When I called an appointment was set up for the following day. They were prompt and professional. An estimated was given to me during that initial visit. I proceded to get 3 more estimates. All were higher for approximately the same type of carpet. The only difference was the padding. I requested the type of padding I wanted and they provided it at just a slightly higher cost. I told them to go ahead. They ordered the carpeting and I only had to wait a short time before they called to install it. The crew installing the carpeting were polite, professional and friendly.

Great experience. They showed up on time for the estimate, which was roughly 30% lower than I had expected. I set an installation date of 5 weeks later, and the workmen showed up on the exact date without my ever calling to confirm the appointment. They got all of the work done in one day with no oversight; when I got home the new carpet was in and it looked terrific!

It was a positive experience because of the price and the actual work. They did what we needed them to do and took care of the issue we were having. Over all they did a good job and were helpful.

It was great. The project did take a little longer than expected but the price stayed the same. We had some problems with the tile but they fixed it and everything turned out great.

They came out the same day that I called to give me a quote. They brought all the samples so that I could choose my carpet on the spot. They installers were very professional and did a very good job.

Overall, the whole process with A+ was exceptional. Once we had finalized the selections and had been give a fair price we went ahead and gave Lou a deposit on the carpet. The carpet came in a few days and we had scheduled installation for 10 days later due to our conflicts. I had called Lou to confirm installation and he said that the carpet had come in as scheduled and the installers would be there Monday morning. They arrived on time Monday and got right to work. The men were very professional and worked into the night to complete the job. The next day I went in to the A+ office to get a small piece of my carpet that was left over in case any future repairs would need to be made. I paid the remaining balance on that day and the ladies in the office were very helpful.

The salesman, Lou Valentine, was excellent and matched our existing wood floors perfectly. A Plus came and dropped the wood off the day before we closed on the house and rushed to get everything done over the weekend before we moved in the following Monday. The installation was done wonderfully, and it looks like the hardwood was always there. The owner himself came and installed our stairs runner. A Plus did an excellent job, and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

They were able to do the job right away. We were on a tight schedule and they came when we needed them. They worked very quickly and we were pleased with their work.

Great salesman, no pressure, took time to explain the ins and outs of the job. When I complained about some of the results, the salesman returned to inspect the work the next day. Two days later, the owner of the business came out, spent several hours on his knees and fixed the problems himself. The office manager called and made sure I was satisfied before billing me for the remaining balance.

Salesman, Lou Valentine was very quick at getting back to me - he even came out the day I called. He recognized the Bruce hardwood flooring we already had in our house, down to the color and style of the strips- ours had beveled edges. He told me exactly what would be done to install the floor - take up and dispose of old carpet, use hardwood by Bruce, Bristol Strip, saddle color, 21/4" X 3/4", use the nail-down method of installation; include the 1/4" molding to match; use a cross border at the foyer and a reducer at the kitchen. He priced out the moving of the furniture which we chose to do ourselves to save money. He used his cell phone to check availability and let us know we could get the flooring to our house on Monday and have the floor installed the following Friday. His was the only company that I spoke with that brought the wood flooring 3-5 days before the installation date in order for the wood to acclimate to our house. I thought that was a very good idea and admired that this company would take the extra time to do this. Lou told me exactly how many boxes it would take for my floor. All of this was written on the proposal. Since his was the first company I had called, I called one other company and visited a third shop. The other company did not give me any information about the Bruce hardwood flooring; no details about the installation; and when I asked if the price included removing the old carpet, the answer was no! This company's price was better by a significant amount, and their reputation in Angie's was spotless, so I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt. However, after 5 days of trying to get them to write the proposal so that it was as good as the proposal Lou had given me, I gave up on them and called Lou back. We worked out the price issue and he had the wood delivered the following business day. Five days after that, 2 workman came (a little later than I expected but still in good time to finish the floor in one day) to install the floor. The senior worker was very knowledgeable, polite, and an expert craftsman. The two guys worked continuously to get the floor installed, and even though it was already 6:30 on a Friday night, the senior worker did not rush through and spent a great deal of time cleaning up and dusting off the beautiful new floor to perfection. All of the cuts and sizing of the floor, molding, and transition pieces were done with precision. The floor is gorgeous and I know it will last a lifetime.

