We called for a free estimate to replace our sewer line. Ended up having to pay $650.00.

I though it was a large service charge, that was a lot, but anyway it went fine they fixed everything and check any other problem to see if I have any problem because my water bill is really really high.

It went really well! They scheduled my appointment really quickly and scheduled it at my convenience. The technician who came was very professional and efficient. He showed me where the leak was coming from and showed me how to read the meter and what to look for to check for running water. I would highly recommend them.

I am very satisfied with the project. Mr. McCall is a Master Plumber licensed to work on sewer lines as well as indoor plumbing. It was a large project requiring a back hoe to dig about a 4-ft. trench in the front yard from house to street and protected sapling tree and grass by placing the dirt on plywood sheets. They replaced the cast iron line and put in the PVC pipe with shut-offs.

I would not recommend this company as long as Kevin works here because he is very rude and disrespectful. Prior to interacting with him, I was on the verge of recommending this company to my work colleagues because of the prompt service and politeness of the technicians. I wanted an estimate for installing my shower head in the ceiling and for potentially having plumbing work done to install handheld shower heads as well. I set up an appointment for this afternoon (Monday 6/25), a technician named Phil came out shortly thereafter, was very polite, and made it seem like he could perform the work (and that it was just a matter of scheduling the appointment). He informed me that he would provide photos and information back to the office and then Kevin would provide me with an estimate. It sounded simple enough and I was looking forward to the call. Kevin called me and was very condescending and demeaning throughout the course of the conversation. All he did was talk about the difficulties and impossibilities associated with performing the work. When I finally had a chance to speak after having to hear his negative tirade, I asked if he could provide me with a price and he did not. He claimed it was extremely expensive and it seemed like he made prejudgments about me. How does he know if something is expensive for me?! Who is he to judge whether I can afford to pay for their services?! I informed him that he was extremely rude and disrespectful and he tried to defend his behavior. So yes I did hang up. He acted like I was a contractor and like this is my area of expertise AND IT IS NOT. THAT IS WHY I GOT IN CONTACT WITH THESE SUPPOSED EXPERTS! I was extremely confused and disappointed because when I spoke with Phil, he seemed like it was very feasible to perform the work. So I was very confused with the contradictory information. In summary, Kevin needs to learn better customer service skills. This is such a contrast to the experience I had in early June when they performed work at my property for a kitchen sink drain. The technicians were polite and the lady I spoke with was polite but Kevin has COMPLETELY turned me off to this company.

They came when they said when they would be here. Took care of the problem, price was reasonable and they are always professional. I been using them for almost 30 yrs.

The tech was on time and professional. He was able to explain the county codes ref the expand tank.

I was very pleased. They were very easy to deal with. The owner called me back within a few hours and they were out the next day to do the work. They performed the work very quickly and cleaned up after themselves before they left.

The initial repair in September went fine. The plumber who came out talked me into a "frost-free" faucet for the front. It is a special faucet where it turns off the water supply several inches inside the garage. It cost $280 instead of the $24 I paid for the ordinary faucet that was installed at the back. I was told that this way the pipe would not freeze and that I didn't need to worry about shutting off the water supply at the valve. After a very mild winter, I tried to use my faucet yesterday and it was gushing water out of the part of the faucet inside the brick wall. The plumber came out today and removed the pipe and it clearly showed freeze damage a good six inches into my garage (which gets cool but not cold in the winter). I spoke to the manage and he said I should have still closed the shutoff valve for the exterior faucet that is near the main water supply. If I still needed to close the shut-off valve, why did I pay an extra $250 for a frost free faucet? In any event, that was not what I was told in September. The manager refused to stand behind his work and wanted to charge me for a new faucet (and labor). When I courteously explained the situation and he was belligerent and dismissive. When I asked why I was talked into a "frost-free" faucet that was $250 more than an ordinary faucet, he just snorted in derision and told me he was hanging up (which he did). On a positive note, the plumbers who came out to the house were very professional and helpful (Thanks Jeremy and Jake!).

They completed the work ahead of schedule, took care of another issue they spotted in the laudry room and did a fantastic job with it all. Really went above and beyond. The place was spotless when they were done. Highly recommend them.

This is the second time we have used B McCall and we will absolutely continue to do so. I called late Friday afternoon and they came Monday morning for two non-emergency issues. Phillip was professional and courteous and did a great job. The faucet installation was smooth and he replaced two parts in the toilet, then took care to make sure it was working properly. He cleaned up well before leaving. My wife is a real estate agent and has added them as a service provider to her list of resources for clients because of our consistently good experiences.

