 + 0 moreGreat. Rob came and looked at the leak and asked me if I wanted him to try and fix it instead of replacing it. To replace it would have required cutting a hole in the stipple ceiling (maybe two) and possibly emptying and moving a China closet away from the wall. Not only would that have cost almost 3 times the final bill but I would have had to hire someone to repair the damage to the ceiling afterward. Rob took the faucet apart, cleaned it up, replaced the washer and screw and all was well!!! Saved me bundles of money and aggravation. Honest people, I would use them again if I have the need.

Came prepared with a gas installation kit that the gas range delivery company forgot to deliver. His soft spoken manner and smiles helped lowered the stress of a range delivery order where many things went wrong.  + 0 moreIt was very easy to schedule an appointment. I called on 11/9 and was able to schedule an appointment for 11/10 between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. The plumber arrived early. He said that I needed a new faucet. I went to Home Depot and purchased a new faucet. I called Ehrhardt after I had purchased the faucet. A plumber came to my house about 30 minutes later to install the new faucet.

 + -1 moreWe had an emergency issue that was detected that had rendered our kitchen sink unusable. Vince from Ehrhardt came out within 90 minutes of my call to the office and had the issue resolved within 30 minutes. There was no emergency fee and they even gave us a 10% discount for being a first time customer. I will also add that he had a mask on before he rang the bell, which is encouraging in this current moment. I would absolutely recommend them based on this experience.

 + -1 moreFixed a broken cast iron toilet drain flange. Project was definitely harder than expected, but they got it done. I had to call them back because I thought they messed up on one aspect. However, turned out to be fine and I wasn't charged for asking them to come back out for nothing. Great company and great customer service.

 + 0 moreEstimator came out when he said he would which was during the beginning of the pandemic. I was concerned because the kitchen had flooded and I needed repairs done. He was honest, fair and quoted a reasonable time and price. The next week plumbers Octavio and associate came and did an excellent job. They worked quickly and efficiently. They explained what they were doing so that I understood what was happening and took great care in not damaging new wooden floors that were put in two weeks prior. They wore mask and gloves because of COV19. Both men were kind and completely all about making me happy. I have not had any issues with what they have done which was replacing all old pipes for new ones. I am Very happy with Ehrhardt Brothers Plumbing and will hire them soon to install a new stove and dishwasher.

 + -1 moreLong story short, I paid about $1000 for a sewage back up issue, but the problem was not solved after their technicians came twice and charged twice for the same issue. I had to hire another plumber for the same problem and paid another $800 to unclog the sewage line. The other company solved it. When I notify Ehrhardt Brothers the third time that the technician did not do the job, they blame something wrong with my property. I think their technicians are inexperienced and still learning. Unfortunately I paid their tuition this time with property damage and hotel stays, together the repeated charges for incompetent work.

 + -1 moreVince came out and was very polite and knowledgeable. He removed some water savers and adjusted the scald guard, and cleaned out some debris. The water pressure is now awesome! I would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: I was having problems with low water pressure in two showers, and one of them had a hot water knob that was very hard to turn on. Quite often the pipes in the wall wold make loud noises.

 + -1 moreEhrhardt Brothers is great. I'm a repeat customer who appreciates the great customer service this vendor provides. Today I had Rob, who made short work of my many tasks. The toilet required a cannister chain adjustment. To fix the Dishmaster, he tightened the packing nut and handle to stop the dripping. In the basement, he tightened the packing nuts for the main and hose bib shutoffs. Then, he tested the sump pump and declared it operational (recommending battery replacement between five to seven years). The most complicated issue: the outside faucets require replacement hose bibs, which I'll schedule for spring. In the meantime, my other problems were solved in under an hour. Thanks Rob!
Description of Work: Five items: fix problem with the toilet tank (didn't properly refill); stop cold water leak on Dishmaster; tighten packing nuts around basement water outlets (water would drip when I shut the water off or turned it back on); check basement sump pump operation (it had made a funny clicking noise); diagnose problem with outside water faucets (water leaked around the hose connection)

 + -1 moreI have had Ehrhardt plumbing for numerous plumbing jobs. The Roman Tub Faucet installation was probably the least successful job but still OK. The tech left and the faucet was on a constant drip/flow. I had to call and have the tech return. He said he needed a replacement part. Since the faucet was one I had ordered online -and from company Ehrhardt does not deal with, I needed to find it. I eventually did. The drip fortunately stopped. I still wanted someone to come and recheck it -- didn't seem to work that great. I was told I would have to pay for the recheck. I was disappointed considering I have been a good loyal customer. I opted not to have him come. Previously they have replaced two hot water heaters. I would still call them because for the most part the service has been satisfactory.

He finished both jobs (kitchen faucet installation and bathroom faucet repair) in less than 35 minutes. As a new customer they gave us a 10% discount, which was great.
