Crystal Exteriors just completed a siding job for my house, a 1989 colonial construction originally with aluminum siding. The entire process was seamless and entirely pleasant and uneventful. Jason the co-owner was professional and informative and stay in contact throughout the job from proposal to completion. The crew was extraordinary and I was able to easily monitor the work and discuss minor issues as they arose and see every one resolved without delay. The price was entirely competitive, received some 4 bids for the job and accepted this bid based on my confidence in this company as well as the price. This turned out to be without doubt the BEST experience I have ever had with a contractor and at 73, i have dealt with plenty over the years. Highly recommend!

In one word, Crystal Exteriors roof and gutter replacement was “Simple”. I was dreading the entire process of finding a roof contractor. Crystal Exteriors made the entire process and decision easy. They were prompt, on budget, completed the roof replacement in one day, gutters in 3 hours, cleanup was excellent and communication was superb. We contracted with Crystal Exteriors for the replacement of our roof. Having completed other projects with them in the recent past, it was really a no-brainer to ask them to give us a recommendation. I called Jason to ask him to come by for an estimate, but a visit wasn’t even necessary. We had an estimate that very same evening for a new roof with every possible material and contingency, and options ridge vents, pipe flashing, and chimney flashing, as well as additional costs for roofing plywood, if needed. We received an estimated installation window, even with the current shortage of construction materials. As it turned out, we later received a call from Jason to let us know that they could start a few days early. On the day for the installation, the crew showed up on time, with materials, and prepared to get started. Working expeditiously, they removed the old roof, install our new roof, cleaned-up every nail and last piece of debris all in one day. We had the roof on this house replaced 25+ years ago. The previous roofer did a good job, but it took them 2 days to complete. Their invoicing, scheduling, and administrative back office all work in tandem to keep you informed and to set clear expectations on scope, materials, and costs. We had a great experience with Crystal Exteriors as our contractor for our new roof, and after having had such great experiences with this and previous projects, we’ve become customers for life.

We enthusiastically recommend this hardworking team. To start, Edgar Li's and Jason Lim's attention to detail, clear and patient explanations and fair pricing impressed us. We live in VA and were at first inclined to go with a VA contractor more out of habit than anything. We saw a very positive review for Crystal on Nextdoor and contacted them as well as two others. Crystal Exteriors stood out for their knowledge (well-explained opinions and observations based on facts and experience) and timely and clear communication and pricing breakdown via email, phone calls and safe-outdoor visits as we navigated the proposal details. They replaced the roof (flat roof (50 years old) and slanting roof (25 yrs old)), siding (original), and windows (single pane original) and gutters on our 1950 brick rambler. The workers kept the area clean and answered all questions and concerns, particularly Jamie who oversaw the siding and windows installation. A remarkable transformation not only on the look but on the very real energy savings.

Edgard Li (the owner, I believe) came to the house, took measurements and spent quite a bit of time going over the projects, and sent an estimate the next day. The estimate wasn't the cheapest, but also not the most expensive, and it seemed he knew what he was doing and would do quality work. BUT, it turns out their Virginia contractors license expired in 2007. If you live in Virginia and plan to use Crystal, make sure they've gotten their license reactivated.

They did a great job - the correct door was delivered and no problems with the installation process from my perspective, all very smooth. Edgar was great to work with and not high pressure at all. The pricing was what I expected. The door looks and works great - ProVia puts out a quality product.

Crystal Exteriors had just replaced windows for my house. They are highly recommended. The entire process was great from beginning to completion. The appointment was made quickly and my sales rep, Mr. Li, showed up in a very timely fashion. He was professional, knowledgeable and informative. He was very considerate for my needs before giving me his recommendations. He thoroughly examined all windows to be replaced and took the measurements on the spot for his estimate. I received a very professional quotation on that same day with itemized details for all the windows. The proposal was easy to understand and the price was much more reasonable compared to others that I have received. I e-signed the quotation online with an agreed timeframe to start the job. In a couple of weeks, the crew showed up on time on a weekend morning. They remeasured the windows to make sure that they have all the right new windows before they carefully removed the old windows. They work very diligently in a seemingly organized fashion so no time was wasted. They finished the job in the afternoon and showed me the results. The workmanship on the installation was wonderful. They also did a great job on the cleanup for both inside and outside of the house and hauling away the debris. We really appreciate their good work. The sales rep came after a couple of days for a final walk-through before I made the payment. He offered some tips on cares of the new windows and made sure we had all our questions answered. We are pleased with our new windows very much.

Price was competitive. Mr. Li was extremely knowledgeable and very responsive. His crew was professional and very neat. The workmanship was excellent. All in all, it was the best interaction I have ever had with a contractor!

