Overall, working with the sales rep, Rosemary Anjali, was a pleasure. She was responsive and amenable to several changes to scheduling and scope of work that happened during this job. ?Aplus' installation and refinishing crews did quality work. My only gripe was some glue stains and dings on the walls and some dust that wasn't vacuumed up. She and I worked out a credit back for my time to get that cleaned up.

Rosemary Angeli came to my home and spent time going over options and quality of flooring. She was able to better the lowest estimate that we got from a competitor for the same products. She arranged all the installation and guaranteed satisfaction. The installers showed up on time and completed the jobs as scheduled. The carpet that I had before the installation was piecemealed and the seams were really tacky. The new carpet was laid down all in one piece and looks great. The result was absolutely transformative for my tired condo. I love it and feel that it will last a very long time. Extremely satisfied and would recommend them to anyone. When you call them, ask for Rosemary. She's the best!

The crew did an excellent job. They finished all three rooms in under eight hours including the cleanup.

The company was fairly accomodating with relative short notice. They did change the appointment time the day before which initially was very inconvenient but turned out to be ok. they did give me a discount for that inconvenience. The worker did remember to call me before he got there as I requested. He worked steadily and did a good job.I also had someone from the company come and measure stairs for recarpeting but never heard back from them on that so not sure if the job was too small.

We received 4 estimates from the top rated companies on Angies List. 2 out of the 4 companies did not show on time. A Plus and one other did show up with in the requested time. Pete came in with samples and a wealth of knowledge. He pointed out several details that the other company did not notice. After about an hour of questions and measurement we agreed to seal the deal. We signed the contract on a Friday and the work was to start on Monday. As agreed the work started on time Monday. The crew was nice and worked hard. First all repairs were completed and then the sanding and finishing started. Pete explained that they would use a dustless system and explained there would be little dust in the area. He should have said DUST FREE. When the sanding took place there was a little dust as expected but the little dust that remained was cleaned up 100%.The job was completed in 4 days as agreed and the job is PERFECT! I must say, this is the best flooring company that I have ever hired. I have owned several houses and have dealt with many contractors. A Plus Carpet and Flooring and Pete are a true class act. THIS COMPANY IS THE BEST!!!!!!! THANKS PETE AND A PLUS FOR THE PERFECT JOB!!!

A Plus Carpet gave us a free carpet cleaning as part of the hardwood sand and finish job that was just completed. When the sand and finish on our hardwoods was completed Pete said he would give us a free carpet cleaning in the rooms up stairs. They arrived on time with the "truck mount" system. The carpet cleaners name was Timmy and Andrew. Super nice guys. The work they did was so good we decided to spend a little extra and have our basment cleaned too. I was shocked that the stains from our kids in the bedrooms came out. I thought the free carpet cleaning was to remove any leftover saw dust but there was no tracees of the sand and finish to remove. I am happy that they gave us the carpet cleaning for free because I might have replaced my carpet due to the spots that my kids put into the carpet. I did mention to Pete that I wanted to replace the carpet but he said it could be cleaned. I was shocked because most comapnies want the money of the new carpet sale. Pete was honest and he was correct, the carpet was saved and looks great! The workmanship, price and honest of this company is 100%

I wish to commend A Plus Carpet and Flooring of Columbia, MD for an outstanding job of installing wall to wall carpet and bathroom tile in my home. In particular, I greatly appreciated Rosemary Angelica's expertise and patience in helping me select carpet and tile, and her cooperation in letting me install in stages as I remodeled my home. The SmartStrand carpet is both beautiful and luxurious. The price was fair and the installers were highly professional and competent. I whole heartedly recommend this company.

