Ed was very thorough and left our 28 year old vinyl siding looking like new. All signs of the ugly "green stuff were gone. Deck is also nice and clean .

The house is over 20-years old and has had a professional external wash. Edward did an amazing job of getting all the stains and dirt that accumulated over the years. The brick is much brighter. He was very professional and personable. I highly recommend him.

Mike gave us all the options for the repair so that we could choose what worked best for the roof and for our wallet! He was patient and helpf, came on time, and did a good job. Mike is professional and really knows roofs!!

Edward Kelbie was very nice. He was on time. He worked with me on a convenient time for me to meet him. Unfortunately, his estimate was twice the cost of the other two estimates, so I decided not to hire them.

Ed did an outstanding job communicating the schedule for when the work would be done. They came out when they said they would and did an excellent job cleaning the gutters.

Mr. Kelbie arrived for the proposal as agreed, provided an estimate, agreed to a range of dates to perform the work (allowing for weather), and performed the work as agreed. Everything went just as expected. I recommend him and will contact him for services in the future.

Edward showed up on time and just a day after I called him about a roof leak at a rental property I own in Baltimore City. He quoted me a fair price, and said he could get to the job as soon as the snow melted and the roof was dry. On the day of the job he called and told me how the work went, and e-mailed me photos of the roof before and after the work was completed. He didn't even ask for any down payment or deposit. The work was done quickly and professionally, and Edward was pleasant and professional. I wouldn't have any issues at all with using him again or referring him to others.

Edward arrived on time (yippee!) and was extremely professional. We had spoken several time on the phone prior to his completing the painting job and each time he was helpful and friendly. Edward cleaned up all traces when he was done (even vacuumed the floor) and gave me a receipt for the work. He even worked within my timeframe for completing the job. My only complaint is that to repair small holes left by picture hanging nails, Edward used too much spackling paste. As a result, there are several places on the wall where you can tell patching has been done because the texture of the wall is smooth (where the spackling is) instead of slightly textured like the normal surface of a wall after painting. I wish he had used only a tiny amount of spackling to cover the nail holes or had sanded the spackling with course textured sandpaper prior to painting over it. Now I'll have to do that myself this weekend in order for those spots to thoroughly blend in with the rest of the wall. Overall, though - I would hire Edward again because he was punctual, professional, and very tidy.

When he came to do the estimate he went up to the roof and took pictures of the roof as a whole and problem areas. (I have a flat roof) He showed me how the coating was thinning and almost non existent in some areas. I suspected that it was the roof coating issue and his pictures and explanations confirmed that. He came on the day he scheduled, called me when he was there and sent me the "after" photos to show that it was done. He was very prompt and informative. I would call him again.

We contacted Mr. Kelbie through Angie's List. He e-mailed us within 24 hours to schedule the service, and scheduled it within one business day of my calling him back. He and his crew arrived on time, did a thorough job in a timely manner, and charged us half what we were charged when a different contractor performed the service last time. We will definitely be calling Mr. Kelbie again!

Ed was very punctual, and great to work with. He had great communication skills, and took the time to explain everything to us. I would do business with him again!

It went perfectly, he was nice and not pushy while he explain everything to me. he told me the price before he started and give me insight on what is to be done. I felt he did an excellent job. When I get my bills paid up I going to use him again. The job he did was neat, clean and well organized. I could relax and feel comfortable while he was working. One of my best experiences with a contractor. For initial estimate gave an exact time (instead of typical multi-hour window) and showed up on time. Very factual during all communications and not pushing to sell services that are not necessary. Following the quote, he left me with his card and said if I decided I wanted him to do the work to call. No pressure whatsoever. He additionally gave great information on what might need to be done over the next few years but was not time sensitive. Upon calling to schedule the service, he was very flexible on timing and showed up exactly when he said he would (again, not a window but an actual time). While I do not know a lot about roofing, the fixes look as though they were done quite well and one of the major issues (pooling water falling on stairs in front of the house) has been dramatically improved. Ed is easy to work with, friendly, and very responsive. I highly recommend him.

We used Edward Kelbie Home Improvements on 2 different occasions in September 2013. Our apologies to Mr. Kelbie for the late feedback. The first time we called the Company to clean black stains from the roof. During that visit, we also had several pipes on the roof painted, the vents and flashing resealed and several areas (i.e. front walkway) power washed. He and another employee completed the work. It was reasonably priced and well done. Additionally, it was a pleasure working with Mr. Kelbie. He was professional and courteous at all times as well as responsive to our questions and flexible when working out the particulars of the job. We were so satisfied that we engaged the Company to do additional work for us. This time, we had portions of the brick on our house cleaned. Both jobs were completed in a timely manner with the work starting when promised. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with Mr. Kelbie?s work and would definitely use him for future projects. We would also highly recommend him to anyone needing home improvement work.

We'd had roofing, chimney and gutter experts out to our home to remediate a water leak associated with our master bedroom fireplace. None of them made any headway on the problem. In desperation, we called Mr. Kelbie, because he advertised expertise in all three areas. We arranged a date and time for him to come to our home to check it out. Due to factors beyond his control, he was unable to make the first appointment; however, he called promptly to let us know. When he arrived, he explained what he planned to do and how much it would cost. He performed the diagnosis and explained what he found, illustrating with photos. He told us what he believed was the best course of action and what it would cost. His approach was to minimize our expenses by fixing the obvious problem and seeing how it worked rather than charging us for a major effort that might not be needed. When he returned to do the work, he was prompt and got the job done in a timely manner. He explained what he had done, then cleaned up properly. A few days later, we had heavy rains, and not a drop came through to the stone around the fireplace. His work made a big difference. Thank you, Mr. Kelbie!

They came to inspect my roof on the day I called about the leak and fixed it that day as well. I plan to use them again, with no hesitations. They also were extremely nice and personable and seemed very honest and down to earth.

Ed is great. He is very respectful, responsive, and does quality work. I first used him for exterior painting, since I saw that he did a good job with a neighbor's house, and they highly recommended him. The paint job was excellent. He made great suggestions on what color to use for my porch floor, given the color selection I made for the house and trim. They were fast but detail-oriented, and it was finished in less than 2 days. About a month later, I used Ed for roof repairs. He took pictures of weaknesses in my roof and showed them to me, pointing out why aluminum covering is the best way to go. He was able to start the work immediately after giving me the quote. I could have shopped around, but I knew that I could trust Ed and that he wasn't jerking me around on the price.

Ed Kelbie was wonderful to work with. He identified and corrected a problem with my gutter drainage. He also did a wonderful job painting the exterior of my house. He was prompt, punctual, and courteous! I would definitely hire him again!
