Description of Work: I was extremely pleased with the work Adcock's did for us - we had a mouse problem, they did a complete review of the whole house, outlined what needed to be fixed to ensure it never happens again, and gave us a price to fix everything which we took advantage of! The guy who came to fix everything, did a superb job, and was extremely professional!

Description of Work: We called Adcocks because we had some baby groundhogs that had taken a liking to the underside of our porch. The gentleman who came out gave us some solid advice for a DIY project that we could do to eliminate the problem. He said they could do the job, but we'd be paying for a professional when one wasn't truly necessary. That kind of honesty is refreshing. I was happy to pay for the service call and would definitely use them in the future.

Description of Work: My neighbor noticed a squirrel entering the apex of my roof. I had heard scratching sounds for a while and thought is was a bird on the gutter. Adcock's came and inspected the roof line and noted entry holes. Temporary closures were made and a trap set on the roof. The very next day a female squirrel was caught in the trap. They took her away and let her out humanely in a far away park. After several days of monitoring the temporary closures for any additional animals, permanent closures were made. Upon daily inspections, a card was left on my front door telling me of their findings. Additionally, I had a house inspection performed for mice that were in my pantry during the winter months. Entry holes were located and fixed. I am very pleased with their work and professional demeanor.

Description of Work: Squirels had invaded our soffits, had babies, and were tearing out the soffit and making terrible noise. Adcocks came out, explained what was happening and why. They set traps and checked them daily. In a week, the Mama and 5 little ones were trapped and released many miles away. Their access was closed temporarily to be certain no one else was living there. Then, they came and repaired the soffit areas so they looked like new. I could not have been more pleased with their work, professionalism and very positive attitude.

Description of Work: Adcocks responded to a call about squirrels in my attic & walls. Over 4 days, they trapped five squirrels, then began to board up. Unfortunately, they left another squirrel inside. When I called to tell them this, they responded quickly. They put a trap in my basement, & although it took 4 days to get him in the trap, finally we got him. They then did repairs to the house. Excellent job.

Mice were caught and noises have stopped. Monitored traps myself, rather than pay them $45 per trip to do this. Have not had them correct the points of entry situation yet.

Description of Work: Birds had torn thought the cover of a bathroom exhaust vent and built a nest. Donald arrived when he said he would, removed the nest, blew out the vent, and covered the vent on the exterior with a strong mesh. Finished in less than 30 minutes and was extremely professional and courteous. Would definitely use them again should the need arise. Price listed takes into account the Angie's List coupon I used

Description of Work: I heard an animal (racoon) in my chimney, thumping around and making noise on top of the chimney damper. This was early in the AM. I called and found that they didn't open officially until 8:00. I called @ 8:00, was told that a truck was leaving then and they would be at my mouse within the house. They arrived as promised. Two friendly techs, who even removed their shoes when they came into my house. They did a thorough evaluation of the chimney from both inside and outside from the top to insure that the racoon had in fact vacated a and then they installed two stainless steel chimney caps. I was at work by 10:00. I call that service. Time is money! 5 Year guarantee on service and against animal re-entry.

Description of Work: They set traps for a skunk. The first time they set multiple traps, but did not catch anything. I don't know that it was their fault. They checked them regularly. I asked them to come back again after smelling the skunk again and this time did catch the skunk. They wanted to put a screen under my front porch at what seemed like a ridiculous price. I declined to have that done. I have not been bothered by skunks since.
