Description of Work: I suspected bats in the attic and basement - they checked and sealed entry points outside. They were honest and reasonable and I would use them again.

Description of Work: Had a problem with squirrels getting into the attic through a broken mesh over an attic ventilation fan. They set traps (trap and release type) on the ground below the window for a few weeks and also checked the attic, in order to be sure that there were no squirrels in the attic when they replaced the mesh. Problem solved!

Description of Work: Personable young man did an inspection for mice entry. After inspection, team returned and sealed possible openings. Good job. Hopefully don't need them again! But if i did, i would call them. I recommend to my friends/neighbors.

Description of Work: They trapped animals in the attic and did some repairs. They put metal screen over roof vents and sealed the spot where animals came in. Their work was very professional.

Description of Work: They came and assessed holes where mice may be coming in. We filled the spots that they recommended and have had little to no activity since. We have tried other approaches in the past with less value.

Description of Work: First trip they came out to assess the problem. After 24 yrs in my house I had seen a mouse and I wasn't happy. He made notes on problem areas inside and then possible areas of entry outside. After estimate another gentleman cane to seal/repair all areas around the entire house including some concrete filling in my stairwell. I love these guys. Now that it's cold I have not had any visitors from outside. Job well done.

Description of Work: We thought we might have squirrels but it turned out to be 2 loud mice.They set traps for us in the crawl space and basement. They located where they were entering the basement and used concrete mortar to close up the hole. This company is very thorough and knowledgeable. I hope I won't need them again, but if we do, we will call them!

Description of Work: We had a problem with bats. Since the bats had already left, Adcock's did not have to flush them out but instead repaired my shutters so that they would not set up camp there in the future.

Description of Work: We had a family of squirrels had invaded our attic. Adcock came right away, assessed the problem, explained pricing upfront (and stuck to it), then got to work right away. They explained all the steps they were taking and answered all my questions. They were able to remove all the squirrels and make repairs so that it hopefully will not occur again. Very satisfied with the work.

Description of Work: Work was done, squirrels are gone. But figuring out the payment was not good. I thought I had paid and then was contacted MONTHS later saying that there was an outstanding amount on my account. Still not sure if I or they missed something, but why wait months to communicate that?

Description of Work: Adcocks Trapping baited a trap to capture a ground chuck that was gnawing on my exterior wood trim. After the first day, the ground hog was captured and taken away to (hopefully) be released on open land somewhere far enough away that it wouldn't come back. After the capture, the straps were baited and set for two more days, in case there were other wood chucks. At the end of the three days, I was given a very high verbal estimate if I wanted the trapper to do the repair work under my porch.

Description of Work: Trapped a ground hog that ate a huge hole under my porch and repaired the entry way to keep it out.

Description of Work: unsuccessfully tried to trap pregnant raccoon before she gave birth inside eves of roof; raccoon evade trap, entered house; babies were sealed inside mother damaged roof in several areas to get back inside house; eventually babies and mother exisited and roof was repaired by Adcock--problem blames on DC law prohibiting use of certain types of traps--only explained after the fact

Description of Work: The company had been recommended to me by my son who also found them on Angie's list. The representative did a complete inspection around the perimeter of my house and identified possible places where the mice might enter but indicated that based on the amount of traffic he saw that they perhaps had found their way in and escaped detection because I had no idea they were there and hiding in places where I had things stored and used seldom. They came back after I decided to hire there and did extensive remediation to seal entry points earlier identified. They also made a few other suggestions to complement the work they did.

Description of Work: Were there to trap & remove animal pest. Was not successful because pest did not return during 3 days trapping period and has not returned as 9/28/2015.

Description of Work: Bat exclusion. Was very responsive to a concern I had, that was a false alarm.

Description of Work: Set traps to eradicate raccoon from attic. Seal gables. Very pleased with the attentiveness of this company. Each day the traps were checked and a door hanger left with notes of what was seen.
