The process could not have been better. Everyone I had contact with was great. The owner (Mike) worked with me to see that I was treated properly concerning a free replacement water heater under manufacturer guarantee after 15 years of service. Yes it had a lifetime guarantee. I contacted Ehrhardt's because the manufacturer gave me them as a service provider. A check of reviews at Angie's List convinced me to look no further. The slow leak from the tank was manageable due to a drain pan under the tank. I was eligible for the best electric water heater currently made by the manufacturer. Unfortunately the only model stocked by local distributors is the entry level model. Factory delivery is normally 2-3 weeks, without a major holiday to deal with. Ehrhardt's arranged for a field installed upgrade kit to be added to the stock heater. While the lifetime guarantee stays enforce for as long as I am the owner, I wanted to minimize the cost of installation which I have to bear.I was called when the heater was available and scheduled within 36 hours. The estimated time of arrival was accurate even with an emergency call fitted in before me. The office called to tell me Keith was enroute. Great care was take to protect the floor coverings from the water trapped in the heater's insulation when the unit was removed. The cost of installation was fixed and Keith took the time to do a professional looking job to replumb the pipes above the new tank.. Some would have just done the minimal work. The reasons for the change in piping was explained in advance. I was surprised at the cost since I have not had any plumbing work done that was not included in a overall project.. I believe I received A+ service for a fair price. I would recommend them to anyone.

The faucet in my bathroom broke. I had someone come and fix it but it wouldn't stop dripping afterwards. He came by 2 other times and the dripping just got worse. I called in another person and he could not figure out what to do either and actually made things worse. And what was most distressing was that none of them could give me a very logical explanation for why the dripping was occurring. I know next to nothing about plumbing, but their explanations made absolutely no sense if I considered all the facts. That is when I called in "Angie". Apparently these other guys were not using genuine parts. Once the guy from Ehrhardt put in the correct piece, "poof", all the dripping stopped. He also changed my PVR and the price was just a little lower than the first guy quoted.

We had a number of plumbing projects lining up so looked up Super Serve Award winners on Angie's list and called nearest ones to our location. Ehrhardt were first to respond and were able to get us scheduled on the same day, also gave a rough estimate after getting job details. Keith showed up right on time and was able to take care of everything within 2 hours, he was very professional and efficient. He was a little apprehensive about installing bidets as they are usually a European utility but after reading the manual got each installed in 10 mins. Keith maintained a very clean work area, he carried a small hand towel to wipe away smallest drips. He also took away all the packing material although we had bought most of it online. Overall, it was a great experience, will be keeping Ehrhardt on speed dial for any plumbing jobs going forward.

Overall I think my service was excellent. I did a rolling plumber call capturing estimates to replace a 50 gallon water heater after I had the water heater drained and the elements replaced the week before, only to wake-up two mornings later to absolutely NO hot water. After looking at the many reviews for the places that I contacted (via Angie's List) coupled with price and availability I decided on Ehrhardt Brothers. The technician (Keith) arrived on-time, with approximately a 15 minute courtesy call before-hand. I showed him to the water heater and explained to him the situation. After inspecting the condition of the water heater and looking at the build/manufactured date he was confident the water heater could be repaired and I should be able to for-go the replacement. He bought in a few gadgets, ran some tests (roughly 20 minutes or so), then told me I simply need new thermostats. He made a quick run to a local store to pick-up the thermostats and replaced them and I've had hot water since. After saving me nearly $840 on a new water heater, I showed Keith (the tech) to some other plumbing issues I was having, inquiring about the longevity of my current pipes and looking at the garbage disposal. We had a brief discussion about the pipes and he fixed the garbage disposal by removing a plug that typical should be removed during installation that apparently was not. All in all I had a great experience and would definitely recommend Ehrhardt Brothers. FYI, the estimate on replacing the 50 gallon water heater was ~$840, which was comparable to the other 4+ estimates I had received.

Overall, super job performed by Ehrhardt Brothers Quality Plumbing (EBQP), Inc. (Keith). I called EBQP on Tuesday, 22 Nov, and although the plumbers had other jobs, the phone representative worked with me and Keith to get my appointment scheduled the next day (Wednesday, 23 Nov 11)! EBQP was very responsive to my plumbing needs, clearly explained the cost associated with completing the work I needed done, and was very competent and professional... a highly recommend!

Apptointment was scheduled quickly. Plumber arrived on time and fixed all 3 of my issues in a timely manner. He was polite, efficient and did not waste any time. Both leaks were fixed and an old water filter in teh main line to the kitchen sink was removed from pipe in basement.

I needed my sewer line replaced because the pipes were terra cotta and roots had broken into them and it was causing a backup in my basement bathroom (an issue I'd already paid two other companies before I contacted Ehrhardt Bros [EB] to identify for me). I called EB and we discussed the particulars of my situation. I told them what the problem was and wanted an estimate on replacing the line. Mike Ehrhardt, whom I was communicating with, said they needed to perform their own snaking/camera work (understandable, even though I had already paid for previous snaking and camera work from other companies). We agreed that the amount of the work for snaking would be deducted from the price of replacing the sewer line. (Quote from email from Mike Erhadt: "As per our agreement, the fee for the snake and camera work will be put towards the sewer replacement.") Under those terms and the great price they quoted me for the entire replacement, I approved the estimate from Ehrhardt Bros for the following: 1. Replace approximately 45? of 4? pipe, approximately 8? in depth. Excavate as needed to replace pipe. Back fill tamp, seed, and straw. The snake work was done, paid for by me, and then I was never contacted again to get my entire sewer line replaced. I emailed and called for 3 months and got the run-around and no one ever contacted me to set an appointment. Miss Utility even came and marked the lines but Ehrhardt never got back to me. Eventually, I had to pay for yet another company to do the replacement job. I feel duped in paying Ehrhardt $490 for snake/camera work when I was assured that that amount would be deducted from the overall $3,650 of replacing the line, and then to never have had my line replaced. The professional and ethical thing would have been to tell me that they wouldn't be able to do the entire job, and I would have saved my $500 to put towards a company who would have done the entire job, which I did in the end.

