A coaxial cable outside of our home was cut while we were having some work done We called C H Tel. Co. and they responded quickly and were out at our house within a day or so. The repair was quick and performed well. We will use C H Tel. Co. again if a need arises.

Pretty well done. We decided to do rewiring as opposed to patching.

CH Tel did a great job! Charlie was incredibly responsive on the phone and promised me the first appointment of the day. Rick (my technician) was there promptly at 9am. My main priority was to get all of my cables out of sight. Our previous installation left a cable running across our living room floor and it was a safety hazard. Rick got those cables out of the way and installed the lines properly. He had to go through a couple of walls, around a staircase, and through a closet but everything was patched up neatly, cleaned up, and all debris cleared away. Will definitely be using them again for additional cabling projects!

From the initial phone call to the follow up after the visit, I found CH Tel Co to be very knowledgeable and professional. Charlie was very helpful in letting me know the scope of the work they could perform and the nature of the services they offer. We were planning to get the phone from an Avaya dealer but he was able to find the same model refurbished at a significantly lower cost. We are a non-profit so every penny counts. The technician arrived on time for the appointment, installed the jack and phone and tied it in to the Avaya system. This center has a new Director so the technician spent some extra time explaining the system, her phone and explained many of the system capabilities available to her. I received a follow-up e-mail and phone call letting me know the service had been completed and asking for feedback on our experience. I'll definitely use these folks again. Top notch service!

They arrived on time, did the work requested, and charged a reasonable rate for the service provided. Can't ask for much more from a contractor. I will use them again when the need arises.

This is the second time I have used C H Tel to run new phone lines in some of my rental apartments. Both times they have been able to schedule an appointment quickly and run the new phone lines without a hitch. No complaints, they took care of the job and left the site clean.

My expectations were set with initial phone conversation with company owner - he gave anecdotal info that helped me have confidence in choosing his company to do the work. Pricing was discussed up front based on his understanding of the situation. All went well - quickly, neatly, and taking into consideration everything I needed to have done.

They came in and totally cleaned up and rationalized the wiring within our newly purchased home: de-installed old, wired alarmed system, tested and removed 'dead' phone and cable TV wiring within the house, removed old, unneeded phone, ADSL, and cable jacks/boxes, cleaned up phone/cable/FiOS lines from the street, organized home phone line 'de-mark' in basement, installed new phone and cable jacks, ran hardwire garage door opener, removed old Dish, etc. The organization, presentation, and functionality of all interior wiring is now outstanding. Great work, very clean, professional. Somewhat pricy but if you want/need an experienced professional to test, troubleshoot, and clean up decades of old, unlabeled cable/wires, consider C H & Tel - I very pleased with the result.

I called the office and the office person was wonderful. Asked all the right questions and gave me a time that someone would call me back. The call came as promised, and I explained that I didn't have land line service at my house and I was fairly sure it was because mice had chewed through the wiring. An appointment was made to come out and check the wiring and they arrived right on time.Rick checked all the jacks and wiring in the house and found out that the wiring to two of the jacks had been disconnected previously. I'm not sure by whom or when, but it explains why two of the jacks weren't working. The other jack was fine, but it turns out that the problem wasn't with the wiring in the house, but the service coming into the house. Rick took the mtime to point out the inside wires to me and explain where each one went. He then called the service provided and set up an appointment for them to come out and repair the service into the house. I'l just say that experience was not nearly so pleasant. But CH-Tel called several times as a follow up to make sure my telephone service was restored. Great job! And wonderfully nice. I would use them again.

The gentleman arrived on time and went right to work. Our cable line was installed under the carpeting in the master bedroom and we were having problems with the connection. He went into the attic and installed a line from the outside that ran down the wall to the cable connection. Our tv is now working fine and we are very pleased with the work.

I called the company after hours the day before, and the next day, early morning, Charlie got on the phone and understood the urgency of my problem. Within 2 hours, Rick was at my door and solved my problem in less than 2 hours. He was very attentive, rewired what needed to be wired, installed the right parts (previous company had installed cable switches rather than phone ones), reconnected all the wires to the boxes, tested everything and in that short time frame, my phone lines were working even better than before, no echo, no buzz, just perfect clear voices on the other side of the line. I couldn't be more impressed with their timing, friendliness, professionalism and expertise.

The technician arrived on time, and was able to locate and repair the corroded outlet in a timely manner. He was courteous and professional, and explained the process and the repair work well.

