C H Tel did a great job. The job took two full days for two installers to run the wiring. They even came back a third day to install the last two cameras for free. They were very easy to work with, and they made a few holes as possible with the wiring. As a dog owner is it always a concern / stressful event when you have contractors in your house. However, they were dog friendly and did a great job keeping the dog from running outside every time they needed to work outside the house. All-in-all, A++.

The job went very well. I am in the process of replacing the siding on my house, and I didn't want the new siding to have holes punched in it to allow for cable cords: I have used a number of cable providers, and the outside of my house looked terrible. The cable companies do not seem to care where they run their wiring--nor do they care where they punch holes in your house. The outside of my house was punctured in numerous places--and it simply did not look good. I did some research on Angieslist and sought the advice of a couple of my neighbors who had updated their homes with new vinyl siding. After all of that, I settled on CH-TEL, largely because of my interaction with the office and with Charlie himself. What a pleasure the whole thing was!! I will definitely use this company again. They did a fantastic job and worked me in because Charlie knew my scheduling window was short, due to the upcoming siding installation. The technicians were fantastic--friendly and efficient. Running cable wiring is a time-intensive undertaking, and I really appreciated the efficiency of the two technicians (whose names I unfortunately can't remember, and they are both due major kudos) who worked in my home over three days. Getting this done was not cheap--but you get what you pay for, and the job done by CH-TEL was well worth the price. Plus the final charge was less than the initial estimate!

Excellent. Great communication prior to install date, worked with me on configuration and mounting options. Set me up with an electrician to get power behind unit out of site... Honestly couldn't have asked for better service. Highly recommend!!

I had a great experience with CH Tel Co! I contacted the company to get my cable wiring upgraded having been told, by my cable company, that it was not of sufficient quality to convey current signals. Before sending employees to assess my work needs, Mr. Charlie Hertel, the company?s owner, conducted a professional, personable and patient phone interview. He took time to understand the problems I was having. After an initial visit during which my home was inspected thoroughly, he and his crew fashioned a solution and presented a proposal. The company patiently waited for my calendar and budget to be ready for the project. On the date and at the time promised, Rick and Evilo arrived pormptly. They were very considerate of me and my home while working here. My home presented a special challenge as the original wiring was placed entirely inside of the walls. When the walls turned out to be nearly impenetrable, Rick and Evilo deftly placed the wiring outside of the walls and sealed it so neatly as to be barely noticeable! They patched as they worked. While leaving hardly a trace, they kindly referred me to a drywall/painting professional for detail work. Late in the project, I expressed a concern about signal strength that had not previously been brought to their attention. This required creativity and patience on the company?s part as the work plan had to be revised. In a room too far from the modem/router for my device to pick up the wireless internet signal, they hard-wired a connection. It was an expensive project for me. But the price was fair for the professional expertise and high level of customer service that I received. Their attention to detail and my concerns let me know that they were not just here to get the work done but to assure that I was completely satisfied. I would call them again and am happy to recommend the company to others!

Perfectly. They were prompt, and fit me in right away, as they understood the importance to me of having the second line ASAP (it's for my work). Charlie was super friendly and accommodating on the phone, and the tech who came out to do the work (Rick) was just as competent and efficient as he was friendly. A great experience. Will definitely use them again!

I had a million questions before purchasing the $89 big deal. The owner answered each one with knowledge and patience. The techs who came to my home were on time. They cleaned up all the drywall dust efficiently. They also provided helpful information regarding the install. I would recommend and use them again.

installers were professional and did a good job. read the fine print and don't believe what they tell you over the phone: additional costs for wire concealment despite a phone conversation re; 2 other companies inflating over cost of 'big deal'

I had found some wires in the wall while doing a renovation project to my rental property. I suspected that they were for a phone jack. I had call 5 different electricians and no one did phone jack installations/repairs except for C H Tel.Co. They did an excellent job. They worked on 5 jacks and completed the work within an hour and half.

Wonderful experience! Charlie and team are amazing and the sweetest folks you'll ever work with. Charlie and Evo ran coaxial and cat 5/Ethernet cable ran through existing ceiling and walls from basement exterior (back-side) through basement living space through garage and up through to the living room (front-side, middle level of townhouse). This was no easy task as they had to navigate through and around existing beams, ducts, etc. After completion of work, there were 5 golf ball-sized holes and 1 fist-sized hole in our ceiling and 1 elongated notch in our ceiling/wall of the laundry room where router was initially located which will cost us approximately $400 to repair. Based on what needed to be done, this was a lot better than the alternative (ripping down drywall and putting up new). After the first trip and after we settled on a television, we were so happy with Charlie and the team that we asked them to come back out for a 2nd trip to mount our big screen and install some molding to hide the wires down the center of the wall rather than putting them behind the wall and making more holes. We did not have to purchase ANYTHING for either job; Charlie and team came with everything we needed including the television mount. You may think the cost is steep, and perhaps it is, but it IS fair. I do not feel like we overpaid for what needed to be done. We felt that the value and service we received should be an industry standard for ALL service technicians and would absolutely recommend C H Tel. Co. and their services.

