+ -1 moreThe provider came over to our house, built one frame for the deck, leveled it on stakes, had not dug any holes for the post and has not been back to finish our deck. We have a wedding in our back yard August 1, 2015, go figure. Now I have to call someone else to finish this deck so that I can get ready for this wedding.
Description of Work: The provider came to my house to speak with us about building a ground level deck. He seemed to know what he was talking about and so my husband negotiated the price and signed the contract. The provider said it would take 3 days at the most providing it did not rain. I notice after he left that he did not put in a begin date nor a complete date and the the first page of the contract he put July 11 instead of June the 11 as he had put on the second page and the date that my husband put after he signed the contact. I asked him to change the date on the first page recently and he said why, that all he need was two days of no rain. We gave him a deposit on June 11 and as of today June 14 he has not completed our deck and he keeps giving us excuses.

+ -1 moreHe came out and did an estimate, and wrote up a contract. I gave him a 1000.00 dollars on september 13, 2013. He was to come back the next day. He stated that he was in an accident the next day and he was to come back in a few days. Then he called and stated that he had a family emergency and was not able to make it. That now has been almost two weeks and he has not bothered to call me back. I called the realtor that recommended him and she said she would contact me and she is also not calling me back.
Description of Work: He was to fix trap door, he was to fix yard, new storm door and work done in basement.
