Very good work -- hard working, efficient, very polite. Recommended to my parents. Note that the deals clearly spell out what is covered and what isn't covered. I read the fine print, so there weren't any surprises. Good staff.

The crew that came was excellent. They worked very hard and stayed til past dark to finish the job, all in one day. I was impressed with them and pleased with the quality of the work they did.

The workman arrived on time on the day of service. He was considerate and worked diligently and professionally on the repair and we are very satisfied with the performance and value.

Overall, I was happy with the service. All three rooms look great. The painter, Roger, did a wonderful job.

I think they did a really good job considering the nature of the project. They did fine. The price is fine too. There’s just a little bit of a snag in trying to schedule but that was it. They were pretty good.

We purchased the Big Deal with Definition Painting Services to paint three rooms. I took some time to set the date, but that was due to mutual scheduling conflicts. Joel, the owner, came out and provided an estimate and informed us that the offer we purchased was limited up to 500SF, which only covered two rooms, not three. Our fault for not reading the deal closely...but, we were fine with that disclosure. Joel offered to paint additional rooms at the same rate. On the day of the job, the two-man crew arrive punctually. They prepped the space with drop cloths and got promptly to work. As an amateur, I'm used to taping off the edges and covering up the areas not being painted. But these guys did not need any such crutch. They cut in the edges without marking up the trim at all. I was impressed. 3 1/2 hours and two coats later, they were finished. The quality of the job was excellent. The paint was smooth and even. The crew was professional, diligent and fast. We wouldn't hesitate to use Definition Painting Services again.

We have used this company twice before and have been extremely satisfied in the past. Once again - the service was excellent and the final look was great. However the crew that performed the work this time (not the same as the previous jobs) did not do a very good job of cleaning up. We had paint on the door handle of our front door, they tracked paint onto the wood floor of our foyer, and they splattered paint on several spots of our carpet in the basement. We plan on using the company again because we like the company and their work. The owner is very responsive and easy to work with, so we will just let him know what happened the next time before the work starts.

I just never heard from him again after that. I am requesting a refund.

It was a basic paint everything white job. They were professional, cleaned the area, and overall I was pleased with their work.

Although the ad advertised 3 rooms for $450, we were not able to get 3 rooms painted due to the size of the rooms. Our house is not overly large, and neither are the rooms in it, so I felt the ad was very misleading. As I mentioned above, we had two rooms painted and they did a fair job. I was not overly impressed and I wish I would have known before purchasing the deal that they would not do the number of rooms advertised. Even if it would not have made a difference in whether or not I used them, I would have liked to know in advance of purchasing the deal.

Arrived on time. Covered floors to keep clean from any splashes. Applied the paint we supplied (required) and applied 2 coats before leaving. He repaired a few minor nail holes. Was very efficient and skilled at his work. Would definitely use this company again and recommend to others.

Two workers arrived on time (9 am) and went right to work. One of the workers was obviously an assistant to the main painter. They were conscious of protecting our floors with plastic and were respectful when entering and leaving our house. The job was a big job and only one day was planned. The two worked hard all day and didn't finish until8:30 at night. Because the job was a big one and only one day was planned, I think they rushed a bit and some touch ups were needed. They were very polite and really did a good job. I would use them again.

The walls look fine but the line at the top is uneven. There are some areas where you can see the roller marks. They removed the hand rails on our stairs and when they replaced them they were very loose. They were very friendly and courteous and cleaned up after the work very well.

They ended up painting a total of 5 rooms with the 2 Big Deals we purchased. They did an excellent job with the painting, ceiling and trim were not included, but the additional cost was very reasonable. It seemed to be a family owned business, and they were very trustworthy and efficient. They didn't make any kind of mess, and worked as long as it took, seemingly with no breaks, and finished in just 2 days.

Punctuality and professionalism were an early and persistent problem with Definition Painting Services (DPS). The two painters did not show up during the scheduled window on the agreed day; they also did not contact me to let me know they would miss the appointment. I missed a morning of work for nothing. DPS ownder Joel was apologetic and arranged for them to come back a few days later on a weekend, even though DPS does not normally do jobs on weekends, he explained. The painters returned on the weekend day and did a thorough but not spotless job. They primed the walls where necessary and painted the walls as agreed, accomplishing more in one day than nonprofessionals could have. Given my satisfaction with this second experience, I agreed to bring them back to finish the job at DPS's normal hourly rate. The punctuality and professionalism problem reappeared when they were supposed to return to finish the job. Again they failed to show up, and they failed to let me know that they were not coming. This despite having my email address and phone number. I was able to reach neither the painters nor Joel at DPS to resolve the problem. I was pleased enough with the services they did provide when they showed up, but the unreliability is a major concern for anyone considering DPS for jobs in the future.

The painters did an ok job with the painting, but there was hardly any feedback on the work or how long it would take to complete the job.

Definition Painting did a wonderful job, as always. They completed the job in one day. They cleaned up so well that the only way we knew they had been here painting was the new color on the walls.

They repaired drywall in my garage -- holes were made by new insulation. Work was done quickly and professionally. They left the space clean and neat.

By earlier agreement, we provided paint. Two painters came on schedule, moved furniture and protected floor. Paint covered walls and ceiling beautifully. Workmanship was careful and well done. Clean up was excellent, except they didn't replace the shade on the ceiling fixture (it was easy for me to do).
