Two weeks after moving into a new home, we discovered, after a heavy rain, that we had a leak in an older flat roof over a bedroom. Tom was extremely responsive and helpful, and even though they don't do roofing repairs (only full replacements), Tom sent his foreman over to patch our roof as an emergency short-term fix while we looked into options for having the old roof replaced with a TPC membrane. There have been heavy rains in the meantime, and the temporary patch has saved us from taking on more water and causing further damage to drywall and floors. We were impressed by Certified's professionalism and responsiveness, and we would have hired them to do the full roof replacement, but they had a 2-3 week backlog due to all the rainy weather, and we needed the work done sooner than that.

It could not have been better. I obtained many estimates for my roof replacement. I decided on Certified because of the down to earth manner in which they presented the work to be done and the competitive price. From Tom the owner to the office staff to the installers, all were great to work with and totally responsive to my concerns and needs.

Very professional. There some disconnects with schedule, but they were quickly resolved. Finished the job in a day. The crew that did the job was efficient and did a good job.

Very well. Tom is very responsive and informed. Workman came on time and were very polite. The back-office (shout out to Jody) is great.

I called and they said to not let anyone else touch the roof or it would void the warranty. They came and inspected the roof. The repairman (Juan) was very nice and polite. He saw that a large part of a ceiling was down and went onto the roof to inspect. He came back and said the roof was fine (another repairman had gone onto the roof and said that too!) so it must be coming from a side wall. I had someone repair the side wall. We agreed that it was not a roof problem and so I would pay for the inspection.

Impressive performance from start to finish. Made initial contact after viewing Angies List reviews. Diana, (very efficient and personable throughout the process) took my information and set up an appointment with Tom, the Owner. Tom came to our home and explained in detail Certified's process. He provided brochures and roofing material information and insured the proper roof dimensions (important for the Insurance company). He helped us select the roofing material and provided a detailed estimate of total cost. He took care of the details in dealing with the insurance company. Once the insurance company approved of Tom's estimate (which was the best of 3 companies) a date was set. The Certified crew arrived on time and very efficiently replaced our roof according to the described process. The roof looks great and the clean up was effective and through. My wife and I are very pleased and happy with Certified's service and highly recommend them

Arrived on time, actually scheduled earlier than expected, completed fast. Workers were prompt, energetic, and courteous. Cost was competitive, middle of the road, but you get what you pay for.

The Certified team did a great job on the roof, and the clean up was excellent. They arrived on time and completed the work in a very timely fashion. We had a difficult time selecting the architectural shingle color/style that would coordinate with our brick, shutters, etc., so having samples of actual shingles to hold up against the house (which the shingle manufacturer strongly recommends), rather than a board showing photos of shingle colors, would have been very helpful (my only suggestion).

I am very, very pleased. Juan Carlos arrived on time and went right to work. The job was completed on time and the yard was cleaned. In fact, the yard was cleaner than before they began the job. I am certain the job was thorough because it has rained every day since the work was done and not a drop of water has entered my home. JOB WELL DONE!!!!!

My roof was wind damaged after the March 2018 storm. I called Certified and a number of other contractors for an inspection and estimate. Turns out I needed to get the roof replaced. Certified offered the best quality products and prices, so I went with them. Tom came to my home and thoroughly described the options available and the process and timing for getting the work done. He participated in multiple phone calls with me and my insurance company when they hedged on covering the whole roof- after Tom provided the justification and additional information, my insurance covered the whole roof. He is a consummate professional, and so was the crew that performed the work. I wholeheartedly recommend Certified if you need work done on your roof.

Repairs went smoothly and results looks great. Certified actually was able to schedule and complete the work before the original estimated date! This is the second work they have done for me and both times I am very pleased with their work and results.

Because of the March 2nd 2018 storm, our roof had lots of broken shingles. So I had the roof inspected and found out that entire roof needs to replaced. As I shopping for a roofing company, I came across the Certified, Inc. After reading the reviews at several places including the BBB and going through several other companies selected the Certified. The owner Tom showed up one early morning and he went through in detail with me and my wife. We were really happy with his presentation and signed the contract. We went with CertainTeed Landmark Pro architectural shingles in Moire Black. The day of the roofing, Jose the foreman showed up bright and early (7:15 am) with a large crew. Just two days before, my next door neighbor had their roof replaced which took 2.5 days to finish. To my surprise the entire roof replacement was done in a single day by 8 pm. Javier was the supervisor who came in the morning talked to me in depth about the job. He showed up the next day to check on my satisfaction. From the start to finish it was pleasant. They also cleaned the yard on all sides, used tarps all around the house, moved the things in the way. Overall I am very happy and would highly recommend them.

Due to storm damage, we needed an emergency repair of siding. Certified was out within 24 hours to get a temporary repair done. They then came and completed the siding repair that was required, no issues and excellent work quality. Siding was special order due to age of the home, but they completed the job within the time frame quoted. Due to some insurance issues, additional work was required on the home, which were also done within the expected amount of time. Diana and Tom were excellent to work with for all communications. Definitely a recommended contractor. Have also used them in the past for roofing, with the same results.