We purchased the $175 TV mounting deal. They were very responsive and courteous, were flexible with the scheduling and also in regards to the desired mount to help us realize our wishes. The mounted TV looks very professional and we're satisfied with the result. The only downside were the unexpected costs. We knew we would have to pay a little extra since we wanted a different mount than the standard one, however, we were surprised that we were also charged labor costs on top of the deal so that in the end, the whole ordeal cost us about $400.

Bought the Angie's List deal @ $175 (which included mounting bracket) and was able to get scheduled within 2 days. 65" TV was mounted with cords in wall. Ended up having another TV (45") mounted for an add'l $175 (same as deal bought). Had to pay extra for add'l parts and labor on concealing cords. Very satisfied with results. They were running late, had to call to find out ETA, but other than that, went really well. Excellent and friendly technicians. Charlie, the owner, is super friendly and very customer service oriented. Liked them so much, referred them to my brother, who is an architect, for one of his jobs.

The contractors arrived on time. They were courteous, explained what they would do, and completed the work in a short time. the TV looks great, and they were very professional.

C H Tel was very responsive; returned my call right away and scheduled two technicians to complete the work. When the techs were going to be delayed, the owner called to let us know ahead of time. The technicians were very knowledgeable and completed the work in a timely manner. I would recommend C H Tel for any inside wiring work needed.

My husband and I were very pleased with the professionalism of Charlie and his team. We'd originally called for an estimate to run cat5e cabling and mounting of an 8 camera surveillance system. Charlie quoted an hourly rate of $175 for two guys, and a two day estimate for the work. This exceeded our budget so my husband started the work himself. After installing two interior cameras and running cable in the attic it was clear we needed help to run cable through some of the interior walls and attach the exterior cameras. So, we called Charlie back. Charlie sent Rick and a helper (I forget his name), who did a great job finishing the work my husband started. They took about 7 hours of non-stop work, which is when we realized the original time estimate was about right (my husband spent the weekend running cable in the attic). After the work was complete and we paid the bill, we received a very nice thank you letter in the mail - a nice touch. My husband and I would recommend CH Tel. Co for any interior wiring work, especially Cat5e installation, which isn't as easy as it first appears.

I'm the CIO of a Fortune 200 company that deals with these types of projects all the time across our global real estate footprint. I also know how to do this work and do it very well. I was looking for an affordable, local vendor, that did residential work. I have a large house that was built in 2004, and the original owner had RG6 and Cat5e cabling run throughout the house. None of it was labeled well, and most of the TV jacks were dead and uncapped. The basement wiring room look like a bowl of spaghetti that exploded. The Cat5e was 90% terminating in a telephone punch down block and there were only 3 cables dedicated to Ethernet and they were hanging loose. Exact opposite of what the house needed. I needed all but 3 of the Ethernet lines repurposed from phone to ethernet, and I needed a patch panel installed. Rick and his assistant traced everything, installed the wiring board, labeled everything, and did exactly what I needed. I know where everything goes, how it's connected and I can now move the wireless access points around to get proper coverage. This allowed me to finally set up my four airport extreme base stations from Apple in a properly configured (meaning wired) roaming extended network. Coverage is now on every floor, and out in the front and back yards. Speed is blazing fast because I'm not using wireless extenders any longer, and this allowed me to connect most of the static gear to Ethernet (which further reduced the load on the wireless network). I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of the work, the price, and I recommend them highly. I have high standards of quality and I know how to do this work as I personally wired Cat6, RG6, and audio cabling throughout my last house during remodel. They did the work better than I would have done which is saying a lot.

One technician came out at the time originally scheduled to look at the work. Because it was more involved than he could do by himself, he gave me a rough estimate of the time required and we rescheduled. Two technicians arrived on the new appointment date, an hour or so late because of traffic. The work was done within the estimated time, neatly and with a minimum of holes in the drywall. The technicians were very professional. This was the second time I've used C H Tel to fish cable, and I will do so again, should the need arise.

The technician gave an honest assessment of the condition and the cost and reviewed the options with me. He didn't push me to have the work done, and offered to return on a more convenient day. The work took a bit longer than they estimated, but the quality of the work was great and they cleaned up after themselves!

Very well! They were available during the installation for any questions we had and came back each day ready to work hard to get the system up and running. We have had no issues with the system so far and believe they did very good work.

The work went extremely well. The two people who came out to my house were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and punctual. When they came to my house, they took time to figure out the best way to string wire from my internet hub to the various drop points that I had requested. This eventually required them to get into my attic and string the CAT 5e cable. The work that they did was very clean and everything works extremely well. I am very happy with the work that they did. The only slight negative was that the price was higher than I had originally been quoted. But the original quote was based upon a conversation that I had with the owner of the business over the phone. He asked me a bunch of questions and gave me a quote based upon my answers. But when his technicians came to my house, they felt that the job was more complicated than they had been led to believe and that was the reason for the cost over-run. They spent more than half the day at my house, and they were working all of the time, so I do know that the work was quite extensive. In the end, the result met my expectations so I'm happy.

The service man was on time and very nice. He fixed the problem in under and have . he asked if there was anything use he could do. Very kind.
