Keith was excellent from start to finish. he struggled w/limited access under our relatively small kitchen, but did complete our desired replacements in a timely, excellent manner. He was thoruoghly professional, yet mainatined a friendly air.

On time, excellent attitude, highly skilled, pleasantly explained the task and completed everything neatly.

I had an outside drain that was flooding my basement whenever there was a hard rain. I called them on the weekend and received a prompt call back first thing Monday Morning. They scheduled a workman to come out quickly. I was especially concerned about having someone come within a short period of time because there was a hurricane coming and I knew that I'd have another basement flood on my hands if I didn't get the problem taken care of. The plumber arrived and I explained the problem and he spent an hour snaking out the drain. He then determined that the drain was a "French Drain" and didn't actually connect to my sump pump. He then explained several options for what the problem was...with one option being to use a jackhammer to rip up my basement floor and install a second sump pump near the outside stairs. However, he recommended that I first buy some hydraulic cement and use it on the outside basement stairs (that had cracks that leaked water) to see if that would fix the problem so that I could avoid the expense and mess of a new sump pump. I went out and bought and applied the hydraulic cement and it fixed the problem! I was so grateful that he gave me an inexpensive and easy option to try to help stop the flooding instead of just trying to sell me an expensive and messy solution. I have recommended them many times since and am going to have them replace my ancient water heater.

On Monday, we arrived home to find our kitchen flooded. A pipe seal had ruptured in the upstairs bathroom causing damage to the bathroom, the adjacent bedroom, the kitchen below, and the living room adjacent to the kitchen. As young, first-time homeowners, we were completely oblivious about how to fix the problem and concerned about the cost. We researched several companies on Angie's List and finally settled upon Ehrhardt Brothers, who sent us a plumber named Keith. Keith was not merely professional--he was patient in his explanations, he was reassuring about the severity of the problem, and he seemed genuinely sympathetic about our situation. He explained our options and offered his opinion, but ultimately allowed us to decide how and when to repair the issue. Moreover, the price that we ultimately paid was substantially less than we were originally quoted. Keith even stayed to talk to our insurance adjuster. He was awesome. Ultimately, we could not be happier with our experience. As long as we live in this area, we will never need to look for another plumber.

He quickly found the problem and took the time to explain the issue and how he was going to fix it and how much time he thought it would take. He was done within an hour and a half, had cleaned up and even did some caulking on older tiles really quick because I told him I was worried. Awesome service, awesome price. They came same day, within hours of my call and did a great job. I recommend this company to anyone!

Mike showed up in the morning to look everything over and emailed us an estimate later that day. The estimate was very competitive, and included three different prices based on the level of work required. The first quote was based on the leak being located at the connection to the county line, the second quote for a full pipe replacement by pulling new copper pipe through the old line, and the third quote for the case where the pulling method was unsuccessful. The vast number of positive reviews combined with the fact that the quote for the worst case scenario was still cheaper than the other estimates we received made our decision an easy one. Mike and his crew showed up on time, were efficient, courteous, and did a great job cleaning up. I would definitely recommend Ehrhardt Brothers Quality Plumbing for your future plumbing needs.

He was prompt, helpful. He got the shower part nearby, at the same time suggesting a lotion or soap pump to fill the hole left from the spigot removal. Got the part with a few different pumps select from. Installed them, and fixed the other item I no longer recall, other than to remember how much it annoyed me. Keith does all their repairs, and will be my go-to plumber in the future. Cost was the home visit price plus the parts (reasonable prices). And he congratulated my accumulation of issues so that I wisely used my 1 hour home visit fee.

I was removing the toilet and vanity cabinet in the master bedroom when I discovered that the hot water shutoff did not work. The toilet shutoff also had a small drip. I called Ehrhardt and got an appointment for 10-12 same day. I got a call around 11:40am explaining that the plumber was delayed at their previous job and that they would probably be arriving at my home around 1:30pm. They called again to let me know that Keith was on the way. Keith was very personable and explained exactly what he was doing, the choices he made, and also let me know the things I could probably handle on my own in the future. He fixed the shutoff valves and made sure to use a chrome-finished knob for the shutoff on the toilet.

When we realized our hot water heater was leaking, we called Ehrhardt right away. They were able to send Mike out the next day, first thing. He was professional, friendly, reasonably priced and truly a life-saver. He worked quickly and well, and knew exactly what to do to work through the unseen problems that arose with our out-of-code gas line and the fact that the new heater was bigger than the old. He gave us an Angie's List discount (there was a coupon) and was super friendly and trust-worthy. The price was very fair. I will use Ehrhardt for all of my plumbing needs going forward.

Someone from the company returned my call, a day after I called them. They called again, about two days before the plumber came, to determine what kind of faucet I had, what condition it was in, and what kind of faucet I wanted. The plumber arrived during the time frame I was told, did a quick inspection and told me what to expect. He performed the work quickly(in spite of the original faucet being quite old), finishing in about two hours. He offered me the first service call discount, before I asked. He was polite and friendly, and charged a fair price. I was very satisfied.

They were on time, hard working and very polite. The crew had a supervisor with them the entire job. They appeared to be interested in doing a good job - and they did. Wish they were all like Ehrhardt's.

My husband is pretty handy and tried to fix the slow drip coming from our bathtub faucet. However, it's a very unique faucet, and it turned out to be more than he bargained for. I called Ehrhardt Brothers at 1:00 PM Monday and spoke to the very pleasant Kathleen. She called Keith (who as luck would have it, was just finishing up another job not too far from me), and then she called back to let me know he was available to come over right away. By 2:15, the job was done! I am very happy, needless to say. Kathleen and Keith were both very nice and knowledgable. I would definitely use Ehrhardt Brothers again and recommend them wholeheartedly.