This is the first time I hired this company. I hired them due to the Angie's Super Service Award. I will never use this company again. They were late, without calling me. They couldn't reinstall a radiator because the new tile floor was too high. Instead of advising me that the floor was too high, tech tried to force in the radiator and thus cracked (i.e. shattered) my newly installed floor tile. He did feel bad about the cracked tile and told me there would be no charge for today's visit. Two weeks later, I received an invoice in the mail for $112.00. I called the company and spoke to the owner, Mike. Mike said since I was so unhappy that I didn't have to pay the bill. This is not the level of professionalism I expect from a company that was given the Super Service Award. No offer was made to fix the tile. Very disappointed.

After calling several other plumbers, some of which we had used before, Erhardt was the only one who could offer same day service. They did a great job.

They were great during our first visit -- prompt, professional, clean and inexpensive. I called to make an appointment for a service call when we were ready to commence with our remodel and they never showed up and never called. I chalked it up to a mistake and called back to set another appointment. The receptionist was very apologetic and we set another appointment with a window of 1-3pm. My husband wanted to be present to speak to the plumber when he came, so he took off a half day of work to be here. When I hadn't yet heard anything at 2:45, I called the office (based upon my last experience) to make sure they were coming. The receptionist said that as far as she knew, I was on the schedule, but she would call them and call me back. She called me back at 3pm to tell me that he was stuck on a jobsite in Silver Spring (I live in Columbia) and asked if we could reschedule for Monday. I explained that I had already been stood up twice and I'd have to find someone else who could be reliable.

I noticed that our sump pump had stopped working. I called Ehrhardt Brothers on a Monday morning and they quoted a price and said they would be there first thing the next morning. Keith showed up around 8:00 as promised and got right to work. He was both professional and friendly. He patiently answered all questions that I had and finished up in less that an hour. It was a totally positive experience. I will definitely use them again when the need arises.

The service went really well. The technician came to our house and tested the old garbage to determine why it did not work. Once it was established that the old disposal had died, a new unit was installed quickly.

I was able to get someone to come on the day I called. He arrived when expected and completed the repair quickly.

Brian was great- right on time, answered questions and did a great job. Didn't even complain that due to low hanging trees, he had to park a short walk away from our house and had to go back and forth to his truck several times. Fixtures in bathroom needed to be replaced ( old, and one was the cause of the leak), but had not planned on doing that, and that was not on the original list of jobs we had discussed. Husband was able to get to the store and get them and Brian installed them, no problem. Fantastic job and extremely reasonable price wise. Will def. recommend and use again!!

Excellent service and a decent price.

They came on time and did the work as outlined. I even got a 10% discount. This was not a service call, so I did not qualify for the coupon discount you see online but when I asked they gave me a "new customer discount".

Was fast, efficient, neat, pleasant and the work did not cost nearly as much as I thought it would!

Despite the backlog of work due to the hurricane, the folks at Erhardt were able to schedule an appointment quickly. Work was done efficiently and Keith (the plumber) is very experienced and reasonable. We have had him come to our house before and he is always friendly and explains things in detail. We were up and running an hour after he arrived and he tested everything to make sure it was working before he left.

They scheduled the visit quickly, were able to custom fit the new disposal, and overall did a nice job.

Keith was great! He worked efficiently and kept me posted on what needed to be done. He did excellent work. I highly recommend him and the company!

Sunday: Four year old flushed a duckie down the toilet. Toilet is now blocked. No need to call plumber for a Sunday emergency, as we have other toilets. Monday: called for an appointment. Again, no emergency. Arranged for the plumber to do the work on Tuesday. (Ehrhardt could have come on Monday, but we had appointments to get to. Tuesday was just fine.) Tuesday: Plumber arrived. Was courteous and efficient. (good with our four year old). He pushed the duckie down to the sewer. Toilet is now unblocked. Four year old learns that there are some journeys from which a duckie will not return.

Due to my location I wasn't able to hire Ehrhardt Brothers Quality Plumbing. I am in the midst of my search.

They did a nice job. I thought they did fine. They came, fixed it and were gone.

The other company that I called first was very unresponsive. The guys from Ehrhardt came out very quickly and did a very good job. We had had them earlier for replacing garbage disposal, and we were happy with the man. When I found out they also do sewer cleaning, I called them. I am happy with the experience that I had with them. We were happy with their job.

We recently moved into a new home, and could not figure out how to turn on the water to the hose bib in the back of the house. Called Ehrhardt, and they were able to send someone out in just 30 minutes. They were able to locate the shut off, repaired the valve handle, and got the water flowing again, and saved me the cost of a new valve. While he was here, the plumber also noticed that I had a toilet that tended to run after being flushed, and fixed that problem as well. I couldn't be happier.
