Description of Work: They repaired my damaged plaster walls around my bath tub when every other contractor I talked to said the walls had to be stripped to the lathe and drywalled. They also smoothed out the rough walls and ceiling and primed the whole room. They did a great job. The only problem was with the primer used to paint the walls. I think it was a latex paint and some of it bubbled and peeled around the tub. I had to get a different primer and repaint, but frankly, getting the walls repaired was worth it all.

Description of Work: I'm 68 years old, and needed professional help caulking and painting 4 small rooms and a tall ceiling. The two young men (25-30) were on time, and listened as my sons and I explained what needed to be done, I personally told the lead person that I needed the two and a half bathrooms professionally caulked and that I was going to be putting the house up for sale. The helper painted a couple of walls using the trim (semi-gloss) paint. They had to be reminded to paint the ceilings. Upon inspection after they had left, the painting they did was OK, but the calking was just terrible. I called the owner of the company the following morning and explained the caulking problem, and Perry called me back a few hours later asking if the lead person could come back the following morning and finish the caulking. The lead person was on time the following day, and I took him up and showed him what needed to be finished. I personally pointed out in the master bathroom what needed to be caulked and this has still not been caulked. Did I get my $450.00 dollars worth, NO. Am I happy NO. Will I recommend them NO. Will I use them again NO. Can I recommend them. NO.

+ 0 moreAnton and his assistant did an excellent job... the weather was not cooperative (humid and warm) so the job took longer than originally quoted but they did not charge more for the third day. Paint lines were crisp, minimal paint splatters, and dust cleaned up as much as possible before they left. We hope to use Perry Tally in the future for a tiling job in our kitchen as well as additional painting.
Description of Work: Anton and his assistant painted a foyer, two hallways, living room, dining room, and family room with vaulted ceilings including all ceilings. They also re-mudded our family room ceiling.

Unlike some other providers I called, who didn't return my calls and seemed uninterested in providing a quality service, Perry was very responsible and consistently returned my calls before the appointment. He was knowledgeable and provided answers to all my questions. When I had problems selecting the paint at Sherwin-Williams, he spoke with the sales associate on my behalf to make sure I got the right product. He is incredibly nice and pleasant--a joy to work with! He and his team arrived on time and went right to work. They went into the room and got to work immediately and were so quiet, unlike some painters who show up and start blaring the radio. When they came out, my room was the PERFECT shade of grey I'd been searching for! There was absolutely no mess, and they completely cleaned up after themselves. Perry was just great and I would recommend him to anyone!! VERY professional and kind.
