This was as painless as a new roof could be. Tom is incredibly communicative and keeps you informed every step of the way. The crew arrived on time, kept to the schedule, and did a fantastic job. Their attention to detail with installing TPO on a flat room was very impressive.

Outstanding! The owner, Tom Keehn, visited my home and gave me a quote a day or two after I called to schedule an appointment. He showed up, walked around my house and came back with a quote. He explained the shingles, the underlayment and their entire process. He described the shingles they use (Certainteed Landmark, Landmark Pro and Belmont) and said that Landmark was a great shingle and he'd recommend going with that one. We had a tough time deciding which shingle to go with, so Tom provided addresses to homes that he had recently completed and also assisted us with our selection. Once we decided, Certified contacted us to inform us of the date the shingles and other supplies would be delivered and when the crew would show up to begin the work. Inclement weather prevented them from starting on the agreed to date and the next date. So, the crew showed up on a Sunday morning to begin and finish the work. They made special efforts to protect our bush's and deck. After completing the roof, they did an exceptional job of cleaning up. I liked working with Tom as he did not make any negative comments about any of the other company's that we had received quotes from. He simply said that his quote would probably be somewhere in the middle, but it was the lowest. I'd recommend Certified to anyone who needs a roof. As a matter of fact, I've referred two of my neighbor to Certified. Of of two, also had his roof done by Certified; while the other is waiting until next year.

Certified was great! They were polite and responsive on the phone. The price quoted was competitive and reflected the actual cost, the workers arrived on time, worked continuously and completed the job in the time promised. They did a great job cleaning up afterwards despite it being dark outside! I strongly recommend Certified if you’re looking for a roof replacement.

Absolutely professional, technically excellent, outstanding workmanship by a team of workers who obviously took great pride in their final product. Reasonably priced and definitely competitive. What started as a project for one homeowner developed into a marathon production on EIGHT different homes! Work schedules were timely maintained as promised. Even the site clean-up was flawless. Having worked with roofing companies for over 30 years on various properties I own, without a doubt CERTIFIED is OUTSTANDING in every respect. I frequently inspected the job as it progressed and was pleased to verify for myself the quality of work and attention to details that the installers demonstrated. The owner of the company, Tom Keehan, also inspected the progress of the job and insured that a highly trained supervisor was always available. As with any job it is not unusual for an unrelated mishap (damaged plant, perhaps a broken window, or even something as minor as a small scratch on a dormer) to occur for which no individual worker would own... without controversy, argument, or discord of any kind, the owner apologized for the mishap and immediately took care of the problem. I received estimates from 3 different companies and chose CERTIFIED for the following reasons: 1. The owner was honest and straightforward when responding to all my questions. The questions I posed were meticulously researched so I already knew the answers... Only CERTIFIED answered accurately and without any BS. 2. I personally called four of the references provided and received resoundingly positive comments. All said they would use again or recommend to a friend or neighbor without reservation. 3. Fair price

The whole process went very smoothly from the time the estimate was given to the completion of the job. The owner came out to inspect and gave us an estimate right away. We were scheduled 2 weeks out to have the job done. Due to couple days of bad weather, our job was delayed for 2 days. The office updated us every Friday on the day that they will start the job. The work crew was on time and they were courteous. They carefully cleaned up the area around the house. Overall they did an excellent job.

Excellent. I would highly recommend this company. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and professional. Very good experience. Their cost was 25% less than other companies. This is my second job with this company. They are also very good with insurance companies.

It went overall well. The replacement options were clearly presented, with dollar amounts included for any "extras" or any downgrades (making it easier to make decisions on these potential trade-offs). Work was completed on-time, and workers showed up when scheduled. Upon our inspection, several items were identified that needed to be addressed, which ultimately was done to our satisfaction. We would hire again, and in fact did when it turned out our garage roof did need replacement just a couple months after main house roof.

We had to replace the roof of our townhouse. We compared the quotes from 3 companies and certified was the best price of them all. Our HOA took a long time to approve the process but Certified was willing to work with our schedule. The only one minor blemish is that we asked about the condition of the cricket structure around our chimney. And it was not clear until the day of installation that there was not an old cricket structure, and it was too late to consider the option of adding a cricket. We wish we had learned about that earlier so we could perhaps decide to add it.

Certified replaced our roof a few weeks ago. We received estimates from multiple roofers. They provided us with samples of nearly everything that would be used. They were very transparent with their pricing and timing. They did a great job of cleaning up the nails afterward (which was a major concern given we have small dogs). They had the best warranty of all roofers, which was a major selling point for us. Would definitely recommend!

What a great experience! A neighbor used Certified Inc. a few years ago for a roof replacement and highly recommended this company. I received numerous estimates from other companies, but no one could compete with the warranty and reviews. Where other companies sent out salespeople to bid for my business, Tom, the owner showed up himself and was thorough and honest. From start to finish, everyone I dealt with (Tom, Diana, and the work crew) were professional, efficient, and did an outstanding job. Job was completed in 2 days as promised. I highly recommend Certified Inc. if you're looking for a roof replacement and/or gutters and downspouts.