Overall, the job was completed on time and the actual workmanship is of a good standard. However, business dealings with the company went less smooth. The salesperson showed up in a timely manner and gave a quote but did not seem very willing to break down the costs into labor, materials, etc. He only provided the information when my husband insisted. This job was split over 2 months (1 room/month) and on the first job, the installing crew showed up 1 1/2 hours after the promised time. The work was completed with good clean up. However, we were told that there was no spare wood left at all which seemed unusual. On the second job, the crew showed up on time but then ran out of wood and ended up installing a different kind of wood to finish up the job (obviously due to the salesperson's calculation). Additionally, when there were issues with the door not closing and my husband contacted the salesperson, he tried to imply that this would cost extra, etc. However, the crew came up with a solution that worked well. We definitely did not get a good feeling on the business side (they messed up our financing and had to re-do/resubmit the paperwork) and on the whole they were not very customer oriented.

Originally we had planned to remove the old carpeting ourselves and replace it with laminate flooring from IKEA. However, once we finished removing the carpeting and padding and prepping the floor, we felt a professional would be better suited to complete the project. Eric was very responsive and professional throughout the whole process. I appreciated the fact that he was willing to accommodate my request to install customer-supplied flooring, and in such a timely manner. Eric was able to give me an estimate over the phone based upon my measurements. Another company sent a salesman out to give an estimate, and that company's estimate was $450 more than A Plus. The installers were on-time, efficient and competent. After the flooring was installed they suggested that I not use the IKEA matching baseboard because it would not be durable or a good fit in the room. After a quick call to Eric he agreed to have his installers return the next morning and complete the job using new baseboard. Although this was a small job, I was very impressed with the customer service we received. The floor looks great and it was a pleasure to work with A Plus Carpet.

Lou, one of the senior installers, came out to give me the estimate. He was very helpful with regards to helping with floor, tile, and carpet selections. After signing a contract and paying the 50% deposit (final paid upon completion), his crew came in and went to work. After they finished, the floors looked amazing! I couldn't believe the difference. After everything was completed, I asked about the Angie's List discount, and they took off the $250 dollar charge for tiling around my hot tub. Needless to say, I was very happy with the work and the bill reduction.

I needed the job done quickly to prepare home for sale. I called the office and the staff was very pleasant. Pete came out the next day for an estimate. It was the best offer for the price. They were able to schedule the work quickly. The job was completed in one day with a crew of 2 workers. They did a wonderful job. Our Realtor was very impressed!

It went very well. This is a vacant house, being readied for resale. Eric was very understanding of the situation, and was able to keep costs down by using materials he in large quantities in stock The installation was very nice and it achieved the goal of making the house look updated and it was done in nice neutral colors. He also installed a nice Berber in the basement "clubroom", and the room has now gone from dark and dreary to much brighter and inviting. I liked how Eric broke out the estimate, so that I could pick what combination of rooms I wanted to do. The house looks so great that I've made everyone else take off their shoes when they come in to work! Oh, and he even took my old microwave with him to the dump as a favor, saving me having to hire someone to do it. Thanks!

A Plus Carpet was referred to us by a close friend. We called A Plus Carpet for an estimate and a professional gentleman by the name of Lou came the next day to give us some ideas of what could be done. Lou came up with some great suggestions and actually gave us a written estimate that day for the hardwood. We needed to have one room in our basement carpeted also. Lou had many samples with him but we chose to go to their showroom to see the full selection. When we went to the showroom we found exactly what we were looking for. The flooring installation went great and they even helped us move the furniture which was not required. After the installation was completed they immediately sent their carpet cleaners in to steam clean our carpets. I was so impressed by how clean my carpets turned out. I can definitely say that I am 100% pleased with A Plus Carpet. Everyone was so professional and courteous.

I called for an estimate and the owner, Eric, came out very soon, within a couple of days, with samples. Very courteous and wanted to make sure of exactly what we wanted. We scheduled a day and went away for a short trip. When we came back we had new carpet and it smelled fabulous! No pet odor! As an aside, they also put in new vinyl flooring in one of the bathrooms and new shoe molding for an additional $195.00. Very dependable, clean, reliable.
