+ -1 moreOur front hose bib has been disconnected for the 6 years that we've owned our house. I called to schedule an appointment to finally get it fixed, having no idea what sorts of problems to expect from our money pit of a house. Rob came out (early, might I add!), and quickly diagnosed the bigger problem - a broken pipe in the ceiling of the garage. Because, like most people, our garage is jammed floor to ceiling with camping and sports equipment, he scheduled a new time to come out after we had a chance to move all of our things out of the way. Fast forward a week, and Rob arrived on time, and had our hose bib and broken pipe fixed in less than 2 hours. He cleaned up everything, and was on his way. I am so excited to have a working hose bib out front, and even more excited to have found this awesome company who I will DEFINITELY be calling again for any future plumbing issues.

+ -1 moreI called Ehrhardt Brothers Plumbing the day I noticed the leak. They where very professional and nice and were able to come to our house within the next day. Mr. Ehrhardt was extremely friendly and walked me through our options and even told us what we could do ourselves to start fixing the problem. He was very knowledgeable and helpful, understanding that we preferred not to redo the whole tub area but fix the issues. He didn't charge me at all for the visit and advice and said to please call him back to help if needed once we started addressing the issue. We will definitely call him back if needed!
Description of Work: Mr. Ehrhardt evaluated a leak in our ceiling and took a look at the bathroom upstairs causing the leak. He ruled out possible areas that could be leaking and showed me potential areas of the bathtub where water could be coming from.

Rob asked us a couple question to try to understand the time line of the problem, where the leak began and timing relative to shower use etc. He found the problem quickly with minimal dry wall removal. He replaced the tub spout plus tightened packing nuts under another sink that started to leak. Rob was very professional.
Description of Work: replaced tub spout that caused a significant leak into the ceiling below.

He was also very respectful of our property and careful to make sure everything was left in good order. He did a great job on each repair! We will definitely use this company again for future plumbing needs!! Rob is a wonderful asset to Ehrhardt Plumbing!! We also felt their prices were very reasonable for the work performed.
Description of Work: Rob came and fixed the leak from our shower head pipe by installing a new Moen cartridge. He also replaced the flapper valve in our toilet. Then, he installed a new kitchen faucet and adjusted our water filter spigot, so that it didn't leak water anymore.

+ -1 moreOur 15 1/2 year-old hot water heater failed. I called Ehrhardt along with several other vendors. They gave us the best price and they were able to install it the next day which worked out really well for us. They removed the old hot water heater and installed a new one which was a little bigger than the old one. The price of hot water heaters has gone up considerably in 15 years because of new regulations. The work was done professionally and expeditiously. They ran out of solder near the very end but came back the next day as promised to finish the job. They also had to extend the exhaust pipe because we have put in a new larger deck. I'm glad Mr. Ehrhardt pointed this out. I would definitely recommend them.

+ -1 moreAll went well. I called and had an appointment set up. Rob arrived on time, looked at the issue we were having and explained what he could do. We had a shut off valve leaking that was also replaced along with the new hose bib. For the toilet he was able to adjust the water level which had been causing the random running of water. Rob was very helpful and kind.
Description of Work: We had to have a hose bib replaced. And I had a toilet looked at that had been running intermittently on its own.

Ever since the work was completed, the water pressure has greatly improved throughout the house. The second repair job was also excellent. Same type of professionatism, knowledge, and neatness was displayed. We cannot be happier and would definitely call Ehrhardt Bros. again for any future plumbing repairs.
Description of Work: We had Ehrhardt Bros. come out twice (5/20/15 & 5/2715) first to repair a corroded pipe and compression valve. We had to schedule a second appointment for a leaky spigot in our patio. The gentleman installed a better, nicer spigot and valve.

+ 0 moreI wasn't entirely sure where I was getting a leak when I called but the serviceman quickly identified it as coming from the hot water heater. He stopped the leak by turning off the current tank, and then arranged for the delivery of a new heater first thing the next morning. I had an Angie's list coupon, so the inspection was comp'ed, and the hot water heater and installation cost $950. The work was completed within an hour the next morning. All in all, I'm kicking myself for not being more knowledgeable, but the service guy was nice and quick and accomodating.

+ -1 moreFirst I was pleased that the plumber did not recommend work that was not truly needed. In fact, he did quite the opposite. I had many leaks in the copper pipe running through the garage to the outdoor spigots despite having bled them in the fall. I had decided to have the copper piping replaced but Rob explained that the grading resulted in water settling in the pipe instead of draining out of the spigot when I attempted to bleed them, so that replacing the pipes would not help. Instead he replaced and soldered the portions of the pipe that had split (five total). Second, another plumber had suggested I replace a pipe in my basement because of corrosion and that the pipe would soon leak/burst. Again, Rob said that he did not think that was necessary, and that the spots of green discoloration were actually where condensation had taken place when the pipes sweated. He advised me on what to watch for and at that time I should replace the pipe. He then looked at my kitchen and bathroom faucets and gave me an estimate of what repairs there would cost. Oh! and as regards punctuality, the plumber arrived early. I will definitely be calling them back soon

+ -1 moreWe received a phone call from our neighbors on Easter Sunday while we were out of town that there was water coming out of our back door and out of our garage. Once the fire department had come out to turn off the water, we found that the main had blown a fitting in our house below the shut-off valve. We called Ehrhardt plumbing and they were able to send someone out before noon that day. Rob showed up on time, and quickly identified the problem and what parts he would need. When he didn't have the correct part, he quickly ran to the store house, picked it up, and had it installed. All-in-all, they came in under estimate, and the quality of work was excellent. We would definitely use Ehrhardt again, and would willingly recommend them to anyone who asked!

Couldn't find the part myself, so had to rely on a plumber. Didn't figure I'd need to shop around and get estimates for a thermostat, but I should have.

+ -1 moreCleared everything out fast and very professional.. This firm is the Best and very honest. The customer service all the way around was superior. Thoughtful of their clients needs. They could easily tell me I needed big work, but they didn't.
Description of Work: I called them in for a second opinion. The upstairs toilet clogged and backed up downstairs. Another plumbing company was called in and snaked and put a camera down two clean outs. This other plumbing firm said I need to dig up my 50 feet of yard , tear out some driveway and sidewalk and replace all the pipes from the house to county connection. Thank goodness I called in Mike for a second opinion. Mike had done work for us before. They snaked everything with a blade on the end, took out some roots. He said that's all you need. The other firm wanted to charge $13000. It's like going to a surgeon, the first plumbing firm has the capability to do the heavy big work so that is how the solve problems ..surgeons like to cut , a general doctor says take some meds, rest. It's two approaches to a problem.

+ -1 moreI called the Ehrhardt Brothers phone # at 8 AM and Tracy gave us a noon appointment. Rob arrived at 11:30 - earlier than expected (which is a big plus in my book!!) Rob was very personable and professional. He was able to determine the problem and worked for nearly 3 hours to complete the job. The work area was cleaned up before giving us the bill. The amount charged was very reasonable considering the work completed and the time spent. I would whole- heartedly recommend this company to others and will definitely call them with future needs!
Description of Work: Rob replaced the shut off valve for the rear hose bib located in the basement ceiling. He also replaced the fill valve in the master bath toilet.
