Definition Painting Services, Inc. is a small, family owned & operated business located in Howard County, MD. We employ more than 15 + professional staff members. The owner is our estimator and general manager. Though our foreman run the crews, Joel is available on a daily basis to ensure complete customer satisfaction. We only use high quality products, and are certified in lead paint removal. We accept checks and Visa/MasterCard.

Services we don't offer

We do not offer wallpaper hanging, faux paint, or strip paint off of brick surfaces.

I thank this member for his comments, however, I never received contact from him so I cannot properly respond. I know sometimes it takes me days to respond, especially via email, since I'm a small business out and about. I'm not on the computer all the time, as I'm often on the work. So that is true, but I always get back to people one way or another. Thanks for your time.

Description of Work: Service provider responded 3 days after my email for an exterior painter appointment. They responded "the Angie's List representative wrote the deal incorrectly. It is only for an interior painter."

It went perfectly!
Description of Work: As always, the crew showed absolute professionalism! My walls are beautiful! No mess or splatters left. Furniture moved and put back into place gently. I had two bedrooms and two bathrooms painted. We all know bathrooms are quite challenging, yet Definition crew made it look like child's play. I will always hire Definition for painting projects.

Description of Work: I bought a $450 Angie's list deal for two painters for a day. They showed up on time, worked the whole day, and painted more of the house than I thought they'd be able to. The quality of the work was great.

Description of Work: Owner had to reschedule estimate when his time & distance calculations were off, but he compensated by bringing his BEST guy to paint 3.5 rooms (~1,500 sq. ft., including all trim) in one day! Of all the professional services that I have used in about 15 years, this crew was polite, respectful, and attentive to detail. Not only did two more guys show up later to finish the trim, lines are neat and clean with no rework required. I recommend this crew to anyone, and will keep them in mind for future work. "Thank you" for a job well done.

In response to this report...we simply do not give estimates over the phone. We try to give a rough idea about prices over the phone, but we always like to see the job in person because it's the fair thing to do. There are so many elements involved in any one job, that no two jobs are alike. Therefore, in order to give the most accurate estimate, we need to see it in person. But, thank you for the report. We are always trying to find ways to improve.
