Joel was a thorough professional who walked me through every aspect of the project. There were no surprises after I hired him for the project. (I hate those who walk in and then disclose additional expenses about something already discussed.) He completed everything in timely manner. He kept me in the loop about any unwarranted changes and their resolutions as he progressed. His in-depth knowledge and experience was quite evident from the time I contacted him about my requirements. One thing I like to point out here about him is - He left my living room as it was before. He made sure there was no debris or any dust left after completion. I have had bad experiences where I had to stress those handymen to clean their mess after completing their work. Joel made sure there was nothing left on the floor. This speaks about his quality of work and professionalism. Every dollar spent for his service was worth it. I would say, his price for the service was very reasonable. I have received lots of praise for the clean look he provided to my bedroom entertainment system. The install was a bit challenging as Joel kept running into unforeseen bumps in the road. I have a solid wood paneled basement in a 50+ year old home. This is where the installation took place. We thought there would be room to place the wires behing the paneling but this was not the case. There was no good measurement of spaces behind the paneling and the stud finder could not place all of the strips which were running horizontally and vertically for some unknown reason. We arrived at a solution to run the wires behind wire covers which matched the trim molding perfectly. It looks amazing. Joel waled me through every step he was taking to make sure I knew what was going on and thatI approved of the solution. I could not be happier and I am now going to have him install a security system for me. I highly recommend Joel and Every Man Home Entertainment for any design work and installation. He is quick to respond and a pleasure to deal with!

When I knew I had to do ceiling and dye all repair, Joel came in with great recommendations on what upgrades I could do on the limited budget I had. He made time during the day and evenings to work with and around the drywall guys too. Due to some issues with the original construction of the house Joel was forced to try plans B, C, and D before finding a way to make the wiring work, but he was upbeat and completely transparent the entire time. I love the final outcome and couldn't be happier with the way he worked with me throughout the process.
