LONGO'S APPLIANCE SVC

We were disappointed that Longo's wasn't more helpful about our dilemma: They took our old fridge away that worked just fine and installed a fridge that didn't work. When we called then about it, they told us that our old fridge was already trashed. We expected them to give us a better deal as they had GUARANTEED that the fridge was perfectly fine (i.e., only defects were cosmetic). We thought having to spend an additional $500 was a lot. But, we were in a position where we definitely needed another fridge ASAP, and didn't want to have to pay additional installation costs elsewhere.

This appliance company is very responsive and on time with their deliveries. I told them I wanted a washer and a dishwasher and couldn't spend more than $1,000.00. They had just what a needed. The salesman was respectful and knew his products and his inventory. It was my last day of vacation and he tried to arrange delivery and installation that afternoon. Since I hadn't arrived at the store until after 2 pm it wasn't possible, but I was impressed at the attempt.

Repairman showed up as scheduled. Appeared knowledgeable and helpful.

On time, polite, and ridiculously expensive. $60 just to come out, and another $92 for a small part. The whole job took less than 20 minutes.

LONGO'S IS EXCELLENT AND WE ALWAYS USE THEM. EVEN THOUGH I COULDN'T GET A NEW DRYER, THE SERVICE MAN WAS GREAT AND ACTUALLY HAD TO COME BY TWICE BECAUSE WE REALIZED A NEW DRUM HEATER HAD TO BE INSTALLED. MY 16 YEAR OLD DRYER IS LIKE NEW.

I AM HAPPY THAT THEY COULD REPAIR MY APPLIANCE IN SUCH SHORT ORDER. I HAVE PURCHASED APPLIANCES FROM THEM, BECAUSE THEY CAN ALSO SERVICE THEM WHEN A REPAIR IS NEEDED. THE CONVENIENCE IS WORTH GIVING A LITTLE IN OTHER AREAS, SUCH AS THE PRICE FOR REPAIRS.
