This is a place with a great reputation for quality and we learned why. The staff at Valley Framing was superb from start to finish. They treated each item like it was their own cherished possession. We had lengthy discussions about the pros and cons of different frame styles and they had great design ideas. Several of the items we had to be framed were unique materials and when it came time to discuss it, a "specialist" who dealt with those challenges was brought in to help ensure that we ended up not only with a product that looked good- but protected our art. Our lacquer painting had been bought in Vietnam, shipped to the US, and stored in our closet for a year- during which time the wood warped. The staff at valley framing functioned like conservators- somehow they were able to coax the warp out and framed it beautifully without stressing or damaging the wood or lacquer finish- we were amazed! All work is done on site.
Description of Work: Mounting, matting, and framing 2 original oil paintings, 4 watercolor paintings, an antique painting on delicate cloth. Size averaged 2-3 feet by 2-3 feet each. Also framed a 3x3 foot lacquer painting on wood.
