We called at about 8:30 am. Charlie, who answered the phone, was courteous and knowledgable. Mike Warren showed up at our home at 1:00 pm the same day. The service was just outstanding. Not only did they do a great job, but they had the patience to explain everything to us so we would not have this problem again.
Description of Work: Switched the satellite TV from serving our family room and basement to serving our family room and master bedroom. Our home was pre-wired for cable in a loop configuration but was left unmarked by the builder 15 years ago, leaving a complicated mess that two different satellite company technicians could not decipher on two previous service calls. CH-Tel tested multiple cable combinations and determined the path along which the signal flowed throughout our home. Then, they labeled the BNC cables in each outlet and helped us draw a diagram that we can use in the future to understand the way the loop runs. They also hooked up the satellite service to the master bedroom.

Charlie was very responsive in scheduling a visit to provide an estimate. He was very thorough and very explicit about what the work would entail and what the cost would be based on. The men who carried out the work were prompt, neat, polite, and efficient. One very minor oversight was corrected promptly the next day. The newly installed cable connections are flawless, indistinguishable from work that would have been done when the house was constructed.
Description of Work: Installed wiring for cable TV to upstairs level of a 2 story house. Installed cable connections in each of 5 bedrooms.

What a great company to work with! Their estimate was well under other vendors. They listened to what our needs were and provided the exact system and features we needed. The wiring work was done with exacting care. Their installer made sure the outlets went precisely where we wanted. He did all the system programming. He cleaned up after the installation and made sure we were satisfied with everything.
Description of Work: Completely wired an existing home for multi-line business telephone system, Internet network, and video cabling. Provided phone system hardware, did all the wiring, system programming, and installing for the new jacks in all the rooms.

Actually it went wonderfully. Charlie was able to calm me down after another phone service had messed up the order several times. He also told me where to buy the actual phones cheaper and which ones to buy. When the technician arrived at the house, he was professional and competent and took a system that was not working (only one line functioning on two jacks) and made it possible for three lines to work on seven jacks and hooked up the fax. He also explained how everything worked in a language I could understand, and showed me something about future changes.

They were great to work with. Charlie helped us over the phone, and Rick came out to do the work. They installed cable jacks in two rooms where there were none. We really didn't want to run wire around the outside of the house, so they ran it through our attic and did a great, clean job of locating the outlets. You wouldn't know work had been done. We had a tight timeline - work done the Thursday before a Friday cable installation and a Saturday move, and Rick made an extra trip back and forth to get a taller ladder to make sure the work could get done that day. They do phone wiring as well. They gave great advice and just really seemed to know what they were doing.
Description of Work: CH Tel installed cable television outlets in a second floor bedroom and a basement family room.

He was on time, polite, careful with my belongings, and cleaned up after himself. I would use their services without hesitation. The only drawback is that they do not accept credit cards.

A real person answered the phone at CH Tel and arranged to have the technician come the same day! And, he showed up on time and did exactly what was needed. I couldn't be happier.
Description of Work: Repaired inside wires and jacks. Could not get a dial tone, but service to the house was fine. Verizon said there seemed to be a ''short'' in the line. CH Tel's serviceman found the short after much diligent searching, fixed the problem, repaired other unrelated damage, and verified that telephones and internet were all working properly