I asked a friend for the name of the company that replaced the roof on their house. They recommended Certified Incorporated contractor that they obtained from Angie’s List. Their contract listed in detail and sequential order of installing a new roof. I received a quote that included an explanation of what Certified Incoporated was going to do. First, the old shingles were removed. Second, any rotten wood was replaced with quality wood. Third, the entire roof was covered with synthetic felt. Fourth, replaced pipe booths. Fifth, they installed lifetime shingles with a twenty-five year workmanship guarantee. The warranty is transferable to the next homeowner. Also, the contract included the removal and hauling away of all debris. This was a pleasant experience. I highly recommend this contractor. Thank you, A. Brookins

Because both of our roof segments needed replacement, this was a big job. As a result, we got multiple bids and checked out the service providers in detail. Certified had the strongest profile of the providers we contacted, and they bid on the job at a reasonable price and with quick service time. They provided excellent, timely service.

Certified workers were dependable and hardworking. The worked from sunup to sundown. The crew completed the the work in a neat and efficient fashion. They were very respectful, helpful and answered all questions. They did a great job on getting the job done and giving us the best results possible for our money.

The project went very well. This is the second project that Certified has performed on my home. I needed all of the copings, scupper boxes, and downspouts replaced, as they were damaged by another contractor. Certified came out to inspect, and the technician walked me through the work that would need to be performed. Shortly thereafter, they provided me with a project cost schedule, and began performing the work even a little earlier than I had expected. All of the work was done professionally and timely with proper attention to detail. The technicians were very courteous and answered questions that I had during the course of the project. They also left the surroundings neat and clean at the end of the project. I would definitely recommend them and use them again for future roofing needs.

It was wonderful. Tom suggested two different kinds of roof for my house. In the front, high-quality asphalt tiles, and in the back standing seam metal. The back will support solar panels, and standing seam is great because they can install the panels by clipping them onto the seams without penetrating the roof. But it is expensive, hence the two materials. Certified is a super professional company. They do any kind of roof (very unusual) and have special crews for each. They are also certified by Certainteed - also rare - so the customer gets a 50-year guarantee. There is even a specialist who comes with a truck to make the steel panels then and there, so they fit perfectly. All the crews were friendly, competent, and clean.

We are very satisfied with Certified and have already recommended them to our neighbors. We shopped around quite a bit and found that Certified installs the same Simonton windows that Home Depot tried to sell us, but at a significantly lower price. Also, Certified didn't go through any silly sales procedures or try to 'sell us' at all. They came out, took a look and some measurements, gave me a low quote on the spot and said "we don't haggle or bargain, or do one-time discounts or anything like that. We just give you a fair price. Take it or leave it." No fuss. It was refreshing. The windows themselves are very good. Sure, we seriously considered splashing out on wood windows with Andersen, but the price difference was too much, and now (a week after installation) we are very happy with our choice. One of the most exciting things or us is how much quieter our home is. Street, airplane, and lawnmower noise is all significantly reduced from our original windows which had storm panes. I gave Certified a "B" on punctuality and professionalism for a few pretty small reasons. First, one of our narrow windows in the bathroom had a steel frame that the crew couldn't cut out, so they put the new window around the old frame. That makes sense, but the upshot is we've lost what used to be a nice deep window sill, and the window was so narrow to begin with, with the wider vinyl frames, we lost more light than we wanted, too. We wish we had been advised to retain the old window. The other things were logistical. The windows were delivered the day before install, but I didn't know that was going to happen. We had guests at the house and they were confused when a truck of windows showed up. I didn't tell them to expect it because I didn't know they were coming. Also, on the day of install, we were told to expect the crew between 7-8 AM. I got up early to have everything ready, but the crew hadn't finished a job elsewhere the day before, so they didn't come until I think 10:00 or later. I spent several anxious hours waiting for a crew to come before they eventually did. These things were minor, however, compared to very good windows installed well at the best price we could find. Definitely recommend.

After evaluating multiple companies to have a full replacement of my roof, I was delighted with Tom as owner to work with and his professionalism from the first day he showed on time to perform the quoting process. Besides a very competitive price, his company exceeds in terms of warranty expectations and the job was performed the following week and on-time. I am very satisfied with the results and Tom's expert advice for my needs.

This review is first of all not a hoax. One of the things I generally would do before hiring a contractor for a job like a roof replacement is an extensive research on the cost of the project, in-depth reviews and also shop around for a number of contractors that are well fit for the job. I did a thorough research and had a few well named companies do a demo for us. Most of these companies had sales man that were pressuring us to make a decision there and then and more so were charging an exorbitant amount more than the job would cost. After a number of these tries, we found Certified Incorporated, reached out to a guy called Jose. He came out and was very very honest. For a second, we wondered if he was for real. Well.....Honesty is something that stands out to me as a home owner when dealing with contractors because there's too many crooks and hooligans out there. After a series of deliberation, we were convinced that Certified Inc will be the right contractors for our roof replacement. We got everything scheduled and had them come out. One of the things that stood out was they wouldn't accept a down payment unless the job was done right and we were satisfied with it. Secondly, the scheduled time we decided was right on point. No delays whatsoever. I had a need of replacing the dryer vents on my building and I purchased them in advance to see if the guys would replace them and sure enough they did. We were delighted. The only thing we felt could have been done better was the removal of the nails and fasteners that fell of the roof. A few of them was found hanging around our driveway after they left but those I took care of.

A trusted neighbor had had her roof replaced by Certified and highly recommended them. The entire process from the first visit and assessment by Tom to the installer's truck pulling away after completion of the job was flawless. The installers were prompt, courteous, and professional and did a wonderful job of cleaning up.
