I informed the company that the driveway had to look exactly the same, per HOA rules. The company stamped the driveway with their logo. I saw the logo a couple hours after they left. I called them and asked them to repair it and they refused. I was also disappointed that the workers shoved all the trash they generated in the trenches they dug next to the driveway and then buried it.

Great start to finish. T.J. responded right to my inquiry about starting up on a year old quote. I had additional considerations for the work and he checked out and priced it in just a day or so and forwarded a contract quickly. We set up the work and his guys were here on the button of the time expected. The crew and foreman Mike were cracker-jack. Mike explained the process and answered any questions we had. The owner stopped b twice during the work. Then @ 5:30 pm I saw that a loose dog had made his way across the new concrete and left paw prints in it. I reached Andy and someone was out 1st thing next day and did a really super repair. every bit of the process with these guys was as good an experience as I could have imagined. Andy and T.J. Both came back to review the job I'd give 'em 6 stars

It went as well as expected. Some minor problems, but we worked through them. It is more important to me how a company responds to challenges, than my experience with them when there are no obstacles to deal with. Everyone looks good when the sailing is smooth.

The estimator, Dennis accommodated my scheduling requests, and changes in the contract, he was there as well, when the resurfacing started. My driveway needed a specific piece of machinery; so they used their subcontractor, which was excellent too. F&M came back 3 days later, backfilled, mulch, and seeded the bare spots, then a rep came by to check on the finished project. I love the look of my driveway now and would recommend F&M to friends and family!

The communication throughout the process was excellent; they showed up exactly when they said they would and did an outstanding job removing and replacing our driveway and cleaning up after the work was completed. Highly recommend!

As far as price, the quotes were competitive with each other and I have no way of knowing the possible spread in bids. My decision was based on contract terms not being open-ended. Totally satisfed with the firm's work, clean up afterward, and would highly recommend F&M.

Quoted a price of forty five thousand dollars ( $45,000) as the going rate for a driveway 75feetx10 feet.

Their estimate was reasonable, but the job I had was too small. I don't recall when they gave me the estimate, I think it was sometime in September, last year. I do not recall the amount of the estimate, but I do recall, because I had 3 companies come and their estimate landed in the middle in what they said they would do. And the information they gave was the best.

So far so good. They have not installed my driveway yet, but up to this point in the process, F&M is A+++++ all the way. I will comment further when the job is finished. The company left a little baggie in my driveway with a few stones and a leaflet in it. I found out that they have adults with disabilities fill and package these bags. This is a big plus for me as I know several adults with special needs and I couldn't be more pleased that F&M contributes to the special needs community. Will provide a follow up at a later date.

The project involved removing a front porch post and placing a temporary support, removing the existing concrete front porch and walkway, installing new paver front walkway and front porch, and replacing front porch post with a new post. The quality of the work was excellent. All workmen were responsive, punctual, and professional. I would definitely use F&M Contractors again and recommend F&M Contractors to others.

It went great from start to finish. TJ gave estimate and explained in detail entire process. The asphalt driveway looks beautiful and a few days later they installed new sidewalks. The quality is great and they were very friendly. It went quickly and they cleaned up like you never knew they were there. Its nice to see a company care for its customers.

This company gets good reviews, but they could do a better job with their advertising. I don't appreciate them littering my yard and neighborhood with their promotional materials (plastic bag with paper). Feel free to hang info on my door, but don't throw things out on my lawn. I assume they just drive down the street and toss their promotional materials out on every lawn? Please consider another way to advertise that doesn't include littering my neighborhood.

I had a great experience with this company.

I contacted the company to schedule a to get measured for a new asphalt driveway. I received a call at the time the estimator was suppose to arrive saying he would be about a half an hour late. During the phone call, the impression I got was that the estimator really didn't want to drive to my part of Baltimore County as it was out of his way and he was already off work for the day... but since the company scheduled it, he'd come. He asked me over the phone for the approximate square footage, and I provided my estimate. He provided an estimate that seemed very high, but I wanted him to see the project to provide a formal estimate as all of the sub layer stone was already in place and compacted... some minor grading needed to be done at the garage area (10'x6') which I stated I could take of prior to the work. After taking the measurements, he provided an estimate that was more than 2x the amount of what other companies have been providing. I got the feeling that he wasn't interested in doing work in Middle River - he made some comment to the effect of folks in "this part of town" usually can't pay for their services and he would require a full 33% upfront. I smiled and agreed to his terms, just asking for him to email me a proposal / contract. I never received a follow-up call nor the email with the proposal. FAIL!

They did a very impressive job. The owners came out and checked the work. There weren't any problems. They did what they said they would do and it was timely. They are a company that cares about their work.

I contacted F&M to get an estimate for a driveway and walkways. Communication was good and scheduling was easy. Dennis showed up when he said he would and took his time to go over things with me in detail. I requested a detailed estimate to break the jobs down, and he emailed one quickly, along with a list of local work they had done so I could go by those properties to see for myself. The prices quoted were reasonable. Unfortunately I needed other work done more urgently so was unable to proceed with the driveway. When I am able to do so, I would gladly contact F&M again.

I was out of town during the work, but returned to find a beautiful job done. Two neighbors, knowing I'd been away, came over to compliment the F&M workers to me and ask how I was fortunate to find such a good firm. I did not comparison-shop, so I do not know how this price might have compared to others (that's why the "N/A" for "price"), but I am very pleased with the company's work. In addition to the contracted job, they replaced the first section of the concrete sidewalk leading to the house (abutting the new sidewalk), and one section of the sidewalk leading from the driveway to the back yard. I did not solicit other bids so I'll let other reviewers comment on price. I will say that my experience with F&M was exactly what every homeowner hopes for from a contractor: Excellent work, professionally and courteously done, on time and priced as estimated. I hope never to need more concrete work, but if I do I'll call F&M.

To my surprise, they told me my driveway was fine, and didn't need a seal. Advised they would be happy to take my money if I insisted, but suggested that I call back in a year. I would have believed whatever they told me; thankfully it was the truth! Also, they shared a local address where I could review their work. The seal job was a year old, and it looked fantastic. Honest, professional, and punctual.

This contractor is the best that I have ever had do work for me. All the employees were polite, efficient, and punctual to the dot. When they say that they begin work at 7:30, they mean 7:30. What a pleasure to not hear that they will start first thing in the morning - and then show up,at 10:00! The cement workers were amazing to watch. It was precision work with eight men interacting to produce a beautiful final product. Questions were politely answered and when they were done, they did a careful cleanup job. The best!

We had a driveway that had settled and cracked over 29 years. We talked to one of the VPs/salesmen of the company and he assured us that no additional groundprep would be needed and that they poured a thicker driveway with fiber mixed in, so it should be fine. He also disscussed his decades of experience, which led us too trust him. The driveway seemed to go in well, except for the apron, which sat for approx 30 minutes before I questioned it and then they smoothed and finished it. We had rain immediately after the finishing, which left small marks in the finish.They give a one year warrenty on their product, but do say that cracks may occur and if smaller than 1/8 of an inch, it is acceptable. Our driveway is shared with our neighbor, who also paid over $4000, and between the two sides, have approximately 25 feet of hairline cracks after the first winter. We thought this excessive and after several reviews by the same VP, we were told that it was a hard winter and out of his control. My thought is that the problems were discussed before the start, nothing addditional was done to prevent it from recurring, and they should have constructed it for worse case conditions. They did give us an additional 2 years warranty, but if cracks remain less than 1/8 inch, they will do nothing. I cannot believe that after 10 years, it wil not be as bad as before.
