I highly recommend A Plus. Their attention to detail and responsiveness to questions and follow-up is outstanding. Eric is the owner of the company, and he clearly sets the tone. He is committed to making sure the customer gets quality service. Keenan patiently and competently works with you to set up the design and materials. Franklin coordinates the installation. All 3 gentlemen are courteous, responsive and professional - everything you could ask for in a home improvement company.

They did an excellent job, we are extremely happy with everything. The product and the workmanship were excellent. They did what they said they would do and more. They brought samples over to the house so we could see how it looked. They went beyond expectations . I would definitely recommend them and use them again for other work in my home.

It is clear that the owner of this company (Mr. Eric Rome) is the heart and soul of A Plus carpet and flooring. Immediately after being made aware of my review, he personally contacted me and asked to come out and see what had happened. At that meeting, he addressed all of my concerns, specifically articulating the steps the company has made (and are making) to insure the details in my first review are not ever repeated. His attentiveness, passion, and desire to put the customer first renewed my faith in the company and gave me a substantial reason to update this review. I unequivocally believe that positive steps have been made in their QC process, and the company is a better one for it. I especially liked the desire to improve, and I have no doubt that every other customer will benefit from this event. Of particular note, I want to call out the professionalism of the workers who installed the carpet, as they did an exceptional job (and were the epitome of efficiency and professionalism). During the initial install, my wife and I wanted one level of carpet in the master bedroom, with another level of carpet in the other bedrooms. We were told that the carpet in the master bedroom was the better of the two carpets, even though it was obvious that the feel of the carpet was not as soft as the smaller bedrooms (the pad was the same). Additionally, it was quite obvious that the carpet was two different colors in the master bedroom when a seam was put together. That started a saga of how to have the carpet replaced. In addition to an inordinate amount of time to have the carpet inspected and then authorized for replacement (the two tone in the MBR) we were also told that the carpet in the master was still the better of the two carpets (hard to believe when you walked on both in comparison). However, when the carpet installers FINALLY came back to fix the companies mistake (almost two months later), I was told that the carpet that I had originally been emphatically told was the more expensive carpet was in fact a cheaper brand. This was after I had to take a second day off to insure the carpet could be replaced, so you could imagine how violated that felt. The sad part about this, is even after this fairly long debacle, I was not offered any compensation. To say the least, the QC for this company is a failure, and the customer support is pathetic. I will not ever use this company again, and I would urge any potential customers to be extremely wary of any dealings with this company.

The entire process from picking out carpet that was in my price point to getting it scheduled and installed went very well. We were very happy with the install with the exception of one very visible seam in the middle of the hallway. I called about this initially and spoke with Scott and was told that seams were part of getting a carpet installed but I just felt this one was way more visible than the others. I called back a couple weeks later and spoke with Scott again as I couldn't let it go. I sent a picture and email of the seam and someone called me back the next day to have someone come out and fix it. They came out today and fixed this seam. It looks great! Thank you so much!

We visited their showroom on Red Branch Road and were impressed with the courtesy and professionalism provided by a member of their staff named Keenan. We then set a date for Keenan to come to our house and do the measurements. Keenan arrived promptly on the established date and time, quickly took our measurements and within a couple of days we had our estimate. Once we paid our deposit, the carpeting was ordered and as soon as it arrived, the install date was set for the very next day. The installer was very professional and did an outstanding job. We would definitely use A Plus for our next flooring job.

The original work was amazing; however in the last year the vents they installed started falling apart. Each individual slat is glued so over time the heat makes the glue brittle and many of the vents are easily damaged if someone walks across a vent. Even a vent that is under a chair and is rarely touched cracked when the floors were being vacuumed. Considering they are drop in floor vents, we had vents breaking. I called A Plus and asked for replacement vents but they didn't have any in stock. I found a company online that made custom vents and had the vents delivered unfinished. Eric Rome the owner of A Plus cut and stained the vents to match the original flooring. They look great!

