WOOD WORK ARTS REPAIRS

I have a vintage coffee table that I had severely neglected over the years, it had been chewed on by a pet rabbit, left in storage for over a decade, terribly stained-pretty much ruined. I reached out to Wood Works Arts, and he came over, quoted me a great price, and took the table with him. I got a call that it was finished much faster than expected, and they brought it back to me. And it is BEAUTIFUL, I was stunned and excited by how perfect they made it. I’ve had it back for an hour and have already recommended Wood Work Arts to friends, I would definitely come back if I needed more work done, and I certainly recommend them to you.

Mr. Larenas, his son and the rest of his team were very professional, responsive and completed the repairs in a timely manner. My wife who had thoughts of discarding the chairs is now happy because the chairs are now stable, sturdy and look brand new. I am very pleased with the results of their service. Fantastic! Mr. Efrain Larenas and his team (including his son) miraculously restored all the dining chairs in perfect conditions. I had thought I might have to retire all of the chairs after I had owned them for over 20 years. Since Mr. Larenas did an awesome restoring the chairs, I asked him to restore the top of my chest & drawers that I accidentally damaged by splitting super glue on the top. He and his team came to move the chest to his shop and bring it back in a couple of weeks looking as if it was brandnew.

From the very first meeting, I knew I had found the right person for the job. Efrain assessed the damage and recommended cleaning both pieces and using a clear varnish on them. Just got both pieces back yesterday and they are absolutely beautiful. Years have been removed, the natural beauty of the wood is evident now!

I spoke with Efrain on 11/03 about my table. We agreed to an appointment on 11/14 for him to provide an estimate. He didn't come out as scheduled nor did he call to let me know he wasn't coming. I phoned his office and left a message. When I tried again, someone answered and gave me his cell number. I tried that and just got voice mail. The reviews were good, which is why I contacted Efrain, but I'm not interested in doing business with someone that unprofessional.

The results were beyond my expectations! I would highly recommend Wood Work Arts. My husband & I were amazed how tMr. Larenas was able to repair the wood veneer on the buffet. (much attention to detail was required). Additionally, he refinished the top and the doors. Superb service!

The quality of the work was superb and I thought the price was very reasonable given the condition of the pieces. The furniture was returned to me in only two weeks. I am terribly pleased with this work and will definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

It went great -- They came, they took the furniture with them, and they were back in a little over a week. The repairs were done even better than I expected. There's so much grade inflation on Angie's List -- I've given A's to folks that probably should be B's or C's. Efrain and his son are really A-level craftsmen. They know what they're doing and are a pleasure to deal with.

He is an amazing man. He was really good. I will be using him again in the future. He was early and prompt for the appointment. He was actually 15 minutes early for it. The price was very reasonable, too. Efrain Larenas did a great job.

I called Mr. Larenas and discussed with him what I needed done. He was hesitant to come to where I lived in Owings Mills, yet told me he would service me although he prefers doing jobs in Washington. He added that and quot;Baltimoreand quot; was too far for him to drive to give me an estimate and refused my request to send him pictures of the damages on my door. He told me he would not be able to accurately see what needed to be done by looking at pictures. So because I was having a hard time finding anyone to do the repairs, I agreed to allow Mr. Larenas to come to my home and repair my door without him seeing the door or giving me an estimate. We spoke on a Monday and scheduled the repair date for that Friday. However, one hour before he was to arrive at my house on Friday, he called and cancelled. He told me I was too far a drive for him to give me a free estimate. I was confused since I was expecting him to be coming out to do the repairs. I told him this, but he said he had a company to run and could not make money doing jobs like mine. I asked him if he would help me in the near future and he said yes, but it would have to be when he is already working in my area. This concerned me since he previously said he does not like taking jobs in Baltimore. So when I asked if he could be more specific as to when he could help me, he became agitated and told me he is hanging up the phone and has a company to run. Those were his exact words. I must say my encounter with this provider was very disappointing, confusing, and very unprofessional. Luckily, I found someone else on Angie's List who did an outstanding job repairing my door!

I can't compliment Efrain and his son enough for the work that they did restoring our damaged Stickley grandfather clock. It proved to be a very difficult fix because of the mortis and tenon joinery. They did an outstanding job on a complex and valuable piece of furniture. You can't see a single seam, the new parts totally match the old. They gave us an extremely reasonable price. Lower than the competition. And although the job was more difficult and took a lot longer than expected, they did not charge us extra.

E. Larenas is truly an artist when it comes to working with wood furniture. He is the very best.

They do wonderful work, and they really appreciates the grains in wood! I would recommend them to anyone, and I am a trustee of Washington Winter Show.

It didn't look like was that damaged. But it needed refinished because there was water inside the wood. They were just delightful. They were very helpful. They picked it up and delivered on time. The table and desk look amazing.
