In my case, Home Depot subcontracted my order to M. R. Stone, LLC of Mt. Airy, Md. The fabrication and installation by M. R. Stone was demonstrably unworkmanlike and even though I demonstrated the flaws, Home Depot refused to honor their written workmanship warranty. My counter top is crooked and my quartz, under mount sink is improperly installed with 2 drywall screws and some scrap wood instead of the factory supplied hardware. Please be warned that you may get a good job in which case you won't have the need to exercise the warranty - but if you get a poor job - don't count on Home Depot to stand behind the warranty. Home Depot has a cozy business relationship with M. R. Stone and their other contractors and they stand shoulder to shoulder and collude against their customers. If you do decide to take a chance and order counter tops from Home Depot, get a written description of what constitutes poor workmanship and try to avoid M. R. Stone, LLC.

They were very good. The young man that came out was very helpful with getting us information on an insurance program for our washer and dryer, and we got a discount for that. He worked over time on our washer and dryer. He was very neat, clean and articulate. Home Depot always sends professional people to do their work.

There was an issue with the contractor they hired. I contacted Home Depot, and they acted immediately to replace items that were taken from us. I really admire their philosophy for they. They did what they should have done. They fired that company, and sent another group out that did it right.

It went well, they had a flat tire issue but that wasn't under their control. It went well considering the circumstances.

It took them three months to get the door up. I was unhappy with them. It took way too long for them to do anything. The guys that came to actually put the flooring in, the quality of the work they did was good once it was done. The problem was they broke my doors. And I was told when they took the doors down I had to put new doors up. Nobody every told me that. Nobody told me that they had to break the door to put the floors down. I was actually going to finish putting more flooring in but I didn't put in. The end result was I never put the floors down in the entry way in my house because they would take the doors down.

I went to the store to purchase custom blinds for a window box in my kitchen. I was very clear about the fact that the blinds were going into a window box that juts out from by kitchen. During the order process I was asked if the blinds are going inside of the window frame. I answered no they were going inside the window box, but outside the window frame. The end result was that the blinds were 0.25 inches too long and would not fit. I understand this. It is a simple miss communication, inside box but outside frame. The problem is that when I called about this. All I got was we’ll call you back which only happened one time out of the 10-15 calls I made. I was referred from one manager to another again with no call backs. It was the classic hot potato stall tactics. The sales associated are nice, friendly and helpful, but the manger staff I dealt with was not at all professional.

It was wonderful! I'm very pleased with the great job they did. They were punctual, courteous, and tidy. My wife still raves over the exceptional service we got, and the price was also very reasonable.

They do a good installation and they are good to work with. They did a good job. It is hard to find someone who can beat their prices. I would use them again.

Terrific! Home Depot was great managing the project from providing the measuring and cost quote to the actual installation. The team they sent to do the install was very professional, and the workmanship was top-notch. They even asked if I wanted the small bit of remaining new carpet. The new carpet looks great!

They redid our kitchen. They tore out the old kitchen and they installed new cabinets, sink. They did not install the countertops, this was another company subcontracted by Home Depot. This occurred between thanksgiving and Christmas. There was some confusion about pricing, but they did a good job in terms of helping us what the options were. We had to do a lot of research and be clear about what we wanted. They were helpful in terms of the product. There were some glitches on the computer remodelling that was frustrating. They tried to steer us to one particular product. We were given a quote that we thought was all inclusive and we found out it was not all inclusive. We thought the quote had been misrepresented. Though they resolved the issue for us when we threatened to cancel and that was unpleasant. Overall it was a good experience. Home Depot has done other things for us and I was happy with them.

From the day that Home Depot arrived to estimate the job, they were never on time, usually several hours late. Phone calls were rarely returned once the contract was signed. The job as completed by Accurate Insulation LLC was sub standard and had to be partially reinstalled. Two gutter stretches were too short and had to be replaced.The gutter fittings, instead of form fitted end-caps and corners, were crimped beyond measure, appearing to be mangled. My concerns on this issue were dismissed by the contractors. The first rain gave us two new interior leaks. The longest gutter stretch still has a prominent bow in the middle which we are told poses and quot; no problemand quot;. Damaged facia and soffit that was not replaced and has since been replaced by others. Numerous hanger screws were not set until I requested that they be set and attached to the facia. Debris removal required my attention to make sure it was all removed. The lead protection and clean up that was paid as extra to Home Depot was never performed and I was promised numerous times by Home Depot a refund. I am still waiting to see the refund. After four visits by Accurate Insulation LLC to get this job correct I have basically given up and accepted the finished project, but I am very unhappy with the experience of dealing with Home Depot and Accurate Insulation LLC . I will never consider them again for any home projects.

It was great and he gave us a lot of great information. He was on time and very professional.

They were great. The people I worked with were fantastic. It got a little disorganized at times it was an overall good experience. The guy that came to my house was really good. He screwed up something in my kitchen in my dishwasher but he came back out on his own time on a Saturday to fix it, so that impressed me. If I had to do my kitchen over again, the guy that installed it didn't put some piping in correctly so my dishwasher makes a lot of noise. I thought about calling them back up but it is too much hassle right now. I called about 15 companies and they were by far the best.

