Let me say up front, I was very pleased with the work. All employees were very professional. The roof was completed over a period of 3 days and they did an excellent job of cleaning up all debris. However once the shingles were removed I was advised that the roof decking needed to be replaced at an additional cost of $4,500. After inspecting the decking, I agreed it needed to be replaced. Right after the roof was completed the covered gutters were not draining properly. I mentioned this to Mr. Kelbie. he suggested I have the gutters cleaned out. I contacted the company, Thompson Creek, who installed the gutters five years ago with a lifetime warranty and they promptly came out ( free of charge) and cleaned the gutters of roofing debris and reconnected downspouts that had been pushed away during the roofing replacement. The gutter technician advised me that the roof was well done. I really like my new roof but would suggest to anyone who is considering replacing a roof to always get an estimate up front for the cost of replacing the roof decking in case this becomes necessary.

Service was good. Arrived on time. Paid the estimated cost. Would recommend.

We had a leak in our chimney and some problems with our roof. We called several places and were told it would be days before someone could even come to look at it to give us an estimate. Ed was able to come out the day that we called him, took pictures of the problem areas, gave us a recommendation on how to fix the water leak and completed the job the same day. He was very honest and did not try to sell us a new roof (which had been the case with a previous company). We will definitely use him again - and are so glad we found him.

All work was done in a professional manner on the roof. I am responding to an Angies list to rate the work. I had done this earlier, but it seems that I called them back for a leak into the garage ceiling. The crew tested the water and water was coming in from the side of the shingles on the dormer. This was hard to figure out and not specifically a roof problem. On 11/9/2012 the family room ceiling was wet so I called Kelbie to look at the roof. This time it was the chimney. They resealed the chimney pipe collars.

They provided excellent service. They are professional, responsive, and punctual. I would use them again in the future if needed.

The Architectural shingles look fantastic. I had a few problems from the prior roof work, and Kelbie home improvement addressed the problem. I can tell you that we are very pleased with the work and materials on the roof. Kelbie home improvement is certified with GAF, therefor I received a lifetime LTD warranty and labor and materials. I would recommend Kelbie Home Improvement to anyone needing roof work. It was the best bid taking into consideration price and quality. Nice work Mike.

They did a wonderful job with the roof. They performed the job in two days. Angie's List has been a tremendous help for me with finding the right people to work on the house.

Mr. Kelbie cleaned the gutters and provided gutter guard system for my parents. He was very professional and we are very happy with services and product supplied.

Ed promptly responded to my service request. He scheduled an appointment to inspect my roof the very next day and was flexible enough to come early in the morning before I went to work. He showed me exactly the work he was going to perform, the materials he would use, and he was extremely professional. We contracted to start the project 3 days later. The night before the work began I gave Ed a call and asked him if he could remove an old satellite dish that was sitting on the roof. He called me back soon after I left the message to let me know that it would be no problem. Ed sent me pictures of the process/progress and the work was complete within 4 days of my initial phone call. While he was not the lowest quoted price, Ed's knowledge and professionalism was worth every penny.

All I can say is WOW, Mr. Edward Kelbie is a true professional in every sense of the word. The weather has been bad and Ed called me almost every day to keep me informed if he could or could not do the job that day. Ed did an OUTSTANDING JOB, he is very professional, very prompt and his communication skills are excellent. Called when he said he would, Ed and his crew were very courteous. Job was done in a timely manor and they did a wonderful job cleaning up. I did not have to do anything. Would I hire him again, in a heartbeat!!!!!!!!! Would I recommend him, Yes. you will not be sorry.
