We worked with Lorraine (who was wonderful) and talked about options before signing and paying our deposit. We got to pick out a sink from a full range of options in their store, and she advised us clearly on what type of faucet and disposal to buy. I was really glad we got to do our own shopping for the faucet since I had a specific one in mind. They schedule the guy to measure and plot our counters right away- he was great and the process was cool to watch. They were even patient with me when I changed my mind about wanting the large basin on the other side and adding a soap dispenser. They came back a week later to install our Corian countertops and the plumber came the next morning (standard to wait a day until everything settles and the adhesives cure) to install the faucet and disposal. The counters are beautiful and every detail and edge is perfect. I thought we'd have to do major painting on our walls around the counter, but you can't even really tell they did anything, they were so careful ad professional. I highly recommend Cabinet Discounters!

Had a wonderful experience with Teresa in picking out Kitchen cabinets and countertop. She was extremely helpful in coming out to the house to confirm measurements and offer suggestions. Teresa was also wonderful in keeping our budget in mind and making alternative suggestions to acheive our goals and still stay withing budget. We had another contractor install the cabinets so I cannot speak to that service but the countertop install was flawless. I really can't say enough good things about our experience with Cabinet Discounters and Teresa!

It is beautiful and I am very pleased with it. They did a nice job with that. Their customer service is excellent. Their salesman was very helpful.

Flooring was installed in Oct, cabinets went in Thanksgiving week, but countertop (ordered in advance by designer in hopes to save time) did not fit, had to be remade, and finally got intalled in Dec. The "1 to 2 day" install grew to 5 workdays strung out over 7 weeks. Their office computer and voicemail issues delayed orders and "ate" our final design plans. Teresa tried to remedy problems as they arose and never hesitated to drive over to inspect the work being done when asked. Their crews were polite and meticulous, and their carpentry crew is amazing. Aside from the countertop mishap, all went pretty well for a renovation. After all, renovations never get finished on schedule, do they? In the end, the finished room turned out beautiful and exceeded our expectations.

Everything was absolutely perfect. The countertop was a manmade stone. The countertop was so perfectly installed that we can't even see the seam where it was put together.

I met personally with Matt Simms at least four times. He traveled to my home once to measure my kitchen and I called him with questions perhaps a dozen times. Mr. Simms was a quintessential professional, who was always knowledgeable, patient and courteous. Perhaps Matt Simms' strongest skill is the ability to listen. He helped me design a kitchen that fills all of my requirements.

We compared Cabinet Discounters with two other companies to see who would provide the best service. From the minute we met Lorraine at Cabinet Discounters in Columbia, we felt very comfortable with her. After helping us design our new kitchen and provide us with an estimate, we checked two other companies. By far, Cabinet Discounters had the better price, but what really sold us was the knowledge, professionalism, and attentiveness of Lorraine. It was extremely easy to work with her. When the work started, it took exactly 5 days to complete it. The countertops were installed in one day; the backsplash took two days - the installer, Benito, did a beautiful job; and the flooring was installed in one day, even though 2 days were allotted. The contractors that Cabinet Discounters used were all terrific. The installers were very courteous and did a fabulous job.

Customer service was outstanding, they were willing to do whatever it took to make sure I was happy with the new granite top. You don't often see this kind of personalized service, from both the sales shop and the fabrication shop.

We had shopped around for new countertops at the usual places. My wife is a real shopper so we looked at a number of national and local retailers, including internet. We settled on Cabinet Discounters mainly because they carried the color my wife liked. As luck would have it, she picked out one of the lower priced options. If you are thinking about replacing countertops, I urge you to shop around and look at all companies and stones available. There is a vast difference in price. Also, be aware of the installation costs which are considerable. While we used Cabinet Discounters (subs) to remove and dispose of the old countertops and to install, we did not use their reconnect service. Their estimate was about $400 to $450 and we had a plumber do the work for $239. A lot of the experience is colored by the people with whom you deal. At Cabinet Discounters, we dealt with Christa Vent in Columbia. I was amazed with her patience and impressed with her follow through.

This company was professional in all respects The designer did an excellent job of drawing up a good design within our budget, was available for questions before and during the renovation. All items came in on schedule, with only very minor damage to one cabinet door that is being replaced. The crew was on-time, cleaned up after themselves, and were always willing to answer questions. The installation department set up a schedule and stuck to it. Entire job was completed in less than one month. Even with the caveat that all jobs may not go as smoothly as this one, I still would not hesitate to recommend the company to others. They were reasonably priced (middle range of 3 bids) and easy to deal with.

I THOUGHT THAT THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB, AND WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE OUTCOME OF THE KITCHEN. THEY WERE COURTEOUS BY CLEANING UP AND GOT THE JOB DONE. THEY WERE ON TIME. I WAS SO PLEASED THAT I EVEN REFERRED THEM TO A FRIEND OF MINE.

THE SALES PERSON WAS VERY NICE AND KNEW RIGHT WAY WHICH COMPANY TO USE WHEN I EXPLAINED MY SIZE CONSTRAINTS. THE CABINET ARRIVED WHEN PROMISED AND WAS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.
