jim and their team cleaned out my gutters lickety-split and even diagnosed additional roof problems. George took the time to show me pictures of the roof and explained the issues clearly and patiently. Their team of guys were very fast. I would recommend this company, I had a really great experience.

Louise August did a FANTASTIC job getting brickwork fixed and making new window sills for the front of my 1890 row house in DC. Couldnâ t be more pleased with the promptness with which my project was started and the quality of the workmanship ! Highly recommend !!

The Louis August company responded promptly to my inquiry on Anji. George's estimate was $2,000-5,000 lower than the other estimates. The work was SUPERB. Instead of just pointing one of the walls, George kindly offered to do that entire wall. Walter is a superb mason. He did recessed joints as I requested, matched the mortar, and repaired cracks in my stone windowsills. All of the work was done extremely neatly and beautifully. Jim August also recommended that they replace missing slates on my mansard roof, for an additional price. Walter again did a perfect job. At the end of the work, they sprayed all walls, window sills, and slate roof with a transparent sealant. I couldn't be happier. I strongly recommend this company.

We contacted George and arranged an appointment to have our gutters cleaned and assessed. He was very responsive on our calls. He sent a gentleman round who arrived on time. Gutters were cleaned, and photos were provided before and after. In addition, I was concerned about the state of the gutters and downspouts so asked George to provide some recommendations, partly because we keep finding birds nests up there. He gave us some suggestions to improve the health of our gutters, the downspouts and the facia boards. He was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We intend to use George and his team in the future and would have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

Mr. August quickly responded to my request. He assessed and recommended what needed to happen to resolved the concerns of what was a cosmetic repair to siding and identified a bigger problem on the roof. He was very professional and thoughtful and took care of both issues that included waterproofing my roof. Iâ m grateful for his quick actions , the before and after pictures and his teams work. I will continue using him on projects of this nature. And would highly recommend him.

While working to install new gutters, they identified a problem with my roof. This gave me the option of performing both jobs at the same time and saved me additional funding.
