We've used this company two other times, and their work is excellent. The owner responds quickly and all scheduling was handled easily with the main office. The workers are all very professional. Their work is well done and they clean up carefully when they finish. We had to have them come back because we had new back splash installed after the painting. Re-scheduling was not difficult and they solved a problem with the caulking that the back splash company couldn't solve. We are very pleased with the results.

Excellent! They did detailed prep work and an amazing paint job. Victor and his crew were professional, efficient, and friendly. Better than any other painters we have used. They even came back later to fix a few minor issues. Thank you Joel and family for eliminating our anxiety.

This has got to be one of the most professional companies I have ever had the pleasure to work with. From the time I made my consultation appointment to the completion of the work, it has been a great experience. The office staff was very pleasant and followed up throughout the process. The team of workers that worked on my home were always on time, very polite, answered all my questions, made sure to cover all surfaces, and always cleaned up after each day. After the work was completed, the foreman walked through the home with me and explained everything that was done. I am in the process of selling my home and it looks brand new! I would definitely hire them again will be recommending to family and friends!

The crew that came was efficient and finished the indoors work quicker than expected. Paint looks good overall. There was some miscommunication and a vent cover was thrown away. I planned on replacing it anyway, so it wasn't a huge deal. Outdoors work took a while to complete due to poor weather. Retention wall was not as tall as initially planned, but got some money back as a result. Drain wasn't buried very deep and no new soil or seed was put down (but it wasn't part of the contract).

They painted the house after it was built by a production builder (with a thin sprayed on paint job), but before we moved into the house. The workers were careful and clean. They did an excellent job of covering surfaces and ensuring that paint didn't get on tha carpet or floors. The paint job looked great and was completed on schedule. I can easily recommend this company.

It stared out well in terms of removing the paper. They allocated one week and it took a long time to remove the paper, towed the end they were in a rush. The painting was done hurriedly and not good. They weren't using skilled people. The paint job was fair and didn't meet my standards. When you hire a painter you expect them to be better then you. I complained and they weren't interested in listening to me. The foreman on the job came back and touched things up himself and probably lost a day from that. I think they need to be more honest in what they're doing. Its partly my fault we went for low cost and we got what we paid for.

Fantastic! The men were on time everyday, professional, worked 9 hour days to compete the job correctly. They had to remove insulation, put up drywall, prime and paint all surfaces. Excellent work and I will hire them again,definitely, when I need another room done!23

Jimmy from Definition painting and crew did a fantastic job! I could not be more happy with the results! We needed an additional coat of paint because we had darker color's on the wall prior.

it went very well. They had asked that we take everything down from the walls and put all the furniture in the center of the rooms prior to their arrival which I felt was reasonable. Once here Jimmy and his crew covered all the furniture with plastic, paint tarps on the carpeted floors and taped up all the wood floors with heavy brown paper. They were supposed to arrive but the day they were scheduled to arrive we had several inches of snow and Icy conditions.... Joel, the man that I had originally met and who gave me the estimate called to say they just couldn't make it. They were their promptly the next morning. Did all the repairs needed, patched the walls and repaired all the nail pops. As with any project there are a couple touch ups that need to be done and they are very accommodating in making arrangements for one of their crew chiefs, Jimmy, to come out to the house and finish that off. Not only was the entire crew professional & courteous, we felt comfortable having them in our house. Because they had started late because of the snow, they stayed to almost 9:00 PM on that Friday to finish everything up. We are really pleased with the work they did and have no reservations recommending them.

I spoke to a very polite lady who answered all my questions and scheduled a company employee to come to my home to complete an estimate. I arranged my work schedule around this appointment but NO ONE showed up. Even worse, no one has responded to my phone message since then. Not a great way to sustain a business!

It was good. They were easy to work with. The workers were good. They were on time every day and cleaned up after themselves. They did a really good job.

The crew was excellent. They were on punctual, professional, responsive and very accommodating when adjustments needed to be made. I was very impressed with the finished job!

Owner claimed i sent a threatening message which i posted to everyone here, and yet he still replied to the review that i sent a threatening message. clearly someone who is trying to excuse their unprofessionalism. and he said look at our other reviews, which included 30 F reviews!!

very lousy experience, i got an estimate which i thought was a bit high so i replied asking to reconsider. next called to speak to Karyn who sent the estimate, was told she was out. i left a message for her to call me back, never got a call back. called about 10 times in the afternoon no one picked up the phone, so i called the gent who came to my house and he advised me to call Joel the owner. i called him twice and left a message, never got a call back. called office again next morning, no answer, sent a text to Joel the owner about how i am having a lousy experience getting through to anyone, i got a text back saying that my email was threatening and thats why they chose not to reply to me, and asked me to contact them again!!! below is the email he claims was threatening!!!: "Hi After discussing with your gentleman who came to the house I was really expecting something more reasonable considering that my house is new, no prepping, repairing or moving furniture is needed. The house is new and empty which will make it lot easier for you to do the work. The reason I contacted you was after seeing one of your offers on Angie's list which is for a whole house up to 2500 sf including premium paint for only $1899, and I thought that should cover my requirement and your guy confirmed that the area to cover in my house is not more than 2500 sf and I am paying for the paint . I don't think you took any of the above into consideration . I would ask to you kindly review your offer and give me something more attractive , similar to what you have on Angie's list (which I am a member) and I would commit immediately . I had three vendors I found on Angie's List come to my house for on-site quotes. Definition was cheapest by far. Cheaper doesn't always mean better, but based on reviews, I decided to go forward with Definition. I was very impressed with the service. Three painters arrived and performed the work over two days. They were meticulous about prep, and helped me move furniture both before and after the job. The attention to detail was good. I found a few spots that needed touch up at the end and they were quick to fix it. I'll use them again for future projects. Based on the value and the quality of the work, I would recommend this company.

Joel Alvarez, the owner, came to evaluate the job and was professional and very helpful with his advice and suggestions. Shortly after our meeting he submitted an itemized proposal for the work. Selecting a color for an exterior paint job is never easy but Definition Painting has a good working relationship with our local Benjamin Moore and Steve, who worked with us couldn't have been more helpful or patient when we kept changing our minds. The interior painting and the carpentry work was completed in a timely manner. Through no fault of the provider, it was difficult to schedule the exterior painting due to the frequent periods of rain as well as our own travel plans. However, when the work was begun, we couldn't have been more pleased with the quality of both the work and the painters. Mr. Alvarez sent a crew of four painters, with one man who was the crew leader and who both supervised the work and painted. Mr. Alvarez was on site at the beginning of the job to answer any questions that we might have had. The crew worked like a well oiled machine. They were extremely tidy, polite, and worked steadily and efficiently through both heat and periodic thunderstorms. They had a cheerful demeanor with both each other and us. They were supposed to complete the job in three days, but because they worked extra hours, starting early and ending late, they finished the work on the evening of the second day. I wish I had had a camera handy because all four of them were covered from head to foot in brown paint, and yet not a spot was anywhere but on them (and the house, of course). Our house looks lovely and both my husband and I were happy with the whole process. Definition Painting is a family owned and run busines. Mrs Alvarez efficiently manages the phone and many of the painters are family members and friends with whom Mr. Alvarez has worked for many years. All this creates a quality business that makes Definition a pleasure to work with. I will certainly be using them again for both painting and other home repairs and renovations.

It went very well. They showed up (always a question), they did an excellent job. They were a pleasure to deal with. I wish they might have spent a few more minutes on cleanup, but it wasn't any big thing. Just some little stuff.