What an amazing company! Mr. Li is professionalism personified, especially dealing with endless questions and concerns. The work was done in a prompt, professional and detailed manner. They replaced all our gutters- redid the whole house and all at a fair price. The quote we got was detailed, and every aspect of the work was explained to us in advance. I have used Crystal Exteriors for two window/door projects. I am scheduling my third with them. This company is an absolute pleasure to work with. The owner, Mr. Li, is friendly and extremely knowledgeable in his field. He will offer advice to help you make the best decisions in your project. I appreciate that immensely since most of us are not going to be experts in these kinds of projects. All the research in the world takes a back seat to the solid professional expertise which Mr. Li will provide you in your decision making process. Unlike many companies that will pressure you into signing the day they come out, Mr. Li is not like that. That is certainly something I admire and appreciate as it demonstrates confidence in his work as well as respect in your decision-making. His install crew demonstrates the same level of dedication and attention, which is crucial. You can pick out the highest quality door, window, siding, etc. for your project, but unless the install crew is proficient and experienced, that quality will be for naught. With Crystal Exteriors the install crew won’t let you down. They are punctual, courteous, and experienced. In any project, unforeseen and unpreventable things can happen. To me a true test of a company is how they respond to these situations. Again, Mr. Li won’t let you down. He clearly takes pride in a job well-done. Crystal Exteriors are also competitive in their pricing. In the home renovation industry my experience has been that some companies, especially those with high pressure sales, will attempt to gouge you in their pricing. Crystal Exteriors is not like that. I feel their pricing is very fair for the quality of product as well as the quality of install. I highly recommend Crystal Exteriors with your home renovation projects. Working with them has made my own renovations a journey of smooth sailing.

In a recent high-wind storm, a downspout blew off the house. The gutter and downspouts on this side of the house needed replacing. I called Edgar Li of Crystal Exteriors, who had done a great job for us previously on the other side of the house. He told me it would be 2 weeks, but he actually came in just a couple of days, working around our schedule too. He runs an extremely professional and helpful operation, feels like personal service at a great price. I’m so grateful for this quality of service!

From start to finish, Edgar Li was extremely responsive, professional, knowledgeable, and gracious. He inspired our confidence right away because of his openness and forthright manner in answering our questions and explaining any issues. He actually emailed us the estimate from his supplier who builds the doors, and to that he added his cost for installation. Totally transparent. It was easily the best estimate. When the door came, his team was terrific at installation and the whole area was completely clean. The door is a perfect fit in a 100-year-old doorway frame, thanks to Edgar Li’s care in measuring. Crystal Exteriors is a company with the perfect balance of being cost effective while using top quality materials and having the skills for great installation. They are also professional, easy to work with, and honest. They did our roof, gutters, windows and door. Working with Crystal Exteriors has helped take some of the stress out of being a first time homeowner. We bought our first home this summer and ended up discovering that the previous homeowner took shortcuts wherever they possibly could, and they hired a terrible roofing contractor leaving us with a brand new roof full of leaks. We weren’t going to make the same mistakes he did, we were going to do this right- so we did our research and met with several different roofing companies, local and big-name, before meeting Edgar and deciding to go with Crystal Exteriors. We chose them based on their reputation, knowledge, and professionalism as well as the extremely reasonable estimate provided and warranty on the work and materials. They did a total roof replacement, from the plywood on up. The job they did was meticulous, from the details like the flashing around the chimneys, to the cleanup of nails and debris at the end of the job. They completed the job in one day as promised, and David, the roofing supervisor with decades of experience, oversaw the job and met with me at the end of the day to make sure we were 100% happy. We were so impressed with them that we hired them to redo our gutters/downspouts, and again, the estimate was the most reasonable and the materials used and workmanship was top notch. We also hired them to replace our old basement door with a steel security door, and replace our old basement windows as well. Their prices were much lower than other companies that provide the same exact brand and items (ProVia Legacy door and ProVia Endure windows). The installers were professional and did an excellent job. I ended up recommending Crystal Exteriors to my mother and she got her gutters replaced by them. I found out later on that our realtor’s other clients in the same neighborhood had their roof done by them as well and were recommending them. Edgar and David are honest, reliable, and take pride in their work.

We replaced our front door with a steel door with a nice glass insert and two full glass sidelites. The owner, Edgar Li, came to our house for the estimate and his demeanor, knowledge and professionalism far exceeded the other. He knew exactly what would work in our opening (another door company and recommended something that wasn't available). He made some recommendations that modify what we thought we might want which turned out to be much better. We also had Edgar replace our rear door which was not closing well. The estimate was very reasonable and less than most. At installation, Edgar's door team was superb. We could not tell at the end that any work had been done. The inside and outside detail work was excellent. They discovered the back door was no longer square, which meant that the outside cedar molding was also not square. They were able to square up one side and the top but need a new plank for the other side. This was an unusual size cedar plank but Edgar found one and came back himself to finish that. We could not be more pleased.
