Description of Work: I was under warranty and they came to repair an area around my roof drain. |The work men are very honest, take photos of what they did.

Description of Work: Installed switch and fan rough in in a bedroom as well as installed a bathroom ventilation fan I purchased.

Description of Work: Installed a new slate roof, skylight, solar tubes, copper gutters and flashing.

Description of Work: Certified Inc. replaced a portion of our roof, the flatroof section, that was incorrectly installed by another roofing company Certified's crew knew what they were doing and went the extra steps to make sure everything was done right, the first time. We will hire them again when we have a roofing need.

Description of Work: They were supposed to use plywood, and delivered less expensive composite board. They said the old boards were warped because the previous roofers had not used clips...and then proceeded to roof without using clips when they ran out of them. I called and had to get someone to attend to the problems. | |They spilled oil on my front walkway, and left it, where it stained the white stone. It took repeated calls to get them back. They worked on it, and I said it was okay, even though you could still see it....so it is my fault I still have a stain. It was caused by want of care on their part, though. | |They said they would use a magnet and pick up any loose roofing nails. I found three more on the deck yesterday...two months later. I don't think they did more than sweep. I have small dogs and small grandchildren and having loose nails appear suddenly is not okay. | |An inspector did come out and look at the roof as the work and materials have a 50 year warranty, and the inspector said it looks good and they will back the work. It does looks good, and has not leaked.

Description of Work: We got an estimate for a roof replacement from Certified. We were looking to replace with either real or synthetic slate. Aside from being a little late for our initial meeting (although he called to tell us), our consultant made a great first impression and were would have been happy to work with Certified despite the cost being slightly higher than some of the other estimates we received. He appeared knowledgeable and answered our questions. He sent the proposal exactly when we said he would. | |Unfortunately, then we never heard from him again. Two emails and a call to Certified later and we still received no response. After receiving no response to my two emails to the consultant telling him we were ready to move forward, but had one additional question about the materials, I contacted the main office. I was told it was surprising that he hadn't responded and they would have him call me that afternoon. It has been two months since our initial consultation and three weeks since that phone call and I have yet to receive a response. | |I know we don't have a huge roof (we live in the District), but I would have expected at least a returned call to say that they are too busy right now to do a small job like ours.

Description of Work: We had our two homes re-roofed. One required new wood which was performed in an excellent manor. The owner, Jim Lessing, is one of the most professional business man we have had the pleasure of doing business with. His price(s)were fair and the work exceptional.

Description of Work: Replaced roof on a colonial house that had 2 layers of old roof. Used Certainteed shingles that cost more than other estimate with fiberglass shingles. They did the job in one day as predicted. They did very professional work and clean up was outstanding. They gave the estimate after viewing the house, but we did not meet them during estimate. We got three estimates. We only talked by phone and they gave an Angie's list discount. They followed up when a cap on a roof outlet came off and fixed it.

Description of Work: Met with a sale persons, he was very professional, appeared honest in his responses as I had 7 different estimates so I was able to get an idea of the general concensus of what was needed for roofing, siding job. I would have used them, but it came down the the prices it was a little more on the higher end. Overall though thought the company was great.

Description of Work: The actual date was Oct. 2010. This was a really big job, and they performed well and professionally, with very good results. They removed my old, leaky slate roof and replaced it with a new slate roof. This required long hours for the better part of a week. I continue to be very satisfied and happy with the job.