My husband and I wanted to get the floors in my office sanded and stained. We heard mostly good reviews about this company, but after this experience, we feel we should have paid more attention to the criticism. When we got the estimate for the job, the room was empty and the floors were ready (no carpet). The rep promised us beautiful floors for a good price so we went with this company. We scheduled the work for Thursday, May 10th and Friday, May 11th because it was the two days off my husband had that week. A Plus Carpet & Flooring told us our dogs could not be in the house so we put them up in boarding. The morning of Thursday, May 10th A Plus Carpet & Flooring called to say they would not be able to come out because they double booked jobs. They said they could come out Monday, but my husband and I had to work on Monday. I told them to cancel the contract, but they offered us $50 off our job and said they could get it all done on Friday, May 11th. I asked him why they booked our job for two days when they could get it done in a day, but the rep did not have a good answer. I figured the $50 would cover part of the dogs boarding, plus they got decent reviews so we decided to let them do the job. On Friday, May 11th, a few guys came out and they were very professional. The floors looked beautiful, but they didn?t finish laying the quarter round. When my husband asked, they said they were not responsible for it. The whole room was done except the quarter round with the doorframes to the door and closet. We called the company the next day. At first they said they were not responsible for it because it was installed after the floorboards. I told them that we had not touched the room since the estimate. They agreed to send someone out to look at it. The only time they could come out was a Tuesday morning. My husband rearranged his schedule to meet them and they never showed out. The rep we had been working with was off that day too. They workmen showed up randomly on Thursday and woke my husband. He was too groggy to deal with them and told them I needed to be present anyway. I called the next day and the guy said he was busy, but would come out the following Tuesday. I told him I wasn?t talking another day off work and I would be home at 5:30 PM. He agreed, but never showed up. I felt like this job was a joke to them. They tried to bill me for the full amount, they never showed up on time for the job and they were completely unprofessional! What is worse is I wanted to get my whole first floor dog, but there is NO WAY I would work with this company again. What a hassle! And yes ? my quarter round is STILL not done. I gave up on scheduling and waiting for their employees not to show up so now we are going to fix it ourselves.

I?had a certain budget that i had to keep in mind as a lot of people do but i called a few companies and quickly became discouraged because a lot of these companies were out of my price range. i decided to try angies list. i found a plus carpet and flooring,?decided to give it one more shot. i called and made an appointment and they were able to come out?the very next day which was great. pete dattilo was the gentlemen who came out to give me an estimate. he was very kind and made me feel at ease right away. he gave me alot of knowledge the other companys did not.?when he gave me the estimate my jaw dropped. he came well within my budget and in turn i was also able to carpet my 2 bedrooms which i NEVER thought would be possible! his team came in two days later and did all the work and it turned out amazing. the floors shined like new and the carpet was installed with perfection and my kids love?it. pete did stop by the?house to make sure things went smoothly which was great. i am so pleased with this company and i will definitly use them in the future!!!

We had a wonderful?experiences?working with Eric. He provided outstanding customer service, and we are completely?thrilled?with the end result. We plan on turning to A+ for our?carpet?and flooring needs, and we will recommend them to our friends and?neighbors.

After buying a house, we decided to replace the carpet. ?We went through Angie's List to find a reputable carpet installer, and indeed A Plus Carpet did a great job. ?Pete helped us get an estimate within our budget, showed us different samples, went to our house to measure, and on the day of the install (which was on Memorial Day), he personally came to ensure everything was being done to specs. ?Since the carpet was for nearly 2000 sq. ft., it took a fairly long time, but it was professionally done, and all trash/detritus was taken out afterwards, and all carpets were vacuumed clean. ?Everyone we dealt with was friendly, even to the point that Pete helped out our next door neighbor when he saw she was carrying too much. ?We would definitely use A Plus Carpet again for our kitchen, and any recommendations they had we are taking with a knowledge that they know what they are doing.

My overall experience with A-Plus was great!? I found them on Angie's List, called and scheduled an appt for the next day.? I received a call the day of the initial appt saying there was a scheduling conflict and if we could meet the next day.? Although a little turned off by the schedule mix up, I still met with them and boy am I glad that I did.? Vinny was punctual and was very thorough with with measurements.? I felt that he was very straight forward about what I needed and didn't need and was willing to answer any questions I had.? At our initial meeting he had samples of polyester carpet.? After our initial meeting , I had questions about? the smart strand carpet that I had recently heard about.? He invited me to the showroom and answered all of my questions. After choosing a color, the carpet was ordered and installed the next week.? The installers were also fantastic.? I had a window of 9-11 and they showed up at 9:30 were very friendly and professional.? I was very please with the quality of their work.? I would definitely use A Plus again and have already recommended to others.

