I've been shopping for a new pool heater to replace a 10 year old outdoor natural gas unit. In calling around to different places that GOOGLE searching indicated sold units, I ultimately reached Buddy's and spoke with Terry. On the first call, he provided a pretty decent education on the different units they had available and a rough estimate of costs. He was very responsive from there in getting out a formal written estimate and in some back-and-forth email communications. I had to delay the process for about two weeks to have a gas line plumbing issue addressed, but once that was done, I called and said I wanted to proceed. Two days later the new unit is installed and running. Incredible responsiveness, great service, and an overall great experience. I would be inclined to have them out for any system repair or replacement and would definitely recommend them to other pool owners.

Buddy Jr. came to our house last fall to give estimate for acid washing our pebble tech like finish due to calcium build up. He advised us to do it at end or beginning of season. He also requested to have the rep from the finish company to consult prior to work. This summer I went in to purchase my chemicals (as I do every year for 10 years now). I requested a call to set up service but after 2 weeks no call. I called and was told ticket was never put in so left a message that I had arranged for the finish rep to come personally to meet and Buddy to assure him the finish could be acid washed. Still no call back. When I again followed up I was told, "Buddy said he can't do it this summer." When I asked when he thought he would be able i was told, "Well, Buddy said he really just doesn't want to mess with your pool." I was amazed at the rudeness of the response since I was a long time customer and had never been treated like this before. I explained that I he had been out to see the pool and stated he was very experienced with this process and even quoted us a price (really thinking she must have misunderstood). I was told "he just doesn't want to do it." I have not searched for anyone else since I thought he was going to do the service but did find another EXCELLENT company on Angies List. I am not upset that he was not comfortable doing this service, I understand it is complex. I am upset and angry that he misrepresented his company as capable and able when in fact they are NOT. I am equally upset at the way I spoken to as if I was not worth a phone call or explanation even though I have been a loyal customer for many years. Buddys has lost a loyal customer for life. Note, they have helped us problem shoot pump problems multiple times over the years and have always been friendly but not great communicators. If you get to speak to Loretta, I'm confident you will be happy with the customer service, she has always been super helpful and knowledgable. (I believe she is Buddys mother). Really sad to have to go elsewhere but this incident was just over the top disrespectful and afraid it's the direction the company is heading.

My husband and I worked with Buddy Sr. and he did an incredible job with answering all of our questions, scheduling the work and seeing the job through. Buddy personally showed up at the job several times throughout the entire project. The quality of workmanship that went into renovating our pool was amazing. We met with several companies before Buddy?s and we never felt 100% comfortable with any of them until we met Buddy Sr. At first we were nervous and untrusting which was largely due to the fact that we had an extremely bad experience with another pool contractor. Workmanship and trust were the two most important things to us. Buddy was the only one that made us feel comfortable because he was upfront the entire time and stood behind everything he said. If you meet with Buddy Sr. or Buddy Jr. you will instantly see the pride that they take in Buddy?s Pools and how much their customers mean to them. As I mentioned, we met with several local pool companies but Buddy?s stood out above all. During our first meeting, I told Buddy about our bad encounter with the other pool company. Buddy listened and understood our concerns. He answered every single question and spent a lot of time discussing the job and what we could expect. Buddy ended our skepticism that the other pool contractor created and as soon as the job started we rediscovered our lost excitement. Every day the workers were at our house by 6-7 AM. Buddy kept us informed about each step of the process and we knew what was going on the entire time. Furthermore, all aspects of the job were performed on schedule. Buddy?s Pools delivered on all of our wants/needs and exceeded our expectations. Buddy even took the time to ensure that every small detail of the job was handled correctly and to our satisfaction. After the job was completed, Buddy came out a final time and personally coached us on how to properly maintain our pool and ensured that we had all of the proper chemicals and dosages. The pool is GORGEOUS! We are so pleased with how everything turned out. There were no shortcuts and no questionable workmanship. This job was top notch. Buddy?s Pool truly went above and beyond and turned our extremely stressful mess into a good situation. If you are considering building or renovating a pool then I highly suggest reaching out to Buddy?s pool. You should feel 100% comfortable and confident in the company you choose and Buddy?s is one of the few that can deliver a great experience and superior work. ?Amber & Frank Pirog

They were fine. They did the job properly. The price was competitive. They were punctual, responsive, and professional. I would use this provider again.

I have used them for 17 years and recommend them to others. I think their prices are competitive and will use them again in the future.

WORKMANSHIP WAS GOOD HOWEVER DEPENDABILITY WAS POOR. IT TOOK MANY CALLS TO GET WORKMEN TO COMPLETE THE JOB. WHEN THEY WERE WORKING THE TIME SPENT DOING THE WORK WAS WORTHWHILE.

WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK THAT THIS COMPANY DID ON OUR POOL. THEY ADVISED US THAT OUR EXISTING FILTER WAS TOO SMALL FOR OUR POOL, AND THEY WERE RIGHT. NOW OUR POOL STAYS VERY CLEAN WITH THE NEW FILTER.
