Bode Floors

Description of Work: Have dealt with Bode many times over the years, for carpeting, tile, and hardwood flooring. Always a good experience--not necessarily the cheapest, but never have had a callback. You get what you pay for.

Description of Work: Pete Ross at Bode Floors in Annapolis worked with me to ensure that carpet and wooden flooring was installed in my new home on a tight schedule. After I picked out the carpeting I wanted, Pete visited my "soon to be home" to measure the room sizes. While there, he explained that he could arrange to have the same type of wood flooring installed in the living room and dining room as was in the foyer and hallway in the house. I decided to have the wood floor installation done in addition to new carpeting in the bedrooms. I explained to Pete that I needed to have the installation done within two days following settlement on the house -- he assured me that doing that was no problem. He was right. The workmen arrived at my new home when they said they would and did a great job. During the installation of the wooden floors, I decided that I wanted the installation to cover a larger area and immediately called Pete. He worked with the installers to ensure that they picked up the additional materials that day and finished the job as scheduled. The floors look great!

Description of Work: Replaced carpet in family room and entire 2nd floor (large master bedroom and 3 add'l bedrooms, hallways, staircase). We ordered the new "smartstrand" carpet with moisture protected pad--which has been amazing, by the way! Bode salesperson was very responsive, good follow up, arranged schedule for installation to meet my particular requests--even around busy holiday time. Last time, I had carpet installed in basement by Home Depot and swore I'd never use them again. I'm willing to pay a little bit more, if necessary, for a company who will stand by their work and be sure their customer is satisfied. The carpet was installed on time, area cleaned thoroughly and I had no issues or complaints whatsoever. Installers were polite and careful with my house (walls, etc). I'd use them again next time, for sure!
