Great communication!

We had water coming in to the basement from the ground of our new home. After we spent a ton of money remediation the resulting mold, we had to figure out how to prevent more groundwater from making it's way inside. We got an estimate from one company, but it became clear that they didn't know the real source of the water. We called a second company, which gave a rational explanation and plan to waterproof, but the price was too high. Then we called Best Buy, we met Jay and everything was just right. Jay was very friendly, he explained what the problem was and had a clear cut plan to resolve the issue. Just as important, he got us approved for a great deal and came in about $1500 cheaper than the other company. (He didn't even know about the other estimate, he was just eager to help a first time homeowner get out of a hole.) Also, when we had a follow up question about out sump pump, Jay didn't just drop us because he'd made the sale. I called after hours, not expecting to get a call back until the next day. Instead Jay called me within 30 minutes and took the time to answer my questions. We really appreciated it and it made me sure that we made the right choice. Since the repair, we've had a few storms and everything has held up. The next big test will be when we power wash the house, but with Best Buy's phenomenal warranty, I am not worried. Finally, the crew that did the work were great. They cleaned up when they were done and Hamilton (Hammy) made sure to run through things with us. He was also very sweet to my elderly mother.

We had a basement waterproofing issue. Shopped around a couple of companies. With the best rating on google, and with good reason, Best Buy Waterproofing was our choice. Rob was knowledgeable, diligent, patient and open towards our questions and concerns. Best experience I had with any company rep to date. He came out twice to our place (once the first time to look at the issue, second before he took the work to make sure we all are on the same page.) And then he was there before the work was started to make sure all of us were on the same page. The crew that came out (Darwin, Juan, Raul, Hammie, Chilo) were very careful about their work, respectful, and meticulous. They plastic sealed the work area to prevent dirt, and broom cleaned the area after they were done. Even after the work was done and the transaction was completed, Rob came out to check the work and to make sure it was up to his standard. He olso brought with him the mold treatment up on my request and took care of that as well. Thank you Rob! I highly recommended Best Buy.

Rich was very prompt in making the estimate appointment. He clearly laid out the scope of work and provided solid reasoning for the specific remedies to our problem. In this case it was water seeping into our basement and garage where it sat below grade. The work began within a couple of weeks and was finished in one day. The crew, led by Hamilton, was professional and very efficient, and made sure to address any concerns along the way. Despite the rain that day, that created a lot of mud in the work areas, they had drop cloths covering the floors, shelves and furniture, and gave a pretty thorough clean at the end of the project. We were pleased to also learn that they do reframing, wallboard and floors, and may use them for that purpose as well.

Fixed our leak! So happy

I had a great experience with Best Buy waterproofing. I contacted them for inspection due to water rising underneath my tile in the basement. They responded very quickly and had someone out for the inspection a day later. Ed completed my inspection and was very informative and communicative throughout the whole process. He didnâ t try to scare me into getting any services and was very patient with me. Any questions I had he was on it and available. When I made my final decision it was quick and a painless process. The crew cleaned up well and walked me through the work they had done. They installed a new drain and sump pump. Might I add they made my installation very esthetic by placing the line in the wall to hide the pipes when the dry wall is replaced. I will definitely recommend to friends and family!

Best Buy Waterproofing called me within minutes of my request. They came out the next day, gave me an estimate which I believed to be fair and reasonable since I did not have time to get several quotes. We set up an appointment and arrived at the specified time. The job was completed in about 2 hours and after a few days of intensive rain I did not experience any problems. They recommended another contractor to complete the repairs to the wall which was also done reasonably. I’m very satisfied with their work.

Exceeded my expectation with waterproofing my entire basement + window wells. These guys are the real deal! I worked with Rob and I was educated and all my concerns were addressed. They do it right by you, the contract missed a window well and they were able to addressed that without having to go through a whole new quote/contract. Helped move some furniture around and left the place clean.

The work crew was organized. When they arrived on the job we walked the job and they made sure that they understood what my expectations were. There were well organized and they worked well together. they completed the installation in one day and left the job site clean.