Poor quality product, poor installation, poor customer service, and a dishonest and untrustworthy sales representative. We ordered custom blinds from ROCKWOOD SHUTTERS/Home Depot in September 2011. When we called in November wondering why we hadn't received the blinds, ROCKWOOD SHUTTERS stated the blinds were sitting in their warehouse. First, ROCKWOOD SHUTTERS uses inexperienced installers. The installer had previously only installed shades. Some blinds were installed completely crooked. Secondly, the custom blinds were defective. The blinds did not fold-up neatly under the valance and they stuck-out far from the window. The pull-strings hung down onto the floor. We called the sales rep. Tina, to complain about the problem. Tina initially showed interest in helping to resolve these problems. She convinced us to upgraded to Plantation shutters. Big Mistake. We waited two months for the installation. After making many calls to find out why we hadn't received the shutters, contrary to what the Tina had told us, the shutters were never ordered. Tina was dishonest and deceitful, and refused to return my calls or my emails. ROCKWOOD SHUTTERS provided no help in returning the defective product or providing a refund. It took many weeks working with Home Depot to obtain my refund.

The experience was a NIGHTMARE. It took quite awhile for the cabinet to come in which was somewhat expected. The person who sold it to me was supposed to also order a kick plate and filler for the side of the cabinet. When the cabinet finally arrived, it was determined that she forgot to add in these two items. She was supposed to order it then. There was a delay in starting my project because i was on travel. When I returned and contacted them, the customer service person said that I had signed for it when I picked up the cabinet. I told them that I did not. She kept on insisting that I did and even suggested that perhaps I was not telling the truth. When she called me back after awhile, they had found it in the back of the kitchen design area. When I picked it up, it was 2 and quot; too short. This is not rocket science if you take into account the height of the cabinet. Plus there was no kick plate included. They reordered the items. I insisted that they expedite it because it caused a delay in completion of my bathroom renovation. I asked the customer service to contact me but either they did not return my calls or left messages on my land line which I never use, despite me telling them on NUMEROUS occasions to use my cell phone. One assistant manager told me it would arrive at my home by Thursday (inconveniencing my contractor). I was told that it would be shipped directly to my home. In fact, it was shipped by the company on that date and was sent to Home Depot directly. I didn't get it until tuesday of the following week, only after calling them several times and threatening a lawsuit. My contractor had to work around this and come back a week later to finish. This is an example of complete incompetence and rudeness. I will NEVER purchase a nail from these folks again much less get them involved in any home improvement project. Buyer Beware!

It went well. There was a team to install the carpet. They were fast, courteous, and did a nice job. There was on gentleman to install the front screen door and he was also very nice, quick and cleaned up after himself. I have a rental property in Virginia and used the local Homedepot to install carpet there and had the same experience.

I had a little trouble with it and they came out twice. Six months later, when the lock wasn’t working correctly, they ended up giving me a whole new lock assembly. So, they were very good. I paid $1200 for the door. They have a lot of branches. So, their locations are convenient. Their service is very good. The people, who work there, are knowledgeable and helpful. I had no problems with them. I will use their services in the future.

My experience with them turned out very well. The kitchen cabinet was a very good transaction. The tile came in 3 boxes short and it took them probably 2 more weeks to get me the last 3 boxes. That was a pain of sort, but not very much. I actually thought better of home depot after this whole experience than I had prior.

It went great. Jim at the Home Depot store was great to work with. He is very knowledgeable about doors and did a great job. Steve who cam to our home to measure as well as the two installers also did a great job. The doors work beautifully.

We dealt with Ron Deutch in the Appliance Department. He was helpful and patient. In particular, he pointed out rebates available and major differences in products. When the refrigerator was delivered, it had the wrong controls on the door. Ron personally called the manufacturer and had it replaced. He was also very patient with my wife who looked not only at the floor models but everything on the special order also. In shopping around, there was very little difference in bottom line price but Ron provided excellent customer service.

The salesman at Home Depot really knew his product. He returned phone calls and followed up with me. We thought we'd have the carpet installed in 1 week but we were called later to say it was back-ordered. So, we waited longer than we expected/hoped when we paid for it. That's why I gave a "B" to punctuality score. Installers did excellent job, cleaned up well and were polite.

Scheduled measuring technician came as scheduled to record the dimensions. Crew came later and installed the laminate. The work was done quickly and accurately, and it looks very good.

Sales rep was friendly. The subcontractors were great. They showed up on-time and did a great job installing the new counter tops. They look wonderful. We took advantage of a nice sale and were pretty pleased with the price.

It was difficult to schedule a time with Home Depot to order the kitchen cabinet. The pantry cabinet was delivered on time and the delivery staff were professional.

It was hard to schedule a time with associates at the store to plan and order cabinets. The order was received in a timely manner and delivery was on time for the cabinets. Countertop installers did not return calls in a timely manner.