Steve, the manager, was very professional, friendly and helpful throughout the process, as was our saleman. Steve even gave me his cell phone number so I could reach him easily if necessary. There was no pressure to select them for the job, and they were easy to work with. They even gave us a discount for paying by check instead of credit card. The two men who came for the installation worked very hard for 2 straight days in late August. I don't know where their stamina came from to work 12-15 hour days! They had forgotten about the spray barrier, so I called our salesman, who suggested they use KILZ instead. They painted the original wood floors with KILZ, and we haven't detected any odor in the summer, when the heat would bring it out. They made a couple small mistakes with the quarter-round molding, and Steve sent them back out to fix these. During the winter, bubbles appeared on the floors upstairs. They ranged from a few inches in diameter to 8" in oblong length. I also discovered a tear behind the front leg of the couch. The flooring has a 10 year warranty. It's a bit soft so the weight of furniture makes indentations in the floor, as with carpet. That and the relative ease with which the vinyl tears are disappointing. Nonetheless, Steve ordered more of the vinyl and sent the same team out to replace about 5 sq feet in order to eliminate the tear under the couch and several smaller tears a few feet away, from dryer delivery. Oddly, the bubbles disappeared in the summer. We thought the glue job must have been lacking, but it appears the floors respond to dry vs humid weather, as we use very little A/C upstairs.End result?-I love the wood and stone look floors, and friends are impressed. The other pattern of little squiggles on beige looked good on the sample patch, but awful on the floors upstairs. I'm out of luck; it would be too expensive to remove the vinyl and the glue. I'm happy with this company because they have integrity; they take responsibility for anything that goes wrong and they fix it. Over 19 years in my own home, this was my first time being able to trust a home repair company outright.

I found them on Angie's List. They were very knowledgeable, provided quick service, quick installation and were very professional.

If you are looking for a great price this is the place. Quality and service depends on the flooring team you get. The office staff was very responsive on the first job hired a year prior. The second round about a year later there was no quality check at the end and no one came out from the staff to inspect before the job began. As a customer this is frustrating because not knowing what to look for leaves you with improperly installed flooring a year later that are now evident. We are now dealing with some areas of poor installation areas in the kitchen that are outside the 1 year fix time period. Slow responses and a general break down in communication regarding scheduling etc. Also the crew ran out of flooring material, they were not very clean, and I found their take out food was found in various parts of the house as well as outside both installation years. I'm not saying we wouldn't rehire the company again but for the total amount we spent on the flooring through out the house ( about 25k) I had high expectations regarding communication and timeliness on completion of the job. They did a pretty good job overall but the first year was much better than the 2nd year- again partially because of the crew and 2nd because of the lack of supervision esp. on final inspection .

A plus did a great job. We had just had the house painted from top to bottom and they were very careful not to scuff the walls or molding. I was pleased with the installation and the way they returned the house to the condition it was when they started (put closet doors back on properly, etc.). We also had A Plus clean the carpets we did not replace. The cleaning was done on time and made the remaining carpets look nice.

My husband and I are preparing our condo for sale - we needed to replace the carpet in the bedrooms. I met with Keenan to get an estimate; he was punctual, pleasant and very helpful. The process of scheduling the install was also painless and quick. The installers were also very punctual and paid attention to detail. Our bedrooms look gorgeous. I know we are going to want to replace the carpet when we move into our new house (we are picky people) and I plan on using them. I highly recommend this company.

They arrived on time, it took 3 days like they promised and it looks great! ?They don't even look like the same flooring. ?The crew who did the floors only work on floors. ?We also had carpet done a few weeks before the hardwoods and that crew only works on carpet. ?Everything went well, would use them again.

They arrived on time and moved the big pieces of furniture, we moved all of the small stuff and anything we could lift. ?They laid the carpet in three up stairs bedrooms and the master bedroom on the first floor. ?Then did the stairs. ?And a small area rug for the formal living room. ?Workmen were friendly and let me know what was going on each step of the way. Would use/recommend A Plus Carpet & Flooring again.

Very fast and responsive. The estimate process was amazing.. no games, they gave me the lowest estimate of a few places I spoke with. The carpets look great and they were installed quickly.