I have been working with them for over 20 years. They are conscientious, timely, and they do good work.

Went very well, had all accessible joints replaced along with obvious one that leaked while wall was apart.

They were very responsive. I managed to secure an appointment for the next day. They arrived within the time frame they provided, supplied a faucet and got the job done within the hour. Unfortunately, the faucet they used did not work properly (the faucet spray hose would not retract back). They returned the next day and replaced it with a more expensive faucet. I paid an additional $200 for the faucet (which made the total work cost $525). After they left, I researched the price of the new faucet and found it to be much cheaper than the price charged. I don't expect to pay the same low price as the store, but I did not expect such a significant mark up. So I called them back, and they admitted that the replacement faucet was in fact cheaper than the amount I was charged. They sent me a refund check for the difference. Overall, I was very impressed with their responsiveness, and willingness to address any issues and concerns immediately. I still think the price for that faucet was too high, but I think the service received by McCall is worth the little premium they may charge you.

They responded promptly to my call. They were here the next day. They did the job without pushing.

Excellent. I called several other plumbing companies before calling B. McCall. None were able to satisfactorily fix the problem. I finally turned to Angie's list. Problem solved!!

The work went fine. I was very pleased with the man that did the job, but I was unhappy with the price. It was more costly than I was expecting. They were offering a coupon as well. I was quoted a price of $130/hr. The final bill was $615, minus the 5% from the coupon they were offering. The man did include the time to write the invoice as time worked too.

I called Thursday afternoon for a plumber to come to my home and try to locate a leak in my bathroom. The appointment was for the next day which was awesome. They arrived in time required spent about 30 minutes trying to find the leak, but could not find the leak. They left and I tried to find and after about 15 minutes after they left the leak showed up. I was upset that they could not come back and very frustrated because I am in the process of remediation of water damage from the leak and needed the leak fixed. But I was glad not to be charged for the plumbers coming to home when no work was performed.

Two gentlemen from the company arrived. Respectful and friendly. They communicated and worked well together. They were efficient, quickly identifying the tools necessary to remove the faucet and shower handle cover aesthetics. They were extremely careful to avoid damage to bath/shower tiles. They used a viewer/camera w/ a snake light. When they still had not located the source of the leak, they resolved to create an access panel which enabled them to see the bath piping and spout from behind. They secured and caulked the faucet and the shower handle cover and vacuumed all dust from the hole cut to create the access panel.

I had been told that I would be the first appointment when I made the appointment scheduled to arrive 8 AM to 10 AM. I called the provider on Monday; today is Wednesday. I called the provider at 9 AM and was told that I was scheduled from 10 AM to 2 PM. The plumber arrived at 9:40 AM. Kevin was nice. I asked why I need to call so often to have the bathtub snaked out. He explained that the house is old and debris collects more easily in a house with old pipes. He stayed for 15 minutes. He said he found hair. He said that a drain cleaner will not work so I need to have the plumber come to the house to snake the drain. The provider gave me the Angie's List discount.

On Sunday I noticed that our water heater was leaking. Called several plumbing places and B McCall was the only one that got back to us on the Sunday. He advised that we should wait until Monday morning and that he would be able to get to us early. First thing Monday morning he called and said he would have someone over right away with a new water heater. Within 45 minutes the installers were there with the new water heater and an hour later we were making hot water again. The installers worked quickly and neatly and things went extremely smoothly. Very satisfied with their response and workmanship.

Very well. Spoke to Kevin. Recommended we call his office back to schedule replacement of hot water heater that is 30 years old. It is working right now, but the insulation around it is bulging. He further recommended replacement should be done at 15 years to prevent a catastrophic failure.

The services went very well. I had obtained an inspection from another plumbing company (Michael and Son) that indicated the water heater needed to be replaced and I was provided an estimate of $2900 to replace the water heater and was scheduled for the work. My water heater begin to leak what appear to be brown in color so I called the company (Michael & Son) to come earlier, but they were not able to reschedule. I then begin my search on Angie's List to search for a plumber, which was B McCall. In my discussion with Brian McCall, I indicated to him that my water heater was leaking and it needed to be replaced immediately. I provided him my requirements for the water heater and he provided me an estimate and scheduled an appointment for immediate service. Two plumbers arrived at my home and conducted an inspection of the water heater, which they indicated that my water heater was not leaking and did not need to be replaced. The plumber indicated that a valve had gone bad and needed to be replaced. The plumber replaced the valve and other required parts within the hour and cleaned the service area. B McCall saved me more than $2300 and I am grateful for that and will definitely call them for my plumbing needs in the future.
