Description of Work: I contacted for an estimate, they said they would come look at our gutters since I wasn't home when they were in the area and call me with an evaluation and estimate. They never called me back.

+ -1 moreI emailed this provider on October 28, 2013, to request an estimate for gutter repair work. After no reply, I made a follow-up call to inquire about the status of my request. On November 4, 2013, I received an email indicating from the Provider, apologizing for the delayed response and indicated that he'd had an accident and that a site visit for be delayed for 'a week or so '. As of November 18th, there was no further communication from Provider. So I elected to find another contractor.
Description of Work: Provider did not ever come to assess work as requested.

+ -1 moreMr. Slater was very professional in getting back to us when we inquired about an estimate for our gutters and was punctual when he arrived. In the end we decided to go for another company but were very impressed with Mr. Slater and his products- it made for a tough decision in the end.
Description of Work: Mr. Slater came out and provided us with an estimate to replace our gutters. He did an excellent job explaining what was wrong with our current set up and how gutters have improved since our's were installed and also what set him apart from competitors. He showed us samples of his products and also assisted us with picking design styles and colors.

+ -1 moreI am very impressed with this company. I tried to get quotes from other companies on Angie's List, but only two companies responded. Of those two, Slater's provided a quote almost instantly and was able to schedule my work quickly. Unlike the other company who only offered one solution, Slater's gave me a selection of 5 types of gutter guards from which to choose. The prices were comparable to the other quote. We scheduled the work for Columbus Day, since I would be at home that day. I got a message that the person slated for the job was not able to make the appointment and could we reschedule. Unfortunately, I didn't get this until the weekend, so I was not able to respond until the day of the appointment. Since we were not able to connect, Slater's sent another team to do the job on the day we scheduled. Impressive - most other companies would no be so courteous of my time. The job was done quickly and well. The servicemen cleaned up the discard thoroughly (which I know was ample, considering the former home occupant had not cleaned the gutters in the four years he had the house). Will definitely recommend this company to my friends and family!
