VALLEY VIEW FARMS

I don't think I've ever been as disappointed with a business as this. As a pond owner, I previously had not used Valley View at the recommendation of others because of their high prices. When I recently had a pond "emergency" I reached out to Valley View's pond department, thinking that they had expertise and for what I thought would be excellent customer service. I had to visit the pond department in person, leave my name and number and then return to the location after I never received the courtesy of a phone call. I then visited the main store, spoke with a manager who advised me that the manager of the pond department was also the general manager of the entire business. He called me back the next day, gave me the name of one of their employees, who called and then came out to look at my pond (which needed a new pump and piping due to a defective de-icer) and advised he'd be in touch within two weeks with a price. While I thought that was unusual, I gave them two weeks, and never heard from them. I called again, and was told the manager would get back to me the next day. Again, never heard from anyone and I simply gave up since I tired of begging someone there to take my money to work on my pond. To this day, I have not heard from anyone. In the meantime, I contacted RNF Renovations, who came out immediately, returned the next day to fix it, did so with great expertise, and followed up with me to make sure everything was working. What a difference!!!!!! I would never use Valley View again. While I expected to pay a lot, I certainly never expected to be ignored and lied to.

They have an extensive pond section.

We didn't really know how it worked and they explained everything and cleaned it. It was smelly itchy job and they did a great job. It was two men and they were here for less than two hours. The retail store is like a nursery and I had purchased things like plants and I was very pleased. I was there to buy plants and they have a section like water garden and so I asked them if they know anyone who cleans ponds and they said they do it and so it kind of worked out. They were little late maybe because of the traffic and it wasn't like they were sitting around and having coffee. They were smoking which I don't care because it was outside of my house. One guy was more professional than the other.

THE PEOPLE IN THE WATER GARDEN AREA ARE VERY PATIENT. THEY ANSWER AS MANY QUESTIONS AS YOU HAVE AND WILL GUIDE YOU TOWARDS THE BEST PRODUCTS. ALSO, AND THIS IS IMPORTANT, THEY ARE VERY ACCOMMODATING WITH RETURNS. THE HEATER I PURCHASED FOR THE WINTER COLLAPSED AFTER 6 WEEKS IN USE AND THEY REPLACED IT WITHOUT QUESTIONS.