I have issues with my floor being uneven. He looked at it and said before he gives me an estimate, he wanted his boss to come. He brought the owner of the company over and he was very good. We looked over everything with the fireplace being taken into consideration as well. He gave me two options of how to have the floors redone. I felt that he was very creative and on top of everything. They are very, very good. We are more than likely going to hire them in the future for the work.

I originally went into their showroom only to "look." Vinnie asked me questions about the space I was looking to work on and the issues that needed addressing. I have two dogs and two young children so that carpet that was there had taken a pretty good beating. He recommended a product and I was in love with it. I was not thrilled with the color choices at first, but the general estimate that he gave me I was more than happy with. However, as any good shopper would do, I wanted to do some comparison shopping. I went to two other vendors - they will go unnamed - and their prices were significantly higher and they did not have the higher quality of the same carpet. I was amazed. Also they did not seem to have the knowledge that Vinnie and the A Plus team had. Also I asked if the tear up could be done on a different date so that we could seal the sub-floor before anything was going to be installed and only A Plus was willing to do that without a HORRIFIC fee being charged. A Plus was quick both times they were at the house and they were EXTREMELY professional. Every time I spoke with Vinnie and any other member of the sales team, they too were professional in every way. I also spoke with them regarding replacing or repairing my hardwood flooring on the main level of my home and Vinnie was actually honest with me and told me that the project could wait and that my floors really didn't look that bad or in a bad condition. Needless to say I have two more floors that need the carpet replaced and A Plus is the ONLY company that I will even consider.

A-Plus came in when promised and did a great job all around, from their timeliness, professionalism, and the final product. When there was a problem with my HOA making a timely payment, the front office staff (Rosemary) worked with me patiently until all payments were made. Great experience, great company. Thanks

It went very good. They were great. The floors look gorgeous.

Very good. Vinny explained what he could do, did a very good estimation. HIs crew of 2 folks were very good, came on time at 8:30AM, and finished up on time by 2pm. Workmanship was excellent, punctual and timely. Would strongly recommend A Plus carpet. Only thing is that they are quite busy and we were delayed by a couple of days otherwise nothing negative. Will definitely hire them again.

A Plus did a wonderful job restoring the 120 year old heart pine wood floors in my Baltimore rowhouse.? Eric set up a timely first appointment for an estimate and when I was ready to do the work a couple of months later, A Plus was ready to do the job.? The team worked quickly and cleanly.?? I was left with beautiful floors on the entire first floor of my home and no mess.?? Every interaction I had with the A Plus team, on the phone and in person was pleasant and professional.? ?I thank the entire team for doing quality work with great customer service.

Salesman Vinny was very professional and pleasant to deal with.? He did a great job of guiding us through our selection and decision process both here at home and at the showroom.? We were given the impression this company was there to serve and make us happy with our decision.? Their Columbia showroom and work location left us with the impression they were able to serve our needs.? It was this feeling we had that convinced us to go with more than we originally planed. ?The hardwood installers took two days. ?Wesley and Biden and Carlos the second day, showed up as scheduled.? They were very pleasant and showed they were very good at what they did.? They displayed a very high work ethic, attention to detail and they were easy to deal with. ?And, they kept us informed of what was being done as they went.? The carpet installers, Oscar and Benjamin arrived the next two days as scheduled.? They also did a very good job.? Another positive aspect of this company is their follow-up of the minor punch list items.? Their follow-up person, Jonathon was such a upbeat pleasant person to work with. ?Even the owner, Eric as well as Vinny came out to be sure we were happy and satisfied.? We definitely would recommend this company to our friends and neighbors.