Rick arrived on time, found the phone wires (which no one else seemed to be able to find), hooked them up quickly, installed a new phone jack, and tested to make sure it worked. It all went smoothly, very reasonable price, and quality work.

It went great. I put off this repair for about 2.5 years because I thought the job would be expensive...really expensive. Needed to have the landline phone line restored before putting house up for sale. I wish I had the work done sooner. The company is very professional and knowledgeable. The work was completed in an hour.

Charlie Hertel called me back in 24 hours of my original call and we discussed the problem by phone. He gave me some options and we agreed on a plan to proceed. His prices seemed fair relative to the challenges of rewiring an old 6 bedroom house with ancient cable runs and multiple splitters. Mike, his tech, showed up on time and we only spent 15-20 minutes going through the issues and possible solutions. I had to race off to work. Mike called me once or twice to ask me questions and to give updates. When I got home, everything worked like new. He had traced an old line instead of running new exterior lines in one room and simple disconnected a TIVO unit in the main TV room to improve the signal. He pointed out I could replace some old cable in that room with a direct interior connection and probably re-install the TIVO which I will likely have them do. I also asked Mike to look at the wiring in a vintage 40's slot machine to fix the lights which illuminated the wheels, etc. It was fixed when I got home. Overall, CH was punctual, professional and courteous. I got a call from Charlie the next day to ask how the job went and then got a nice thank you card in the mail a week later. Just outstanding service and professionalism all the way around. I plan to use them for future electrical work.

Rich showed up exactly on time, as promised. Charlie was great to work with, flexible on schedule, and helpful in explaining the work. Rich had to spend some time in a very hot attic, but did the job the right way, concealing all the wiring, and sealing the new pass through into the exterior. Great job, and I would definitely call CH Tel for any future work of this nature.

The guys at C H Tel Co. Inc. were AMAZING! They treated my new house as if they were doing the work on their own home. They completely and fully explained all the work that would be done, how the work would be done, and what would be required to complete the job. They gave speciifc details about each aspect of the way the wiring would be routed, connected, and how the jacks would be installed. They listened to our needs and wants; and also helped provide ideas and solutions to our questions. The gentlemen were always on time, polite, friendly and extremely professional. Although the pricing might have seemed a bit high; in the end, it was WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY and I am SOOOOOOO happy I didn't go with any cheaper providers. These guys went ABOVE & BEYOND with the service they provided. There is NO ONE else I would hire to phone & cable wiring on my house. If you want the ABSOLUTE best, go with C H Tel Co.

Absolutely excellent service. The price was high, but this was largely because the contractor was here around 6 hours and did a lot of work. The actual work completed was done exceptionally well.

It went well. The jacks were repaired (had to go to the apartment house telephone closet). The serviceman also reconnected other phones to make use of the jacks.

Performance was as promised.

I spoke to Charlie, the owner, about pulling some cat6 from my basement up to the second floor bedrooms / office. He was very knowledgable and friendly. He outlined how they worked and gave me a rough quote over the phone. The day of the appointment, Rick (I believe) showed up, surveyed the house and gave me a final quote for the job. Then he and another tech got started on the job. They did a fantastic job of running the cable to the into some very hard to reach places utilizing an unfinished attic that didn't have a subfloor. They also only needed to punch out one small hole in the livable area to do this, and they did a nice job of patching that before they left. Finally, they did a great job of cleaning up their work. It was clear that both techs have been doing this work for a long time and it showed in the excellent work performed. While the price wasn't low, I think it was very reasonable for the work they did. You get what you pay for and I am very glad I choose Charlie's company.

The workman arrived on time, was courteous and professional. He tested out all our lines and made sure I was satisfied before he left. Terrific customer service during the service call and afterward when I had a question.

My upstairs landline telephone would intermittently work. Verizon had been out a few times. The various technicans repaired something, but the line would always stop working. The last technican said that there was something wrong with the line and that they would charge an arm&leg to trouble shoot. I contacted CH Tel with the idea that I needed a complete rewiring of the house. Charlie answered the phone and began to explain that he didnt think that a rewire was necessary. He took time to explain the basics of telephone wiring and that even was before I agreed to schedule the appointment. He was great and patient in answering my inexpereinced questions. He told me that Rick would be available to check out my problem the following week. Rick showed up at the scheduled time, he checked out the issue and fixed it in no time. It was not a rewiring issue, but something pretty obvious inside the box. It was obvious to Rick, but a mystery to the Verizon. They were great AND I received a very nice thank you card in the mail a week or so later.
