A Plus Carpet & Flooring

Five years ago, Home Depot had installed new rugs in 7 rooms and staircase. This spring, every one of the installations has developed wrinkles. The wrinkles were most visible in the rooms. We got 2 estimates, and A Plus Carpet and Flooring gave us the lower price because of their $250.00 coupon on Angie's List. We found them very responsive, regarding the scheduling for the estimator and the actual work. Our staircase has a landing at midpoint where the staircase did a turn. They fixed the landing, but unfortunately, after they left, we found bubbles on some of the staircase steps. After we called them, they immediately came back and fixed the problem. We are impressed.

Justin from A plus Carpet and Flooring called ahead and verified address and arrived promptly. He was very professional as he walked through areas I wanted cleaned including letting me know areas that were extremely soiled and may not come out (I have cream color carpet). Once he provided estimate, I decided to proceed with cleaning. Justin took care to protect my hardwood floors as he brought equipment in. I had to step out to run an errand and when I returned Justin had just finished. My carpets were much better and he did a great job. I went to work and returned home in 6 hours and carpet was dry so probably took less than 6 hours to dry. I would hire this service provider again and will recommend to neighbors.

I was very impressed with the installers. Plus I was pleased that when I discovered a couple of things to be done over, the company promptly addressed the matter.

After a rough start,a plus responded. Evidently the salesman we dealt with, left APlus prior to our scheduling of the installation which caused some confusion. After a couple of phone calls, APlus resolved all issues. The refinished floor was done by Santos who was a true professional. The carpet was installed by Oscar and crew. They were tremendous. Removed all of the furniture and replaced when finished. All in all an excellent job. Would definitely use again.

The A Plus employee (Roger) who came to the house arrived on time to take measurements. He interacted with my husband. My husband found him to be professional. He told my husband he would email an estimate to us within a few days. The following week I phoned A Plus to ask for the estimate. Twice I was told a message was left for Roger and that he would return my call. When I didn't hear anything, I stopped into the showroom to see if I could get the estimate there. I spent several minutes in the (empty) showroom and was not approached by anyone, so I started to leave. A salesman then approached me, said Roger wasn't in and left a message for him. I never heard back UPDATE: Within 24 hours of posting this review, someone from A Plus called to discuss my review. He was apologetic that I was unhappy with the service they provided and told me someone emailed an estimate on 8/7. I went back and checked my inbox, junk box and deleted messages but I didn't have anything from A Plus. This company has many good reviews, so perhaps this was just an unusual experience. However, because I found the customer service to be lacking I felt it was important to add this review so people could be made aware. In response to the message from the office manager below, I also take "any degree or form of character defamation" seriously. I am an honest person and did not write this review with ill intent. I simply wrote it in response to an experience in which I found customer service lacking. I do not appreciate the implication that my review is slanderous.

as always they showed up quick and did a good job for a fair price. only complaint? can showing up too quick be a complaint? we weren't quite ready for them,but he helped me move the large furniture items in the living room and we got it done. we use them once or twice a year depending since we have pets.

We dealt primarily with Eric Rome of A Plus Carpet and Flooring. He was an excellent communicator and an honest broker. He taught us about different carpet textures, densities, and styles. He heard our pattern of life and assessed our needs and wants...he provided several alternatives which suited our needs. He was patient with our decision process. Once the decision was made and the down payment provided, Eric had his installers ready to go. The A Plus installers were prompt, professional, and courteous. They worked quickly without sacrificing quality. The hardwood looks great and the carpet is walking on pillows. Without hesitation...strongly recommend A Plus!

They were available earlier than the time we had set for the cleaning. They called earlier than that time to say that if it would work for us, they would be able to come an hour earlier. They arrived at the scheduled time. Tim and Justin were professional, efficient and did a good job. They remembered that they had been to our house previously when we had a problem with flooding earlier this year and required mold cleanup and installation of new carpeting. We do recommend A Plus Carpeting to our friends and will continue to use their services.

Initially this wasn't the best experience. Everyone who worked at the company was pleasant and courteous but the salesman I worked with wasn't professional or responsive. He was my main point of contact so I was very frustrated by lack of communication from him. It took a lot of back and forth, 10+ calls with only one call back, to finally get an appointment. Although the price was fair and work was done well, I was very unhappy and planned on never using this company again. However, after I posted about my experience the owner of the company contact me personally and apologized. He assured me that this isn't how the company does business and that my experience was not common. He even offered me a partial refund to compensate me for the time wasted. Just based on this brief interaction with him, I believe that my initial experience was atypical. He didn't have to reach out to me but he did which says a lot about him and his company. If I ever did need a service like this again, I would use this company.

Excellent service with a reasonable price and timely response. I had to have entire 3 floor town home done before new tenants moved in and A Plus was very efficient.

Great install. The crew arrived on time and did a great job. The pricing on a super-high quality carpet was great. Ask about any specials. I'm about to have them replace hardwoods, and I'm sure they will do a great job.

We have gotten estimates for refinishing 3 rooms of hardwood floors, and then putting in new wood floors in 3 other rooms- then staining to match. ?We also got a carpeting estimate for 5 rooms and a few hallways which will range between about $3600 and $4600 depending on which carpet we go with. ?The only issue I had was that it took about 6 days for them to get back with the carpet estimate- but the price seems good.

