This is my second time working with Certified on a major whole house renovation. As a detail-oriented customer, I rely on Tom Keehn and his crews. They don't let me down. They're responsive and professional. They do what they say they will do and then do a bit more to ensure customer satisfaction. In this last job, they replaced the roof, siding, gutters, and capped other wood around a new carport and hung the ceilings for a carport, and covered porch. The crews are friendly, helpful, hard-working, professional and clean-up. And if there were problems, they responded the same day and sometimes fixed them before sundown. I recommend Certified Inc without hesitation.

I met with Tom (owner) after meeting with several other roofing companies. He walked me through the CertainTeed product line and addressed all of my questions. Certified Inc. is a factory certified installer of CertainTeed shingles and is able to provide a very comprehensive warranty. Tom was knowledgeable and hands-on, and his many years of experience in the roofing industry were the primary reasons I chose to go with Certified Inc. After signing the contract I was able to secure an install date within two weeks. The installation of the new roof went smoothly and the team worked efficiently to complete the job in one day. Tarps were used to protect my deck and landscaping. Clean-up of debris was thorough and magnets were used to remove stray nails from the lawn and driveway. The new roof looks great and I would highly recommend Certified Inc.

We received 5 estimates from roofers and Certified Inc not only came in at the second best price, but was the most punctual, responsive and honest of all the roofers. Tom the owner came by to give us the estimate and at no time did I ever feel like he was trying to up-sell us. His roofers were extremely professional and worked hard from 7:30am to almost 6pm. The yard and driveway were left cleaner then when they arrived. We couldn't be happier with the communication, service and the warranty that came with our new roof. It really looks great and it's nice to know this is one thing we won't have to worry about for a long time. Thank you!

The work went very smoothly. It was delayed by 2 days from the original schedule date because of rain, but I was notified immediately. Customer service was excellent in terms of keeping us informed. We met with Tom for an estimate and asked that some "extras" be broken out in terms of price so we could decide what we did or did not want to do. He complied with our request, something some other companies did not do.Tom was very clear that no payment of any kind was due until all work was complete. They had to special order a louvre vent which took awhile beyond the completion of the the roof and they were firm about not paying until "all" work was complete. We found them very knowledgeable and professional. Their price was competitive with several other roofers and significantly less than at least one other bid. They were very neat in doing all the work and very good at cleaning up everything once the work was done. We needed some extra work done like adding two bathroom exhaust fan exits, which they handled with no problem. We have been so happy with the work that we have recommended them to do the work for our son and a neighbor.

Certified replaced the roof on my home. Tom was professional and very well prepared when he came to my home. He brought the job foreman with him to meet us in advance The team who did the replacement was on time, friendly and professional also. The only trace they left behind was a new roof!! Well done. Highly recommend this company.

My great looking roof was done two years ago by Certified Inc. They recently completed my house Siding installation that looks wonderful with the roof. Also they installed 13 Simonton windows. I am grateful for all the assistance from Tom, Certified Inc. owner for helping me with my insurance and for providing professional hardworking workers who made my house roof and siding look beautiful and the envy in my community.

Certified was great- from communications with the office to performance of the work. I will definitely use Certified again.

The whole process was smooth. Tom, the owner, came out personally to do the quote, which was very competitive when compared to other companies in the area. I'd highly recommend working with Certified.

Certified did the job in a matter of weeks, rather than months later as proposed by all of the other estimators we dealt with. This was a big job (about 45 squares), and it started on-schedule and the new tiles look great. Javier, their in-house inspector, was very pleasant and fully addressed all of our questions and concerns.

Crew was professional, fast and efficient. Price was excellent. I recommend this company for any roofing work you may need. Owner/estimator was courteous and explained everything that was going to happen and it did, just as he said.

The repair went very smoothly. The repairman had suggested two separate course of action choices. We chose the above-referenced fix since it was simpler while still expected to be robust enough to fix the problem. The cost was $250 for the labor, and $34.60 for the parts (four small plumbing conduits).

