They were a little expensive. They did a good job and I would recommend them.

The owner, Mike, came out right away to give an estimate. Very friendly and knowledgable. The work did not happen for a month. My only complaint was the long wait time and lack of communication as to when they were going to show up on the actual day. The three man crew climbed the tree, hauled the debris and cleared the job within an hour. It was almost 100 degrees this day and very humid. They worked super fast and super hard. Left the yard and other areas very clean. Highly recommend.

I sent the email requesting them to come out for an estimate and received an almost immediate response. They came out, looked over the trees and gave me a quote which was significantly less than others I had received. I also took them to my neighbor who was thinking about having a large tree and stump removed and he accepted the quote on the spot. The next week the crew showed up and removed all the trees and stumps and cleaned up promptly. It could not have gone better.. I highly recommend them.

On May 12, 2013 I left for a Cruise at about 1:30 PM. Sometime during the night the trees were blown down across my lawn and damaged my home. I was notified from a friend on Tuesday while I was on the cruise. I had Him call Ryan Tree Service because I had just used them to thin out another tree. They responded right away and had the job completed in 2 days. When I got home it was all cleaned up. GREAT JOB!

Mike and his crew were consummate professionals. Mike arrived precisely on time for the estimate. The job was a rush for us because a neighbour was about to install a new shed under the tree to be removed. Mike scheduled the removal for the next morning. His three-man crew arrived on time and cut down the tree in a safe and careful manner and cleaned up perfectly in one hour. They were professional and polite, respectful of our property and the neighbour's. I found the price to be very fair and would not hesitate to use Mike for future tree work here.

They did it very well. They showed up on time. They cleaned up well. I can't say anything bad about them. But, I had to wait a while.

Mr. Ryan arrived for estimate and discussed all work and various options. Date was selected for the job, and workmen arrived on time, at 8:30. All work was completed and debris cleaned up by 12:30. Highly satisfied!

I got a call for an estimate immediately. Very timely and professional meeting. I believe the SAndy storm must have delayed the work being performed, but I told him I wasn't in a big hurry but to notify me the day before he was coming. After a month or so I had never heard back and was concerned it was getting to late to do the trimming. They returned my email and got back to me with a date for the services to be performed. They showed on time, with a very polite and professional group of guys performing the work. They didn't leave a drop of mess behind. Very pleased and would use them again.

It all went according to my initial discussion with Mike. He came and went when I was at work and did everything he said he would.

We had the tree removed and the stump ground. We also had 7-10 evergreen sprayed for bag worms. You could not tell that there was a tree where it was removed.

I really appreciate his honesty and he is very thorough in his work. His pricing is also very reasonable. He will work with his clients on pricing. His wife is the secretary and she is very pleasant and nice. I am currently trying to get an estimate on a tree I am trying to purchase for my friend, and they have been trying to get the work situated and it hasn't happened yet. I wish they were a little bit better on their follow up, but aside that I think they are a really nice company. I plan on using them again!

We live in the woods and several large oaks were touching the roof of our house. Mike came out and gave us an estimate on trimming the trees away from the house. It was so reasonable I signed up that day. The work was done within a week and I wasn't even there! This is such a good company. I'd recommend them to everyone.

They are very good and reasonably priced. They do what you want done. You deal with Mike Ryan or his wife, Stephanie, the owners.

It has gone better than expected each time we have used them. Mike Ryan is the owner and meets with you personally to evaluate your job and if asked will make recommendations. He is courteous, timely and follows up to make sure you are happy with the job. In one case, I wasn't sure if the stumps had been ground down enough. Mike came out said he thought they could have been better and had his crew come that day to do it to his satisfaction and under his supervision. Mike was the head of estimating and supervising for a large tree service company that did just enough. Mike got tired of the mediocrity and started a smaller company that focused on going the extra mile and quickly making the customer happy if needed. It is always nice when dealing with small business owners that work hard to do it right and then some because they want happy customers that become repeat customers. I am not related to Mike. He was recommended by a friend who had a simple job but was so impressed with the personal touch of dealing with Mike and the quality of the work.
