Description of Work: When we heard noises in the crawl space under our roof, we called our usual pest control man, thinking we maybe had some cute little squirrels nesting up there. He went up there and came down quickly saying, uh, this is a job for Adcock trappers. Adcocks sent a guy out promptly who found racoon tracks going up our drain spout across our roof and through a vent into our crawl space. They set traps and caught one large racoon within a day. Then we got 2 snowstorms when they couldn't come. More racoons were having a party over our heads during this time. Very scary! After the storms, they came back set more traps and caught another racoon, at which point they sealed it up. We haven't had a problem since. Except for the storms, they were very punctual and were very understanding of my frustrations caused by the storm issues. They were very knowledgeable and good to work with.I would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Trapped a squirrel that starting using my attic. Sealed off entry points and guarantee that the squirrels can't get in there fir the next 5 years or the folks at adcock will come back and solve the problem for free. Dean was a great guy, very professional. Would recommend them highly. Glad we called early before the squirrel was able to do any damage to electrical, dry wall, etc

Description of Work: I heard some noises coming from or near the vents in my bedroom. I was concerned it was a small animal. They checked for signs of any entrance possibilities, duck taped the vents on roof to see if anything would try to escape. I was told, and agree, that it is probably just vent contractions. I did have to call back to have them remove the duct tape and was told that I did not have any per their notes. I assured them I did and they returned to remove and told me that there had been no evidence of any animal trying to escape.

Description of Work: They set up traps around my yard to catch and remove squirrels. They trap them humanly and take them elsewhere to be released. This has saved major damage to my house which was going on yearly before I started using their service. The price I listed is just a guess, I have to find the bill which is buried somewhere. They are very good and I use their services every year for the last 4 years, at least.

Description of Work: Set a trap on my roof to catch a suspected raccoon. Checked the trap every day for three days. Placed tape on the vents to detect any movement in or out of the crawlspace. After determining that there had been no activity for more than forty-eight hours, installed screening over the vents to prevent future problems. Excellent staff. Excellent service. I recommend them highly.

They have a 5 year guarantee against re-entry. They showed up when they were scheduled and did not disturb my tenants.

Description of Work: This was my second time using Adcock's, and they were every bit as professional, efficient, and cost-competitive as last time. This time we managed a bat infestation behind my chimney. They quickly located the entry point, used a one-way entry to exclude the bats, then came back and cleaned up and made certain the bats could not enter again. They also inspected my home to make sure bats had not gotten in. They covered every contingency, responded quickly, and were timely. They came out 3 times - for an inspection, to install the exclusion vent, and to clean and patch - and were on time and worked quickly on each.

Description of Work: We had a squirrel get into our house from a hole in the attic. After trying unsuccessfully to cajole the little bugger out through an open window, we called Adcocks for help. They provided two services: 1) getting the squirrel out of the house; and 2) trapping two other squirrels who were taking up residence in the roof vent. | |We will also be hiring them to seal off (with heavy-duty mesh that the beasts can't chew through) the chimney and the dryer vents.

Description of Work: Inspected premises for evidence of black snakes, blocked some accesses and suggested others such as new garage door installation by outside vendor, provided glue sheets for trapping. There have been no interior sightings other than two dead snakes on glue sheets.

Description of Work: They removed the bird's nest on the top of our house under the roof. The team worked professionally. Unfortunately, the work was not very well organized, but the general impression is positive. Original estimate was $295, but after the first visit we got $50 reduce, and after the work was finished and we sent them the final check for $200, they returned us $95. Therefore the total price was $150.

Description of Work: I used Angie's list to find to rated animal trappers after both my daughter and I heard noises in our attic. John came within two days after I called and did a thorough inspection of the house and pointed out a few areas where animals could gain access to the attic. No sign of mice, but some signs of chewing near the eaves. He explained we most likely had nocturnal animals, sleeping in our nice comfy insulation. He outlined our options for sealing up and stressed that we would need a "one way" exit until spring. He put down three traps and we scheduled the return visit for his crew to do the sealing, etc. Within 3 days, we got three flying squirrels, one in each trap. The crew came back early to empty the traps and do the seal up work. Now, it's a waiting game to see how long it takes to get rid of all of them; he said to expect it to 2-3 weeks. They will come back to look for additional (more hidden) entry points if we are still getting squirrels after that. John and his crew are really good, and I am much happier knowing that we are on our way to eliminating this pest situation in our attic.

Description of Work: They come and located the entry to the attic where the animal may have entered. They set up a trap on the roof. Joseph came next day to check if an animal was trapped in the cage. Fortunately a raccoon was trapped inside the cage. Joseph removed the cage with the animal from the roof and placed another cage on the roof. He than come a couple of times to check on the cage. He found no other animal and eventually removed the cage. During the whole process Joseph was very friendly and answered all our questions. We where very happy with Adcocks Trapping Service. We will recommend their service to anyone.