Ryan did the estimate for A Plus. He called ahead to ask questions about what I was looking for, so that he'd have a better idea of what samples to bring along, thereby making the most of our time. He was very knowlegeable about the carpet/brands he represented. Ryan was very pleasant, professional, and wanted to share/educate us about the various types of carpeting. He was very patient while I picked out the color. There was absolutely no sales pressure. I also received estimates from 2 other top rated carpet installers from Angie's List. One even matched A Plus' estimate! I called Ryan to let him know I wasn't sure who to go with, so he lowered the price by $100. I still wasn't sure since I knew the lowest price doesn't necessarily mean the best deal. I asked around & a friend of mine recommended A Plus. They installed his commercial flooring & he was very pleased. Given this, I chose A Plus and I wasn't disappointed. Jose & Pasquel did the install & were very pleasant, professional & worked very hard to get the job done in a day. They seemed to care about doing a good job (such an uncommon thing these days). They were still pleasant even at the end of the day while they were working with me to put the furniture back in its original position. I can't be more pleased with the A Plus team. I understand they also offer carpet cleaning services. Will keep their name in my Rolodex. I would wholeheartely recommend them to anyone who wants a quality, professional team who demonstrates a desire to do a good job.

Very professional and helpful team at A plus. Their workers are extremely diligent, courteous and hardworking. They were prompt, polite and professional. Went out of the way to ensure customer satisfaction. Will definitely reach out to them again in the future. This was my 2nd professional interaction with them, they had installed new carpets for me a while back. So I am a repeat customer.

A plus did a good job scheduling the carpet install around a somewhat difficult tenants schedule. Install went well.

A-Plus was able to install tack strips, stretch and install carpet and then follow up the next day with steam cleaning. It was nice to find one company who could do both. My main complaint was the amount of time it took to schedule the work after I submitted my contract.

They were really good.? They did an excellent job, the pricing was good.? The customer service was good. ?They really did a good job. ?I like the way they treated me.? They were awesome, I would use them and I would recommend them to my mother, my sister, my neighbors, and my friends, and they were very good. ?The price was very good when you compare it to other people that I?ve checked out. ?The going in, talking with the sales guy to the people that came out and install the carpet, they left my house very clean, they left my area very clean, they were very courteous.? They are the best that I?ve ever used in my house.

I had recently purchased a townhome and the first floor hardwood was beat - any polish on it was just about gone and there were some spots near the front and rear doors where heavy traffic was that looked pretty worn. None of the hardwood was damaged, though, which was a huge plus. It was just simply old. I called A Plus and I was already familiar with them as they are next door to the gym I go to. I spoke with Brian Wheeler, the sales rep and he scheduled a time to come out and assess my floor. Brian took measurements and to my surprise we were able to schedule his crew to come out in less than a week. Brian explained that it would take 3 days to fully resurface, stain and polish the floor. The crew came exactly when they said they would and did all the work. The home was vacant so I didn't need to worry about them trying to work in between our living arrangements. The end result is that our flooring looks absolutely fantastic, better than I could have ever imagined, and better than the brand new hard wood we just installed upstairs in a master bedroom. For the quality of the work and the end result I couldn't be any happier and the price paid is right on target with fair market pricing for hardwood resurfacing. I highly recommend A Plus and would use them for anything related to carpet or flooring in the future.

I am in the process of fixing our home up for sale and through out all the stress and problems, A Plus Carpet & Flooring was a bright shinning star. Rosmary of A Plus was wonderful to work with. She came to my home on time and spent time talking with me and explaining what I needed to know. Her team came to our home on time the morning of our install and went right to work and they worked all day and well into the night (8:00 to be exact) and when the stopped for the night they left our home in clean condition. They arrived back the following morning to complete the job and I cannot tell you how nice and professional they were. Such a delight to have them in my home. Our carpet and flooring they laid is outstanding! Everyone that has seen it is amazed at what a fantastic job they did. You cannot see any seams in the vinyl or carpet and they even did some custom fitting. The foreman Franklin stopped by during the project and was so helpful and made sure that we had the correct little finishing details such as 1/4 round strips that matched our cabinets and lovely kick boards under our appliances. I am still in awe of the marvelous job they did and I love, love, love the new flooring. A Plus Carpet & Flooring will always be my first choice and the only company I reccommend to others for carpet & flooring.

The installation exceeded all my expectations. The work was completed faster and with better quality than I believed possible. The installed floors are beautiful. There was no damage to house walls, as is typical with this type of installation. The craftsman were fast and organized. The installation was perfect. Six months later, no deficiencies have been observed.

They were on time, carpets beautiful and well installed.? The installation crew and the Salesman were all friendly and knew their trade.? Very impressed on all levels.? Price was almost 4,000. less than what was quoted by Empire for a better quality carpet.? I would recommend them without reservation.

I have used A Plus carpet in the past to install carpet and to refinish hardwood floors at multiple residences and was completely satisfied with their work. So it was a no brainer to decide to use them when I found out that they also cleaned carpet. I had been pet sitting and had a dog hair in the carpet along with few stains where the dog had a few accidents. I was satisifed with everything except for the job that was done in the basement which had the bulk of the dog hair. After A Plus was done cleaning the carpets, they informed me that they couldn't get up all the hair in the basement and that I would need to vacuum. So my supposed cleaned carpet still had dog hair. If I would have known beforehand when we did the walk through that I would need to vacuum up the pet hair I would have while they worked on other areas of the house. I guess this is a lessoned learned.

It was excellent. ?The men were very professional. ?They cleaned up afterwards, there was no damage of furniture or anything, they put everything back in its proper place. ?The service was excellent and I certainly would use them again. ?I plan for them to install the same hardwood flooring in three other rooms in my house.
