The CH-Tel rep came out right on time as scheduled, and quickly understood nature of the job and right away made helpful observations and got right to work. He located a couple other lines running to the house frame from the street that could also be clipped and removed. Very efficient, informative as he worked, and thorough. This is the second time we've hired CH-Tel and would highly recommend them to anyone seeking to resolve phone, internet, TV wiring issues in their home, or for new install jobs.

Great; technician was efficient and friendly. Knew his stuff. Also connected a loose cable plate to wall (not part of requested work).

Rick arrived on time, listened to my explanation of the problem, then went about checking all my phone outlets and the exterior line into my home. He determined that the issue was an intermittent inside wiring problem and would require future rewiring to completely resolve it. I declined doing that at this time, but he was able to get the 2 previously non-working phones to get a dial tone again. However, he cautioned me that this problem could re-occur, so he showed me what to do if it happened again in order to be able to use all 4 phones in our home. He spent about 1.25 hours on this situation and tried his best to resolve my phone problem. I was most impressed with how patiently he answered my questions and explained what he was doing and what I might need to do in the future. Although the 2 problem phones were working when he left (he had me listen for dial tones), soon afterwards that day, I lost dial tone again, but I followed his instructions and was successful in restoring all 4 phones to working order. If I decide to get new inside wiring, I won't hesitate to call C H Tel & TV Co. again.

I was exceptionally pleased with the work done by Ch-Tel. They worked quickly, cleanly and looked for the best way to move my cable jack that ensured the least amount of time on task. I always worry when a job is based on how long something takes because you never know what problems are behind the walls. They we up front on the quote and actually came in a little lower than expected.

From start to finish a very professional company, On time, on budget, installed an Ethernet line without any interruptions. Will recommend to anyone.

Went flawlessly. Guys laddered high up to extract cables no longer needed, consolidate works into single cable and fasten to brickwork leaving a clean, attractive appearance. All in pouring rain. Guys even helped FIOS installer with ladder and internal modifications. Neither the cheapest nor the most expensive . . . but you get what you pay for. Use again? Of course.

Technicians name, Ivaylo Banev spend hours with my router and he was able to fix it, and he did a great job. He was friendly and professional and a hardworker, and very confident with his work, I have no complaints about the service. They were very communicative, his assistant communicated well as well.

Excellent technical and craftsmanship! The team showed up and went right to work and put in a mount and TV. They stayed until the entire audio system was perfect in the living room, kitchen, and deck.

I really could not have ask for better service at a fair price considering they were repairing what another company had messed up. CH-TEL was here when they said they would be here, they did not come in the door trying to sell me a new system however when I am ready for a new system CH-TEL will be the company I contact.

TL;DR version: CH Telco was very professional. They were able to route difficult cables from my basement to the second floor without need to cut any feeder holes. Their work was immaculate. Long Version: I wanted to wire my entire home with CAT 6 ethernet connected to a patch panel in my basement, and clean up some really shoddy cable wiring done by either a DIY'er or a cruddy cable company tech. I originally envisioned having 10-12 ethernet drops and 2 cable drops; however, after speaking with Charlie it sounded like this work would take two days and cost more than my wife and I had budgeted for. I was able to reduce the size of the job by doing some installation work myself--putting up the server rack and patch panel in my basement utility room--and limiting the scope of work to running drops from the basement to the second floor (so just 5 drops). I also bought my own Cat 6E on Amazon, and ran a few easy to set drops myself in the basement. Charlie and his team were very helpful and understanding, and offered some minor pointers to make sure any pre-work I did lined up with what they needed. They also used the Cat6 cable I purchased for their own runs (I do not recommend this for a novice, I did a lot of research on ethernet cable types. The reason they did this was because I had a lot of cable leftover. CH Telco is a time and materials company, so the savings by using my cable was just the material cost). Charlie's team was able to find the best route for my wiring--next to a return air vent--and did not have to cut any holes other than where the wires terminated as a result. They also cleaned up a mess of cat 6 and coaxial cables in my basement by neatly fastening and tucking them to a board I had mounted to my utility room wall. When they left everything was neat, tidy, and labeled. I would definitely hire CH tel co again if I needed to wire my home for ethernet or add coaxial cable runs.

C.H. Telephone and TV was very prompt and thorough in fixing our problem. The previous owner of the house used a complicated business phone system that was not suitable for residential phone service. C.H. Telephone and TV got the phone system working again. Very pleased with their service.

Professional, patient, tenacious to get the job completed to customer satisfaction. Price was more than I wanted but for the work performed to satisfy me it was fair and reasonable. In all fairness I should have given them an A.

Fantastic! The team (2 men and a helper) were right on time ( even a bit early). They had all the right tools and parts\cables, etc. work was done well, and efficiently. They cleaned up afterwards and left the place looking better than it was. Everything functions well, and I'm very pleased.

Our telephone landline is connected to a Vonage system. All of a sudden our phones through out the house stopped working. All of our Panasonic phones read “Line in use”. Thinking the problem was in the Vonage Box, we contacted Vonage and did their trouble shooting procedure only to discover the problem was in our house wiring. Who do you call to diagnose such a problem? I did a Goggle Search and came up with a few company names. Since this company had the word “Tel” in its name I decided to give them a call. I spoke with Charlie who turned out to be the owner of the company. We discussed the problem and he told the most likely fault. I was going to attempt doing the repair myself, but after getting into the phone circuit box, I decided to call a professional. The two repair men that came where on time...very courteous and very knowledgeable. I explained the problem and they corrected the problem in about 1 1/2 hours. I could not have asked for any better service. Thank you Charlie and Ivaylo.

The installation went extremely well. The installation crew was very knowledgeable and skilled at their work. There was a minimum of cuts to drywall to accommodate the various rooms getting the cable. Charlie was very helpful in assisting us in getting the best shielded cable for our needs. They were not the cheapest quote, but I feel the slight difference was more than made up in their professionalism and quality of service. They also came back out weeks later to address an issue with the installation that turned out to have been caused by other workmen doing renovations at my home at the same time as their installation. Not only were they very quick to resolve the puzzling issue, but they did not charge for the service call. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation and will use them again in the future when the need arises. Top caliber company!

Good job but more expensive than I anticipated

Ivo was both pleasant and technically competent. He used the existing bracket, minimizing extra work (and holes in the wall) and performed the job very professionally. I would hire him again

We were having a very difficult time getting our home phone system repaired. We contacted C H Tel after Verizon failed to repair the problem. They were very knowledgeable and advised us how the problem could be repaired. They gave us a reasonable estimate and coordinated the work with our busy schedule. They performed the work for the price quoted correctly the first time in the time frame and schedule promised. Charlie and his staff were very courteous and a pleasure to deal with. We highly recommend them.

I had my tv deilivered by COSTCO. Out of the box it did not work! So the team helped me take it back to COSTCO and exchange it for a new one. The professionalism and patience displayed requires a review much greater than what I am writing. They alleviated all the hassle and stress that could’ve have been undertaken if not for their quick wit and customer service. Plantinum level kudos to this excellent team.

The technicians were right on time, very knowledgeable and professional, and performed the task as promised. All the wiring was neatly tucked into corners and holes were patched. Will be having them back to hardwire the rest of the home later this year.

CH-Tel gave me a very accurate estimate on the phone based on my description. When came to the house, they told me exactly what the issue was and how long to repair. They actually did the repair quicker than the estimate. Very professional work. Definitely will recommend them to any who need low-voltage work of any kind.
