He did a great job.

Harold was very responsive upon first contact and we had an estimate quickly. It took us a little time to settle on our painting contractor and select our paint, but soon after we were ready the company began the work. Harold did consult on what finishes of paint (eggshell, flat, etc.) based on room uses and sizes and offered paint advice when asked (although we didn't ask too much, as we knew what we wanted.) He pointed out that a couple of ceilings could use repainting and we agreed with his assessment. We asked him to take down and patch all the fixtures in the bathrooms (towel racks etc.) and not reinstall them and you can't tell where they were now (good patching job.) The job took about seven working days and the team worked a Saturday to get it done on time. The painters left very neat trim lines, working with previous trim lines that weren't as neat but covering evidence of the previous paint. Upon completion, we noted some clean-up items that Harold took the time to come and finish. We even noticed a few things a little later that he came back out to fix. He mentioned that if the walls were scuffed on move-in he would be willing to come back out to fix the walls. Harold wants his customers to be pleased with their paint job, and is very pleasant to work with and speak to. The house is gleaming and beautiful with the paint job. We are very happy with the results. As a note: if you send requests in e-mail, Harold will still ask you to show him what you require, which in retrospect makes a lot of sense to ensure that you're both on the same page. I appreciate Harold's attention to our needs through the whole process and would use his services again.

Overall things went well. He was prompt and very professional. The painting job went well and as did the dry wall repair for the most part. In some lighting conditions, I can still see where the dry wall was patched. He did come back to put another coat of paint on the ceiling but still in some lighting conditions, I can still see where the ceiling was patched. I am not sure if this is the usual result when dry wall is patched. This was my experience. Overall, would use for painting but not sure about the drywall as I am still up in the air.

The painter did a fabulous job. He did what I hired him to do and he did a good job. I like him since he is a great guy. He was very professional and knew what he was doing. His price was good and I would definitely use him again.
