I purchased a deal for 3 rooms painted. Joel, the owner, followed up promptly and arranged for a consultation. The cost was a bit higher than I had calculated. The wording of the deal was a bit confusing, but the price seemed reasonable still. I agreed to have additional rooms painted at the same rate. Joel let me know how much paint would be needed. He said his crew would do all the prep work (smoothing out any nail pops, minor repairs, etc.). We agreed on a minor charge for a couple of slightly damaged spots. He said they might need 1.5 days but would try to get it done in one day. The team arrived on time on the scheduled day. They were professional and went right to work. They finished the job in a single day and even stayed a bit later than they needed to to make sure a water-damaged corner in one room was properly repaired. Joel did a final walk-through and found a spot that they had missed. We probably wouldn't have even realized it wasn't painted, but he caught it and made sure it was painted. Joel was a pleasure to deal with and was very complimentary of my wife's choice of colors. The rooms turned out great, and the team left everything clean. I expect to have them paint our remaining rooms once we decide on colors.

For the big deal from Definition Painting Services, Inc., Actually they were great. They came out on the 13th of March. There were no additional charges, we used the coupon. We have a 20 foot foyer and stairwell and they were able to get it painted and the ceiling painted for us. The price was great. They did a great job. They were great for the responsiveness, they emailed us back and forth and they were here when they were supposed to be. For the punctuality they were 10 minutes early. They were very nice. I would use their service in the future.

I purchased a 3-room painting deal for a rental property, but then decided to use it to repaint some areas in my own house that needed repainting after some repairs. I don't remember the owner's name, but he was very responsive, came and did the work himself, and was very accommodating of what I needed done, since it was a number of walls/areas in different rooms, rather than just simply three defined rooms.

They were very nice and professional. They answered any questions that we had. Unfortunately, they are booked past the time that I needed the service completed in, so I have requested a refund from Angie's List though this is due to no fault of the company.

They were really nice. I had a bigger space than allotted so I had to get an additional hour and another person. They were very timely and neat.

Lionel did a fabulous job painting our living room powder room, stairway trim, foyer door, bathroom door inside and outside, all trim in rooms, and ceilings. We would definitely hire him again.

The gentleman showed up when promised. He took wallpaper down in my hallway for $99.00 and it cost another $55.00 when the two hours was up, in order to prime. That was fine, because it was stated in the contract that if it didn't get done in 2 hours there would be an extra charge.. Looked pretty good before he left, but after he left and I looked it over and the job did not deserve an "A" rating. There were places where the wallpaper was not removed and I don't think he got the clue off good. Now I will have to sand it down and paint it. I knew I would have to paint it, but didn't know it would be this rough after being primed.

The painters did an excellent job. Showed up on time and started as soon as they stepped in the door. They worked hard to get the areas I needed painted within the 8 hours. They also moved my furniture and cleaned up afterward.

Definition painters were GREAT! The were very efficient and cleaned up. I could not be happier!

They came out promptly, worked in a timely manner, and did exactly what was asked. No hassles at alll. Very courteous.

Was impressed with the painter's efficiency and attention to detail. I ended up purchasing a additional hour to get the job completed as much as was possible and the painter worked uninterrupted the entire time he was on the job.

We paid for extra time to finish the job because 2-3 hours was not enough. He did a good job and cleaned up after. You couldn't tell that any painting was done in the house. Our biggest problem has been that they don't show up at the time they say they will.

We are going to apply those fees toward another package. I will hire a service that does my area.

Joel was very punctual for our consultation and provided great ideas on what colors would work for our open-concept kitchen/den. He listened to what my husband and I like in terms of colors, and considered the layout of the rooms as well as the colors of our wood-grained cabinets and counter tops. Joel explained what was covered by the coupon I was using and what wasn't (there were no surprises here - I had read the fine print), but he didn't use the hard sell to try to upsell other additional services, like painting the ceiling, trim or baseboards. The painter that showed up to do the work (sorry I don't remember his name!) was prompt and did a great job. My husband was somewhat skeptical of the color before it went on the walls - he thought it might be too dark, but he ended up loving it so much that he wants to paint the rest of the house the same color! We'll definitely be keeping an eye out for more deals from Definition Painting Services to take care of other painting jobs around the house.

Went OK. Drywall not finished perfectly in corners of room. Should have put plastic over the door before sanding drywall. But results were otherwise OK..

First to be shared with you is the professional manner with which Wilder Erazo, foreman of the painting crew, and his crew conducted themselves at all times throughout the job. Wilder provided us with ongoing information about what they would be doing, within what time frame each part of our home would be completed, the change in paint brand because the agreed upon brand could not provide the color needed to match our home, along with answering any and all questions asked of him by my husband and I. He was also immediately responsive to us regarding any concerns we had about the work being done. Our home and its contents were supremely protected throughout the painting. Because we are on well water the painting utensils were transported off of our property to be cleaned elsewhere each and every day they painted at our home. We could not be any more pleased with the quality of the services we received from Definition Painting. In addition to the above, we were using alternate entrances to come and go other than the mainone we use so as to not get in the way of the work or disturb the drop cloths on the floors. The men were patching and sanding, so the noise of the shop vacuum cleaning up the dust and debris could be heard throughout the house. A severe winter storm had just come the day before leaving near zero temperatures along with snow and icy surfaces everywhere. I went outdoors without a coat on to our brick porch planning to reenter the home through another entrance. I started to test the top of the step to see how icy it was when my feet just flew out from underneath me. I was airborne imeediately flying down brick steps off a 5 foot high porch. Then I hit the frozen snowy ground with a terrible bang. My lower back, then my head hit the ground and I felt sharp pain going up through my left back and hip area. As I lay there I began to yell help over and over again. No one was around in our neighbors' yard and all you could hear was the sound of the shop vacuum from inside. So I crawled on my hands and knees in the snow and slid the door open. I began to yell help to the men in the dining room. They yelled for Wilder and he was at my side helping me immediately. He got the phone so I could call family for help, he chekced my neighbors' cars to see if they were home, he went into the garden and found my glasses on the ground and then cleaned them for me. At this point Wilder was more concerned about my welfare and decided to run next door to find someone to help. He found my next door neighbor at home. She came over immediately and called an ambulance for me to be transported to the hospital evaluation. Then she spoke with my husband and he told her he would meet the ambulance at the hospital. The crewmen at my instruction, continued to work and when they left they made sure they cleaned up completely behind themselves, then Wilder secured and locked up our home for us. Wilder did all of this outside of his job description to help a person in need and should be recognized for his humanity and response on my behalf during this emergency. Thank you again, Wilder. I am so thankful for everything you did to help me!

Jimmy arrived on time and was pleasant. He knew exactly what he was doing and did it reasonably quickly. (I had bought three hours of his time.) It was quality work. No mess or drips. He cleaned up after himself. It's amazing how such a little thing really makes the rooms look so much better. I am very pleased.

It was pretty good. I would use them again.

The job went extremely well. The contractor arrived on time and completed the job without problems or concerns. I would definitely recommend and use this contractor again.
