Adcocks Trapping Service

Trapped 7 raccoons over a 5 day period, though one day a fox managed to get in and out of the two traps without getting caught and eat the bait.

They were good. They didn’t charge anything extra than the $99 agreed upon through Angie’s List.

After opening the outside vent, they discovered a birds nest in the vent which was causing very little air flow in the vent. This contributed and was the cause of having to run the clothes through 2 cycles to get dried. They cleaned out the vent and replaced the cover with an anti bird cover to prevent this from occurring in the future. Great persons who performed the job. Highly recommended. Would hired again.

I had an on going mouse/mice visitation issue and had paid for multiple visits from exterminators to no avail and I called Adocks and they told me they could patch and caulk all "entry" areas around doors, windows, pipes and small holes they could get in but couldn't guarantee the work since I lived in a row house on the hill. But the mice were so annoying I took the chance and it worked. I haven't seen a mouse in almost a year. It's worth the the charge for them to go in my crawl space and do the patch work. I feel that living in the city the only way to get rid of a mouse issue is to not let them in. I would definitely recommend their services.

The technician removed the dead birds and provided details of what he was doing along the way. I was impressed with the knowledge performance the work performed.

Great service. The extensive sealing project did solve the problem with rodent entry for a time. After some time, the problem reappeared, and they readily returned to do additional work / sealing to better protect the house, some of which was done at no charge, and some was an additional charge. .

Awesome! We were hearing scratching noises in the ceiling at night. Turned out to be a family of 4 mice living in our attic. Adcock's trapped and removed them, thoroughly investigated the rest of the house, found possible entry points and sealed them.

Adcock charges $425 just to do the inspection!! Unbelievable!!! I'm so happy I didn't use them because another pest control discovered that the squirrels were on my roof and not in my attic. I would've been furious if I'd paid $425 just for Adcock to tell me that there is not a problem.

It turned out very well. The service performed from the $99 big deal was an inspection, the remaining cost was additional work needed discovered from the inspection. One employee came out and it took him one work day. They did well, completed the task as described.

Called Addcoks to set up an appointment. I was promptly given the complete pricing and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. The tech was on time and correcily diagnosed the entry point of the critter. One trao was set on the exterior, and another inside the attic. Chirs returned the next morning to find the interior trap had caught the raccoon. He left the traps set and baited and returned over the course of the next several day to ensure the problem was solved. Great service.

Haven't found any new evidence of mice in the house.

Fine. Luckily we did not have squirrels or racoons in the attic which was our initial thought. Turned out that possibly what we were hearing was crows on the roof, or perhaps mice in the attic. We took a "wait and see: approach which was recommended, and had not other problem. Adcock billed us $95 for the inspection. That included inspecting the roof vents of a 2 1/2 story home, as well as attic and siding inspection.

The company responded on the same day. They set out live traps for a total of five days, and caught two coons (plus a hapless rat). They came back to check every day, and did the work as advertised, on time. Expectations were managed clearly on both sides.

Adcocks came quickly, identified the problem, and helped us solve it.

In a panic I paid Adcock's $95 just for an inspection. They confirmed that there were probably raccoons (I don't think they actually saw any). They quoted a high cost to set up traps and prevent any animals from entering through the openings to the basement. I then called another trapper that was recommended who did a FREE inspection and did not find any raccoons or signs of any having been there. For a much more reasonable price he placed traps that would catch any animals that might be in the house (none were caught) and also from outside. I paid him and he caught a raccoon from outside the house and took him away to be let loose in the woods in the country somewhere (far away from my house). I called Adcock to ask if they might refund the $95 inspection fee that I had paid in my panic but they refused. I have never heard any noises in my basement ceiling again, so I believe there were certainly never any raccoons; I might have been hearing mice, which I did have. I used an exterminator to control those.

Chris was great. Very professional and prompt. He explained the process, made helpful suggestions for the future. He caught 2 raccoons in 2 nights. Nothing the third. Problem removed!

PUNCTUALITY The technician did not show up on time even though he gave himself 4 hours (between 8:00 AM and Noon) to arrive. Nor did he bother to let anyone know that he would be arriving late. Property management did not want to deal with the company anymore due to their lack of timeliness. The neighbor whose unit he entered to access the attic shared the same sentiment. RESPONSIVENESS I called twice because all wildlife had not been removed from the building. I was asked for my name and number on both occasions, but no one ever called me back. The young lady who answered the phone could not answer any of my questions and was unwilling to let me speak with the technician who came out to the property to address the issue. JOB KNOWLEDGE The technician did not seem to be able to determine the presence of wildlife in the building. He set one trap on the roof. Once a squirrel was caught, the trap was removed even though additional wildlife could be heard in the building. It seems they do not have the resources to get the job done. Property management is currently researching other trapping services since the matter remains unresolved.

It went very well. Due to the kind of birds int he chimney I was directed to wait until the birds left on there own. After they left I called to have them come back out to put a cap on the chimney.

Didn't hire. Used another company. The F review below is not fair because I didn't use this company, but the Angie's List review does not allow it to be submitted without that block completed.

It went very well. I had them come for the initial 3 days and then extended it another 2 days. The trapping was successful on the first day, but I kept seeing additional signs of more raccoons. They come each morning to reset the trap/bait. I highly recommend them.

In terms of wildlife and rodent control, Adcock is the best. They're people really know what they are doing - understand animal behaviors and how to eliminate the problems humanely, and protect from future intrusions. They did have a problem with scheduling (took morning off but office had scheduled the wrong day so wasted the time off of work) and confusions on invoicing (in our favor, not theirs)- - office operations seem to need some improvement. But all and all, an excellent company - especially the professionals doing the actual work. I would not hesitate to use Adcock and recommend them to others (this is the second time we have used them - they were highly effective both times)