On Tuesday I made a appointment for Thursday morning at 10:00am. An hour before the appointment they call and cancel and can't reschedule till next week. I have a water leak and took off work and they cancel at the last minute. Based on the good reviews I still would have like them to come out and ask if they could come on Friday and they said no. I am not impressed with this company.

Unbelievable experience. I emailed them after finding listing on Angie's List. Heard back immediately and made appointment that was convenient for me. Office called the morning of appointment to tell me Keith was on his way. Keith arrived exactly at scheduled appointment (which i understand is really hard to do, and I was lucky, but still felt like my time was respected by office staff and Keith). Keith got right to the problem, explained what he found, replaced the parts, and reassembled the gas fireplace (that I had pulled apart in an effort to fix myself). I was thrilled with the cost (ok, would rather the darn thing not break at all, but...) and the complete professionalism of Keith, the company (office staff). Keith was polite, helpful, and certainly gave Ehrhardt Brothers a good first impression. I may sound over the top, but in over 25 years of being a homeowner and landlord with several rental properties, I have never found a plumbing company that I was comfortable with. This is a first for me.

My wife and I tried to remove a 17-year old mini widespread bathroom faucet and were unsuccessful. We called Erhardt Brothers and Keith came to the house. The old faucet was difficult to remove so he had to cut it off. He was careful not to damage the pedestal. He then installed a faucet that we supplied. He next fixed the master toilet which was not flushing properly. He installed a new fill valve, supply tube, and shut off valve. He also cleared the jet and rimholes in the toilet. Keith arrived on time and was very professional. It took him about 2 hours to complete the work.

The kitchen drain was backed up. I had removed the P-trap but was unable to locate the site of the blockage. Ehrhardt's scheduled around my frequent travel and at 7:30am on the dot, the plumber came in and got to work. By 7:50, he was cleaning up and testing the drain. Everything went without a hitch. It turns out there was a grease blockage in the pipe about 20 feet or so in from the p-trap (no way I could reach it). After he ran the snake, we ran the water and listened in the basement at the pipe - we heard the grease finally give way completely (sounded like gravel running through the pipe) and then the water ran cleanly. The cost was reasonable and I learned a couple things about how to prevent this kind of thing in the future.

At a few minutes before 8:00 I received a call that Keith was on his way. He was very punctual; came in took his shoes off (wood floors), assessed the situation, came back in with a fancy snake and within 5 minutes had the toilet unstopped. Also replaced the flap and bulb; tightened the seat and checked for leaks. Finished within 20-30 minutes. Very personable/friendly person. I would use Ehrhardt Brothers again and refer them to all my friends who need a plumber!

I was pleased to actually speak with a real person when I called. Today so many people have an answering service or a machine that it was nice to be able to convey my problem to a living, breathing person. I called on a Tuesday and they offered me an appointment the very next day. That did not work for me so they offered me the first appointment of the day on Thursday at 7:00am. Keith showed up at my front door at 6:59am. I know this was the first call of the day but it was nice to see that they were extremely punctual. This can't always be the case depending on what has happened at the previous job but this certainly set a good tone. Keith introduced himself and immediately took off his shoes (a big plus in my wife's books) I showed him the problem and he immediately got to work. He had to pull my toilet and then run his auger down the drain. Before starting work he prepped it with card board and throw cloths to ensure he kept the space as clean as possible. He cleared the clog in just a few minutes. While he was doing this he explained every thing that he was doing and why. Again, this impressed me. Once we wound the auger all the way back in he immediately took it outside to avoid letting the drain water start to drip. He even wiped the area around the toilet base before reinstalling the toilet. He left the place spotless, like he had never even been there. He was in and out the door in 1 hour, wow. I am sure there are some plumbers that would have turned this into a two hour job just to bill me more but not this company. I will absolutely recommend them to anyone. Terrific job!!

Everything went smoothly and efficiently. . He gave us a discount and charged a most reasonable $166.00 Who could complain? He was a gentleman and professional. He referred to the fact that he had been a plumber for several years and his pride in his field was impressive. He even referred to that larger drain machine in a way that I couldn't help kidding him whether he had baptized the machine. He hadn't. I would call that company back any day. After that garbage disposal problem followed by that nightmare Ravens football game ending I needed a great company to get things going again. I am so happy with the result.

It took a long time, but in the end they did the right thing.

The Samuel Heath shower is the "Antique" Victorian style model with an external thermostatic control. It is top of the line and to replace it with an identical new unit would cost $4,600. A year ago it started to malfunction and a two separate plumbing companies worked on it to no avail. To replace the shower with a standard American made unit would have required expensive tile work, so we persevered. In December, just before the arrival of 6 houseguests, four of them female, the shower stopped working completely. At this point we had spent in excess of $1,200 on plumbers and replacement parts, but we decided on one last try, and selected Ehrhardt Brothers from Angie's List based on the straight "A"'s. There first attempt in mid December made it clear that the previous plumbers had probably damaged the new thermo unit beyond repair. So we ordered another thermo unit from the UK and waited. In January the new unit arrived (another $600) and Keith from Ehrhardt had it installed and functioning perfectly in just over an hour and a half. I think the moral is this: just about any plumber can handle the easy jobs. Working on imported hardware where two previous plumbers have failed definately separates the men from the boys. Almost given up on a difficult plumbing job? Call Ehrhardt.