It was not the cheapest, but they were willing to negotiate and most importantly kept to the contracted price. Tom Keehn the owner was very hands on and friendly. Victor the foreman was easy to work with and very good in communicating all that's going on, once the job got going. They brought in extra help as needed, and that was appreciated.

Certified Inc. replaced our roof shingles and soffits. The work was done efficiently and on schedule. The installers were professional, polite, friendly and mindful of our privacy. The cleanup was excellent. I would recommend Certified Inc. to anyone who needed work done on their roof.

We have a very complicated roof for starters. We had a full roof replacement 2 years ago performed by Certified. The one area of the roof they did not work on at that time was our metal encased dome shaped dormer windows (3 of them). We were told at that time that the metal didn't need to be touched/replaced because it was strong and in good shape. We listened. Fast forward a year and a half and we start seeing water damage coming from around one of the dormer windows. Turns out the solder in the metal had a small crack in it. So we decided to have Certified come out and cover all the metal domes with a waterproof membrane and asphalt. Hopefully this will prevent any more issues. We wish we would have had this done at the time of the full replacement. It would have been a lot easier for them and probably cheaper for us. Javier was professional and did the whole job himself over two days (not counting the rain delays). Time will tell if this solves our problem, but we are hopeful it will.

Finding a good, reliable roofing company without the high sales pressure or trying to push a particular product was a challenge, until I met with Thomas. From the initial contact until to the completion of the roof replacement, the team at Certified was professional, courteous, responsive to my myriad of questions, and the price was good.

The work was done in a timely, professional way. The company left our property clean of debris, communicated consistently as to arrival and departures and any needs to complete our roof. The initial meeting with contractor was great without sales pressure or add ons as experienced with others who offered bids that he encouraged us to check out to make comparison and our decision to go with Certified Inc. We have had many compliments on the roof well done and its color appearance.

As I said before, I would definitely hire again!!! But I only have on roof!! :) I don't even know where to begin to describe how wonderful the experience and the service were from the very beginning!!! Because of the storm that had been hitting Washington DC, part of our roof was seriously damaged and the ceiling in one of the rooms collapsed. We were looking for a reliable company who wouldn't only redo the roof fast, but efficiently. Tom came to give me an estimate a couple of days after I called! He was incredibly professional, explained to me in extreme detail how the job would be performed, was so reassuring and caring and overall just wonderful!!! Not only they gave us the best pricing but also the soonest time to begin the job!! Despite the continuous and unpredictable weather/rain, they managed to do the job on the date that was offered. And the quality of job was impeccable!!! We now have a beautiful high quality roof!! I couldn't be happier with the level of professionalism, honesty and care that Certified Inc provided to us!!! In a word, our experience was "FANTASTIC." First, the PEOPLE: Tom (the owner) listened carefully to my concerns about our old roof; gave it a close inspection; and recommended a perfect solution ("Weathered Wood shingles," "Winterberry shutters"). The front office staff were friendly, easy to work with, and answered all of my questions patiently and promptly. The supervisor, foreman, and crew who did the work were exceptional -- rarely have I have seen a team as focused, steady, and conscientious as they were. They were well trained and high-performing -- bar none -- and they did a THOROUGH cleanup job afterward. Next, the PRODUCT: We are very impressed with the Landmark Pro architectural shingles -- they are solid, attractive, and match our landscape beautifully. Also, the crew was trained by CertainTeed, and it showed: The shingle lines were straight and true, with no defects at all. And the ridge vents are GREAT! We've already noticed how much cooler our attic is. Very nice! And they installed four new Velux skylights -- again, the product is beautiful and the installation was tight and true (no leaks this time!). Third, the PRICE: It was fair and reasonable for the quality of the product and the work done (covering four roofs plus one shed). We have no complaints at all. A fair price for an excellent job. Finally, TIMELINESS: Certified Inc. was able to do the job within two weeks after I signed the contract. Unbelievable -- but they did it! I strongly recommend Certified Inc. to anybody who needs a new roof -- and I'm actively telling my friends and co-workers the same thing.

