When I first met with the owner I felt that I was getting a very professional detail orientated company. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that there was a female on the crew. I felt that she would have paid more attention to the small details; taping, cleaning up etc. The job ran over time and she did not return the next day to complete the job with the original crew. I had paint on my carpet and other areas that were not covered with tape, areas where the original color was still showing through, dents and scratches not completely filled in etc. It took three phone calls and four months to get a response/remedy.

The painter did a fantastic job. He was such a nice guy, listened to our preferences and completed everything as requested. We had engaged his services for 8 hours and we really got our money's worth. We will definitely use Definition Painting again. My only regret is that we didn't write down the painters name since we were so happy with him and the work he did. Very nice job!

Great!! They did this in 2 days...8 hour days. Very hard workers. There were only 2 of them. Very professional and polite. Owner was as well. Looks better than we ever could have imagined. We will definitely call them for our next paint/drywall job.

The cost was very reasonable. The work turned out very well. They were meticulous with the job. They were very professional. They got to our home early and they were at our home until 6:30 PM that night. The work was just done perfectly. Everything was done according to what the owner said. They did the two coats that they said they would do.

The great thing is that their response was terrific. They called me right away, apologized, and came back two days later to finish the painting. It was inconvenient, but that was a professional response. I'd use them again, and I'll be sure to be very specific.

They were neat and their work was excellent. Cleaned up after themselves. Came on time. They did so much prep work to the walls, they look brand new.

When they came to measure and quote the job, they were very professional, efficient and helpful. They offered their account at Sherwin Williams for a discount on my paint purchase. When they arrived to perform the work, they were right on time. The painter was very professional and did a great job covering floors and items left in the room to ensure they did not get paint on them. Job finished right on time! Results are beautiful! I would absolutely call again for additional painting. Job well done!

never confirmed a time they would be arriving. Painters showed up and were very friendly. seemed to spend too much time prepping walls and not enough time painting. overall did an ok job. They did not finish what I wanted to have painted so asked if they could come back. They telephoned their boss who is the owner and gave me a date. They never showed up on that date or called me.

Cost of service includes $499 Angie's List Deal plus $270 for 6 hours additional work (we were told it would take 2-3 hours to finish). Painters were slow and baseboards in game room and bathroom mirror and fixtures needed cleaning when they were done. It didn't help that painters spoke only broken English. Satisfied with completed job, but experience could have been better. We provided all materials, so I do not think this was much of a bargain.

My job could not be scheduled until 3-4 weeks after I made the purchase. I will know in the future to ask about scheduling prior to my purchase. It was very challenging communicating with the main office. I did not get a final response on what supplies to provide until the night before the work. Fortunately, the crew had all the supplies on hand when they arrived.

Painted entire house. Covered hardwood floors with taped down brown paper. Covered and protected all items. Dedicated and courteous workers.

The cost was $350, but he took a $100 off because originally they were scheduled twice and they had to cancel both times. It took three tries for them to actually show up. I can't say that it is an outstanding job. If you are not going to show up, just call people and let them know that you overbooked. I shouldn't have to call them and asked where they were.

They do not service my area so I was able to get a refund.

The painters were extremely polite, punctual and professional. I had done the majority of spackling and sanding, but after applying the third round of spackle, I did not get to the final sanding. The men sanded and plastered a large crack in the ceiling over my stairs that was unreachable for me. They painted 2 coats on ceilings and walls, then vacuumed after they were finished. I was extremely satisfied.

The were on time did a good job. The caveat is it is not 3 rooms . They paint by square footage so I just got my living/dining area painted. I was disappointed about that and will be sure to read the fine print next time.

Though we had trouble finding a mutually acceptable date for the work to be done,(and I had trouble getting in touch with Joel to confirm the start day and time) when Leonel and his team (4 people the first day, 3 the next, and 4 on the last day) arrived, they went right to work and worked tirelessly. Not only did they move furniture, they did a fine job of preparing the walls and ceiling for painting. We provided the paint, told Leonel what was to be painted what color and they did a fine job well. (Joel did call to make sure the work was going well.) Leonel and his team were respectful of our property, cleaned up after each day's work and were able to do the outside painting on the last day when the temperature allowed. (My only quibble was that the outside clean up was not very thorough but it was more or less understandable as it was getting dark.) If ever I do a painting project again, this will be the team I will request.

They sent me an email saying they did not service my area. I wish they would have been more clear about the radius, but I appreciated him contacting me right away.

I used an Angie's list deal for three rooms for $450.00. The provider missed the appointment to give me an estimate. He said something came up he had an incorrect number for me from Angie's list. He made the second appointment. My rooms total including ceilings was larger than the deal so he estimated the additional cost. I accepted it and we scheduled a date for the work to be performed. He wrote how much paint to buy, including ceiling paint, for each room on the contract. On the scheduled date, no one showed up. I left messages but heard nothing. The next day I recieved a call from the provider saying something came up and he was unable to do the work as scheduled and was unable to call to let me know. We rescheduled. Two painters showed up on the rescheduled date. They told me that the ceilings were not included. I didn't understand why the provider would tell me how much ceiling paint to buy if it was not included. But the painters insisted that the ceilings were not included and I would have to pay extra if I wanted them painted. The provider had given me a discount to make up for missing the first scheduled date but it didn't cover the extra I had to pay for the ceilings. I paid the extra. The painters asked me for trim paint to cover up their overpainting on the woodwork, which was not to be painted. They still left a lot of wall color on the woodwork and vinyl windows. I had to clean it up. It took even more time because there was a miscommunication about which room was which color so I had two colors in each bedroom to clean up. I bought a special product at the paint store to clean the vinyl window overpainting. I repainted the window sills myself. At least it is done now and with the colors I selected the rooms look very good. A special note... I used Sherwin Williams paint. The provider said I could use his account and get a discount, which the store confirmed, and it was on builder quality paint. I got better paint for a lower price buying it on sale. I think there are frequent sales at 35% to 40% off.

they were prompt and painted and patched drywall. there was some confusion with the trimwork as i did not need it painted and they needed touch up paint but they had some and were able to remedy that immediately. they cleaned up and were very efficient.

I purchased the Big Deal for dry wall repair in our bathroom. The coupon did state that materials needed to be provided by the owner, although I assumed this referred to the paint supplies. I do not have a vehicle or manpower needed to purchase drywall on my own, so I will need to find a company who includes this in the cost. Communication with the company was a bit slow, and they were not willing to work out any other arrangements, so I needed to cancel this purchase. I will seek another company on Angie's List, however!

We didn't read fine print that states that the work did not involve the kind of plaster repair we needed. We were able to talk to the contractor who was in contact with us. They did what they said they would do.

There was a scheduling snafu that led to them not being able to come out on the day we'd agreed on. Owner called and told me as soon as he was aware (730 am on the day they were due to come out.) We rescheduled and they arrived on time the new day. His staff competently painted and cleaned up. The paint looks good, they did a nice job.

Due to a glitch in scheduling - the painters did not show up on time. After a quick phone call, they sent two painters instead of one within the hour. The two gentlemen were very professional, got straight to work, and had the job completed on time. They did a great job. My wife and I couldn't be happier.