Overall, Certified did a quality, professional job. My only complaints were 1) lack of communication from crew; 2) damage to plants and lawn; and 3) clean-up could have been better

Tom was extremely nice and easy to work with. He promptly came out to give us an estimate and gave us some great recommendations. His team was extremely responsive along the way and worked well with us to accommodate our schedule and make late adjustments. The team was really respectful and worked really **** ** replacing our roof and gutters. The roof looks amazing and they did a meticulous job cleaning. They swept through the area two days in a row and cleaned and wiped down our back porch that got a little dirty. Certified was extremely easy to work with and I would highly recommend them.

I balked at paying their $350 charge for what turned out to be maybe 15-20 minutes of labor. They categorically denied my request to pay less than that amount. I consider this to be a rip-off. I would never use their services again. Caveat emptor.

Tom at Certified was professional and helpful. He gave us the time and attention we needed. Job was done well and looks great. Price was significantly below 3 other roofers. We did find 2 nails in the yard after they were done, but no other complaints.

We were initially impressed with Certified Inc.’s expertise and quick scheduling. Overall, we are satisfied with our roof replacement as the crew worked quickly and efficiently, they did not damage any of our surrounding flowers/shrubs, and they did an excellent job of cleaning up the debris upon completion of the project. However, our roof work began on a day when afternoon thunderstorms were expected and some water ultimately leaked through the roof (which was still under construction) and down into our upstairs hallway ceiling. It took a few phone calls and two visits to resolve the issue, but our ceiling was ultimately repaired to our satisfaction. In spite of the water issue, we would recommend this company to others.

From the initial project meeting with us to the final installation by the crew this was as smooth and professional experience I have had with a Home Contractor in a long time. The owner Tom, not a salesperson, made the initial site visit and went through the options and installation process in a very thorough way. He not only answered any question I had but provided and explained samples of the all the products used in replacing the roof. I am one of those people who does their homework before reaching out for bids. I knew what roofing product I wanted and how it needed to be installed to insure it would live up to its rated weather resistance and longevity. So my questions were specific and I knew what the answers should be and Tom did not disappoint. The quote I received was in the middle of the pack price wise, but at the top of the list for thoroughness and clearly outlining what I was getting and any contingency costs for things like replacing rotted roof plywood sheets. My roof was 30 years old so I expected we would have to replace a number of sheets and I could easily calculate the costs based on the details of the contract. Weather can play havoc with scheduling a roof replacement but Diana in the front office was a gem about promptly notifying me when any change was needed. and working with to identify the next soonest date that was convenient. In spite of a lot of wet weather during the period around my installation the date was only moved a few days. The installation crew was prompt, professional and the crew lead was very gracious in answering questions I had during the process and allowing me to inspect the old plywood sheets that had to be replaced. The team was very fastidious in making every effort to sweep the property for debris and nails, and cleaned up the few places where some of the old roofing material left dirt behind as it fell from the roof. The final result is wonderful and the process was efficient and painless. I now have added peace of mind that my roof is up to the increasingly high winds we now experience during Spring and Summer storms. I can't recommend Certified highly enough for roof and skylight replacement, especially if you want the best install possible for Certified Roofing products.

I enjoyed working with Certified. The crew was great, professional and responsive. They left our premises spotless, not a nail in sight. The job was completed in one day, as they started early morning and worked until 8:30 PM. The only thing that was not gotten to was some flashing which they have to return and complete. Tom, the owner puts in the contract “job complete to customers satisfaction” and he really delivers. I recommend working with them!

Certified, Inc. was very responsive throughout the process and offered cheaper services than a competitor. I was really impressed with Tom and his team from initial damage, insurance negotiation, and the actual repairs.

The job went exceptionally well! Certified allowed a variance to the original schedule due to unplanned surgery. On the appointed date, the crew arrived on time and went about their work expeditiously and efficiently. They stayed on site for 12 hours finishing everything except one cap piece. The crew chief showed up the next morning and completed the work in less than an hour. Would hire Certified again and recommend same to others.

I spoke with several roofing companies before going with Certified. I found them professional and responsive, patiently answering my questions about the work and costs, and they offered a quality product -- architectural shingles -- at a competitive price, coming in below other estimates by as much as a few thousand dollars. Coordination of appointments with their office was hassle-free; they reminded me well in advance of the dates of my initial consultation and of the actual work, and they sent the invoice for work done, which came in on budget, the very next day after the work was complete. The crew was punctual, courteous and fast, finishing the job in a single day and even managing to clean up the yard just as an imminent rainstorm began to blow in that evening. Random nails and other debris around the property was minimal (found just a nail or two on the lawn). I had a positive experience with Certified and would not hesitate to use their services again or recommend them. A+.

Certified delivered materials on a Tuesday then completed the job in one day on the following Thursday. Approximately 1100 square feet of roof on the townhouse. The work looks excellent, they were easy to work with and included a long term warranty transferable to next homeowner. Their price was within a couple hundred of other contractors but the service, workmanship, and warranty provided value exceeding expectations.