Certified did a great job. It was completed in 1-1/2 days. The crew worked diligently and cleaned up after the job was done. As requested, they provided photos of the job--while it was going on and afterwards. We were pleased.

Certified Inc is a terrific company to work with--from prompt inspection of work to be performed, quick and reasonable estimate and then a very competent crew who kept tidy work site and who were all very polite. The roof looks fantastic and it rained over four inches immediately after the work was completed...no leaks! Highly recommend...

Certified was recommended to me by a neighbor who was very happy with the job they did. I got three estimates from different companies and Certified's wasn't the lowest in cost but they seemed the best in professionalism and quality of the work they would do. I felt that they were very straightforward and honest in answering my questions. They sat down with me and showed me the brochures of the different materials and explained the job in detail and also explained the various options. The man in charge of the job during the installation was also very professional. As far as I could tell they did a great job on the installation - the roof looks great. I would recommend Certified for sure.

From start to finish, the service I received was exceptional! The estimate was fair and competitive with 3 other estimates. The roofers arrived promptly at 7:00a.m. both days and worked purposefully to complete the job in a timely manner. The project manager kept me apprised of their progress throughout and upon completion, the team cleared my driveway and yard of all debris. The office staff was courteous and professional and politely responded to all my questions and concerns regarding this project. I was completely satisfied with my experience and I enthusiastically recommend Certified Incorporated.

The reason I picked Certified was twofold: 1. Because they were going to do everything I wanted done and 2. because I felt they had the best overall warranty of every contractor I talked to and they were rated very highly on Angie’s List, Google and with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Tom Keehn, the owner, gave me the estimate and was very knowledgeable, flexible and informative throughout the entire process. His office staff and everyone else I interacted with, were very easy to work with. The crew was polite and respectful throughout the entire process and answered a number of questions I had regarding the installation with informative answers and no B.S. I spent an enormous amount of time educating myself about the entire installation process, in the course of getting estimates from 13 different contractors. Growing up, I installed a fair number of roofs working with my father, so I was somewhat familiar with the process, although I must admit it has changed quite a bit in the last 40+ years. Roofing installations are much more technologically advanced now. The crew worked very well together and did a great job of cleaning up throughout the entire process and at the end of each day. I mowed my yard a few days after they finished and I didn’t see any roofing waste anywhere. The crew notified me of some minor damage that was done in the process to a window screen and the aluminum covering my garage door – door frame and they repaired both before they left. I was not aware of these, so if they had been less than reputable they could have easily gotten away with not repairing them. There was also a crack in my bathroom ceiling which was repaired a few days later. The drywall repair guys did a great job as well. I had my entire roof replaced including all of the plywood. I kept a close eye on the entire process and everything was done as it should have been. They even went so far as to add flashing to my bay window because they felt the flashing there was insufficient, which was something I would have never known. In conclusion, it was very easy to work with Certified, all the work was done as it should have been to get the full warranties, no corners were cut and the entire crew did a great job of doing everything they were supposed to do. It was a job done very well!!! Thank you very much!

Certified Inc was very professional and I do recommend them., Tom the owner conducted a thorough inspection and provided an estimate that included all of the work required. I had done my research, and Tom's estimate was complete and very reasonable compared to other quotes I had received. The work was done well, within, just a few weeks of the contract, and the clean up was exceptional. The crew and the work supervisor were hard working and very professional as well.

No complaints. Tom provided background about the company, explained the process, and provided upgrade options. All of Certified's claims checked them out with CertainTeed, Angie's List reviews, and the BBB. This was an insurance claim and Certified's estimate was extremely close to what my insurance company covered. So I opted for the upgraded CertainTeed roofing shingles. Certified asked if they could show up and perform the work a day earlier than scheduled which was fine by me. The crew showed up promptly and were extremely professional. If they had questions, they asked. They cleaned up everything afterward. I had a chance to talk to some of them and they explained how they are trained by CertainTeed and that their certification requires periodic renewal. When you watch the crew work, there is a rhythm and precise methodology for laying out and nailing down the shingles.