I was extremely impressed with the work the men did. They worked very hard and paid close attention to their work, transforming the floors to a beautiful finish. The floors were sanded and then a coating of polyurethane was put on the floors. The men came back the following day and completed the job by putting on an additional coat of polyurethane. I was impressed with how hard the men worked and how much they accomplished in such a short time. They knew what they were doing and did not waste time. Fabricio was in charge of the project and made sure I understood what the men would be doing. He and his men did an excellent job and I am so glad I had the work done by then. The carpet was installed by two men about a week later. Under the guidance of Jose, the men did an excellent job. They were incredibly professional and did their work accurately and quickly. I felt very lucky to have them do the work.

I was preparing to sell my townhouse and Ken came to give me an estimate on the work to be done. The hardwood floor in the living room and dining area needed a cleanup and Ken recommended screening the floor which was a less costly alternative to a complete sanding. The carpet in the rest of the house needed both stretching and deep cleaning. The floors in the kitchen and master bathroom needed to be replaced. A Plus did a great job on everything!

Very well. The time from order to installation was very quick. (less than 2 weeks). I had ordered some new furniture, then decided to replace the carpet. They were able to complete the job before the furniture delivery. The estimated that the installation would be completed in one day, but it took two. That was still reasonable by my estimation.

I won't give them one star as they never did an install. But, as for the sales people, the two star rating is well deserved. Based on our research on Angie's List etc, we called the company and the salesman who answered reluctantly told us that he "might as well do it himself and come out to look at the job". Far from positive or, for that matter, interested. Okay, maybe he was having a bad day. The appointment time rolls around and another salesman arrives who clearly has no idea that we were expecting to see specific types of samples, which, of course, he did not have. After his walkthrough he tells us it will be several weeks before install can be scheduled, and invites us to come to the showroom to look at samples. Okay, nice enough guy but more time investment. Pricing for the entire job was discussed, seemed reasonable, so we forged on. In the showroom we picked our product and the job total was again quoted with a promise of a written quote in email to follow. We were stunned when the written quote came in at almost double the cost for the job. No warning, explanation, no apology, just that. Subsequent emails provided explanation and brought the price down to about 30% over the first quote by changing the way carpet would be laid. They were trying, at least. You did get the sense they were frustrated that the customer just didn't understand enough about carpet - we were trying to learn but, really, it's not that complicated as we are DIY people. Perhaps a high and low quote would help the customer better understand the company's process... Finally another company rep advised that they would look at getting the price lower. When we recontacted him to see if there had been any progress, no joy. Conclusions? This was a small job and we got the sense that they weren't excited to get our business. Okay. Best to just say that up front. They won't be getting our larger jobs or our referrals either. Surprised when they asked us to rate them - but here it is!

See above. Very unresponsive on the sales side, hate to see what there response will be if something goes wrong.

Franklin came out an gave us an estimate. He was pleasant, personable, and knowledgeable about his products. He came back a second time once we selected A Plus to do the work to assist us with choosing colors and styles. On the day of installation, the installers were punctual and professional. They pleasantly moved all our furniture (at no extra cost) and completed the work in a timely fashion. The carpets look beautiful and we have had no problems.

Scheduled appointment for an estimate for work on our hardwood floors. Due to car problems, our sales person had to reschedule our initial appointment and we were happy to accommodate. When he arrived to provide the estimate a week later, however, he seemed very disinterested in our job. We were told we needed to have the floors re-screened and refinished and he said he would get back to us with an estimate. I told my husband when he left that he seemed like he didn't even want the job and apparently I was correct as we've never heard from him or his company again. Perhaps the job wasn't big enough to be worth it to his company? We'll never know. But I would have appreciated some sort of follow up letting us know that. Would not recommend.

Roger came to the house and showed me exactly what I was looking for. I did not want to look at 100 samples. Got me the best carpet for having a small dog and a good pad. We schedu When A Plus went scheduled the installation for the following Friday. The men we on time and efficient. Unfortunately, when they pulled the carpet and padding up the sub-wood flooring was covered in mold and urine stains. I had to get it replaced. They got a second crew out to the house at 7:30 am the next morning. Old ply-wood gone and new replaced. My new carpet is great. They use their own staff, no sub-contractors. I will definitely be calling them again. A very sincerely genuine local company. Thanks!
