The person who came in to sell me the system had promised to give me things that they did not. The monthly cost has also increased steadily.

We've had them for a few years and it has been great. Everything was done well on the installation. They were quick, efficient and cleaned up. They got the service turned on that day. Everything has been really good. They were excellent. We have no idea what other companies are charging. We have talked to them a few times and we have been happy. They were late one time for a service appointment but they have been pretty good. We will continue to use them.

We moved to a new home and found existing ADT security system installed but deactivated. Called ADT to schedule a visit by their sales staff, first estimate was way above our budget so got it canceled and requested another estimate. ADT sent out a service manager, Toni who was able to fine-tune our requirements and explain, in detail, how each sensor and detector would work, she walked around the house pointing out security holes in pre-installed system. We are very happy with her recommendations, which included ADT Pulse (allows us to control the security system via phone) support. ADT tech showed up on time as scheduled and had everything setup in the house quickly but the registering sensors with ADT monitoring station took the whole day. Then the problems started, the system went down almost as soon as the tech walked out. After several techsupport called and finally a visit by ADT tech, Matt Thor, it was found that CellGuard module (which connects the entire system to monitoring station) didn't have any signal strength. Matt was excellent and was able to zero in on the problem in no time. But no matter what he tried CellGuard didn’t work. After nearly two months of tech calls and visits, we told them to take the system back, and then ADT offered to install a newer CellGuard system. Had to wait another couple of weeks to get the needed hardware but after the new CellGuard was installed the system has been working. We like the convenience of ADT Pulse and 24/7 availability of ADT Techsupport to help us with questions but after shopping around during the time ADT system was down, we found that ADT is one of the more expensive security options. But till other security agencies don't provide Pulse support, we'll stick with ADT. Bottom-line, ADT has a great security system and one of the best monitoring service but only after they can get the system installed correctly which may take months and their service comes with a premium cost.

The service was wonderful. I liked that he wasn't pushy about selling me anything I did not need. The quality has been very good, better than I had expected.

ADT came out to repair my window sensors and test my system due to having my windows replaced. My system was still under warranty, so I was not charged for the service call. The Technician who came out to check my sensors and test my alarm system was very professional and knowledgeable of what ADT had to offer as well as how the system operates. I would recommend ADT as the alarm of choice.

ADT was very good about working with me to reschedule this appointment 2-3 times because I had to coordinate with another contractor. I have had ADT systmes now in two houses over the last 15 years. I have been VERY happy with the service.

ADT is a huge company. You never know whether you are speaking with someone in MD or Outer Mongolia. If you have a false alarm, the person you speak with only knows how to call the police or not call the police. They know nothing about your system or how to help with a malfunction and give no indication that your problem matters to them. Once I had a very loud alarm screaming for nearly two hours until I was finally able to get a call back from one of their technical people to tell me how to shut it off. Another time I paid to have a new sensor installed on a door. When it failed a few months later, they wanted to charge me again for a service call to repair or replace it, although the service manager finally agreed to do it under warranty. I find dealing with this company to be very frustrating.

They are pricey, but the installation was done well. They did have to come back twice because I decided to go with a wireless system and they didn't have the equipment. I have no complaints. It was done reasonable quickly, within 4 to 5 hours. They did a good job. They showed up on time.

The experience was great. They were very punctual on the initial visit. The only problem was that they didn't have all parts. They had to come back out for a follow up because of that. They installed the security system but only had one of the two intercom systems. They had to come back a week later and install the second intercom. There was only one installer and he seemed professional. There were three visits. The representative came out on the first visit to talk to us about what we wanted in a security system. He was great. The setup was great. He explained everything to us after he was done with the installation.

We've had nothing with problems ever since the system was installed. There has been one problem which they came out several times to fix and weren't able to do so and so they just disconnected it. It's been an overall bad experience. There was another problem that we had and they came out to fix it but it broke a couple of days later.

ADT is a good company for this service. They are on top of all the new security devices and you can add them on to the package you have. I really like the motion sensor that I had them install. It is a good thing to have.

The technician that came out was very prompt and efficient. He arrived when he was supposed to and did everything that they said that they would. He explained the system in great detail to me.

I switched monitoring services to one of their competitors because one time when there was a false alarm no one was dispatched. Between this and the fact that they raised their prices one month about $10 more than the month before, I decided it was time to go somewhere else for my security needs.

ADT has a quick response time. This makes me feel more secure. I know that they will respond immediately if there is anything wrong. In this instance the police got here within 5 minutes. They also came out quickly to replace the alarm that another service had taken down. We pay them a monthly fee.

We genuinely like ADT as a security system and have never had a problem with either their customer service or the system itself. The price we get per month is good and I would recommend this security to anyone.

ADT installed my security system 18 years ago. I have kept them on for monitoring because they do a good job. I have not had any problems with my system or the company. I would recommend them.

Had a little problem getting the estimate done. The first person never showed up. The second person showed up an hour late. We decided to sign with this company because the quote was $599. However, when they came to install the system, we were told the standard keypads would not fit the exiting keypad holes so we needed to upgrade at an additional cost of $255. We were also told at the time of installation we had to add a DSL filter at an additional cost of $55. In addition we had to buy two smoke detectors at the cost of $198 at the time of installation because the installer said our current smoke detectors are hardwired to the house and are not part of the alarm system. The cost of this system ended up to be far more than the estimates we received from them and other alarm companies. Therefore, I don't trust the sales representatives. Installer did good work.

I fired ADT and joined Guardian, because ADT wanted to replace my whole system.

Very well. The ADT representative and installer showed up when they said they would, were very professional and left us with a positive feeling about this new service.

We moved into our house which had a prior ADT system, so we inherited the system. I called to have it activated, and had a very pleasant conversation with the salesman on what I was looking for. He was responsive and met me at the time we had scheduled. Unfortunately that is where any good, even average service from ADT stopped. I took a vacation day to wait for the installers and finally received a call at 2 pm stating that my parts were not all in and they would not be coming out that day. I called to reschedule and had to leave a message (funny to me), and when I was called back I was on my cell phone with no calendar available (even after telling them not to call my cell phone to use my home phone). I had to commit to a date out of memory, and was forced to cancel that date due to a prior commitment. I have been unable to reach the company since for a further appointment (three calls). Oh, but they did cash my deposit check, but refuse to return any calls. Stay away from them!

I THINK THE COMPANY IS PROFESSIONAL AND THEY ARE A VERY GOOD SERVICE. I HAVE NOT USED THEM IN AN EMERGENCY BUT IT IS A COMFORT TO KNOW THAT THE SERVICE IS WORKING PROPERLY.

IT HAS BEEN IN SERVICE ABOUT 6 MONTHS. MY FATHER HAD A HEART ATTACK AND IT WAS A FAST RESPONSE SINCE I HAD THE MEDICAL ALARM SYSTEM. WE HAD THE MEDICAL TEAM THERE RIGHT AWAY.

I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE EXPERIENCE THAT I HAVE HAD WITH THIS COMPANY. THAT IS ONE OF THE REASONS THAT I HAD ADDED MORE SERVICES IN MY GUEST HOUSE.

NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE COMPANY, WHENEVER WE HAVE HAD AN ISSUE ARISE, THEY HAVE BEEN VERY RESPONSIVE. THEY DID IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS.
