Description of Work: He came out to give an estimate for a job and he was acting like I didn't have the money for the work, like I couldn't afford his "top quality" services. I wouldn't want anybody to do any work with him.

Description of Work: On behalf of my 17 townhouse condo association, I hired Blue Sky painters to do the exterior painting of all 17 units. It was a big job and Blue Sky performed beautifully. Tom, the owner, did a great job of coordinating. He put two solid crews on the job. It went very smoothly and all residents were very pleased. How often does that happen?! I highly recommend Blue Sky.

Description of Work: Good work overall on outdoor carpentry and painting. Easy to work with. Only problem was that they weren't able to make a door they worked on airtight. It leaks cold air from the outside into the basement.

Description of Work: They repaired water damage and painted a small upstairs bathroom. They were polite, clean, and efficient. However, they had 3 workers on the job, and not all of them could fit in the bathroom at once, so one was always outside. The price seemed high to me, and I think the cost of that extra person was part of the problem. Overall, they did meet my short timeline, and the bathroom looks great.

Description of Work: They painted 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We also had them paint living room, dining room, kitchen, stairway and family room six months before that. They also added chair rail and crown molding in formal areas. They started and ended on time, cleaned up everything each day and were very polite and professional.

Description of Work: We were thoroughly pleased with the work Raul and Jesus performed when they painted our recreation room. My wife the bargain hunter, called several painters until she was satisfied with their responses. We were so pleased that they came back the next day to paint 3 bathrooms. Their work was flawless and impeccable and they cleaned up after themselves. In addition, they did not nickel and dime us for small items.

When I first made the initial call to the company, I was able to schedule a free consultation on the site for the estimate within days of my call. Tom, the owner, performed the estimate and the feeling I had immediately was that I wanted to work with him/his company. He and his team were professional and courteous from start to finish. I was able to schedule the paint job fairly quickly. They accommodated me for some special requests regarding the timing to start the work. They beat me to the site on the day they were scheduled. From the moment of my first handshake with the lead painter, Raul, I knew these guys could be trusted. About six of them showed up and they immediately prepared the space for the task at hand. They communicated well with one another and did not waste any time. This experience was a bit daunting for me only because I had not fully decided on the color of the rooms when they arrived nor did I have the paint for them. With this said, Raul remained patient, supportive and informative throughout the process while I tried to make the final decisions and have all that they needed to begin. They took an entire day (Saturday) and even needed to return to finish the work on Sunday as the walls were needing additional paint/prep due to the debris/dirt on them. I was truly amazed at the finished project. My office space looked fabulous when they finished. They were meticulous in their work and they left the space exactly how they found it. Every day I come to work I thank them mentally and my clients continually comment on the wonderful up-grade to the space.
Description of Work: Interior painting of approximately 700 sq feet of office space ~ a massage therapy/wellness practice in Bethesda, MD. This included two treatment rooms, foyer, reception area, work station, bathroom and hallway.

Their estimator, Kevin, came out right away and followed up shortly after with a written estimate to perform the work on our house. Their price was very fair, and I was pleased that they were willing to perform a small job. The painter showed up on time, and did a great job. We had a great experience with Bluesky, and we will definitely use them again in the future. A++++++.
Description of Work: Blue Sky repaired some paint around our front door which was bubbling and peeling, and also painted our front door.

In addition to pressure washing my house siding, his staff also repaired my outdoor steps. They did a very nice job. I can recommend this company, as they were punctual, professional, and pleasant to work with.

They were quiet (no radios), neat, covered everything with plastic and drop cloths, cleaned up after and didn't leave a speck of anything behind. I felt like I got an excellent return for my money! All the painting looks perfect with no signs of what was there before. I would highly recommend Blue Sky to anyone.
Description of Work: I had four small tasks to be done: repair and repaint the living room ceiling (after water dammage from an upstairs bathroom leak). do some minor repairs and repaint a bedroom ceiling (again, some water damage, remove and seal over about 2 dozen spots where my daughter had decorated her ceiling with glo-in-the-dark frogs, fix a popped nail and caulk the crown molding where needed). fix a crack in the wall on both sides of a dressing area/bathroom, repaint the wall and fix the door that wouldn't close. glue several loose bathroom tiles and re-grout and re-caulk. Blue Sky provided all paint, Benjamin Moore, mixed to my specifications.

Tom clearly communicated how the work would be done, made suggestions on how we could improve the look of our house and was a pleasure to deal with. The painters were prompt, professional and courteous and ensured that we were completely satisfied with the job. Their painting was very neat and they cleaned up the work area after the job. After the painting was completed, Tom called us to follow up and discuss the project. Everything looks fantastic! We plan to hire Blue Sky to paint the interior of our home in the summer or fall and will recommend them to our friends and neighbors.
Description of Work: Blue Sky painted our exterior shutters, which are hinged and require both sides to be painted.
