+ -1 moreThe Joseph Plumbing and Drain crew came on time and worked efficiently and effectively. They were reasonably priced. They repaired many things in our aging house and caught issues that had been created or missed by other plumbers.

+ -1 moreReview of Joseph Pluming & Drain, LLC We chose Joseph Pluming & Drain, LLC from Angie’s list because of its favorable reviews. This is the first time we’ve been disappointed. We called Joseph Pluming & Drain, LLC on September 22, 2021 because we had a leak in the shower that came through the kitchen ceiling. The plumber, Punte, cut a hole in the kitchen ceiling to determine the source of the leak. He determined the shower needed to have the tile replaced and recommended an outfit to do the work including repairing the hole in the kitchen. He checked the water line coming into the house and suggested the two cut off values be replaced at a cost of $820.00. He also suggested that the laundry tub faucet be replaced at a cost of $440.00. We agreed, he did the work, and we paid him. We asked him to replace the faucet in the power room when it arrived to which he agreed. There was a charge on the 9-22-21 invoice of $240.00 to “replace hot and cold shut off valve (sic) for power room sink.” We thought this was the charge to install the faucet when it arrived. It actually was for the installation of cut off values which is something we didn’t think was necessary. When he returned on October 5, 2021 to install the faucet, he charged $350.00 to install it and $80.00 to replace the “P” trap, again something we didn’t think was necessary. In summary, the plumber did not do anything to repair the leak. That was accomplished by having the tile replaced and grouted by the outfit he recommended. He charged $350.00 to install a faucet we provided. We believe that is too expensive for a job that should take no more than ½ hour. Total paid: $1,930.00. I definitely would not recommend Joseph Pluming & Drain, LLC for any kind of plumbing repairs. James R. Cummiskey cummiskeyjames@hotmail.com
