Description of Work: This company replaced my kitchen vinyl floor and plywood subfloor, then installed new subfloor and new vinyl floor. In a second stage they installed carpeting in two rooms. They corrected problems that occurred with the kitchen floor to my satisfaction, including a small refund. Old carpeting was removed in 2 rooms, and new carpeting installed without incident.

Description of Work: I always prefer to use a private company rather than a big chain store if I can. We went to Bode Floors and our first visit went fine. We were given good counsel as we chose flooring for the main level of our home. Then the frustration began. The other people in the store do not "support" other sales staff; so I could not reach my rep, was not allowed her cell phone, nor could [would] anyone give her a message. Really? Today? I needed to tell the sales rep where to park so her car would not be towed. Which I did when she arrived, so it added 10 minutes to the meeting time. Ok. No biggie. Then, over the next week, I called the store twice trying to reach my rep, and again, I could not get her cell number nor could I leave a message. Arg! So we went to the Vertical Connection/Carpet One and had a wonderful buying/installation experience. They were fabulous. Sorry Bode. Customer service is everything, and your system isn't set up for that.

Description of Work: Installation of vinyl flooring was done in a timely manner and we were very happy with the results. The problem was with the installers who put in the carpet. Damaged wall and broke a stair bannister. The installers denied doing any damage even when we showed them the damage prior to them leaving our home. Bode repairman showed up to do repairs hours after agreed upon 2 hour "window" .

Overall we were happy with our experience. We were not happy with the person who was to come out and measure, since she called 5 minutes before our scheduled appointment to tell us she could not make it and would have to reschedule, that was very annoying and unprofessional to call so late. Our salesmen was awesome. We went in thinking we wanted one type of flooring and after speaking with the salesmen, we came away with a completely different flooring based on his suggestions. The installers were on time, but instead of two showing up only one was there initially and then the second guy showed up later. My husband and I feel that had both installers been there on time, the job would have been finished earlier than it was. The end result was we have great looking floors and we feel that we got our monies worth. Even though we were unhappy with a couple of issues, I would recommend Bode Floors.
Description of Work: This is the 2nd time we have used Bode Floors. The first time they redid our kitchen floor and this time we had two bathroom floors replaced with Dura Ceramic. The installers did a great job and we love the way the floors look in both bathrooms.

I HAVE USED THIS COMPANY TWICE BEFORE AND LOVE THEM. I CALLED THEM, AND THEY CAME OUT THE NEXT DAY. THEY SAID IT WOULD BE FOUR WEEKS FOR THE CARPET TO BE ORDERED. AFTER THE CARPET WAS INSTALLED, THEY CAME BACK FREE OF CHARGE TO REPAIR A MISCALCULATION.
